- WLtoys 124016 V2 Speed Runs with Mod1 Gears and a 3s. I bash the heck out of this thing. But today we are gonna do some speed runs. I lowered the buggy last night and the other day I slapped mod1 gears in after I spun the plastic gear bashing in the empty swimming pool.
Buggy has
ESC: HobbyWing 60a
Stock brushless Motor that came with the Buggy (this motor has been under water LOL)
Battery: Ovonic 3s 2200mah
Gears: Mod1

Good run I wish I had that much room .I just hit 64.8 in less then half that. 3s castle 5700 kv sidewider 4 . 80mm rubber tires. Same speed reader.

So the mod 1 gearing is adding a good 12/13/14 mph as other speed runs I've watched usually get around 55mph with stock gearing on 3s.
Hi do you have to strip the original printing in order to paint it or can I just paint over? I hate the body of it but otherwise the style is cool
