- The Path of the Cross of Father Ventura is one of the beautiful routes that start from the same streets of Tolox, a town located in the National Park of the Sierra de las Nieves (Malaga) and belongs to the network of Magical Villages of Spain.
With just over 1 kilometer (one way), the route descends to the Horcajos River, a watercourse that we will cross to find the first of the stations, of a total of 14, that will accompany us through the demanding ascent through the southern slopes of the Cerro de Carrasco.
At the finish of the ascent we will find the cross erected in honor of Father Ventura, a Franciscan born in Tolox in the sixteenth century and who left for Latin America to spread the Christian faith.
In addition to this monumental landmark, we can enjoy another fantastic prize, such as the fantastic views of the town and the spectacular environment in which it is framed.
