This trailer blew my mind when I first saw it all those years ago. I couldn't believe there was a racing game as cool looking, as technically impressive, and as fast as this. Then I get the game, and while the difficulty took some adjusting to back then. I was in love. After all these years, there has yet to be a game that can even compare to F-Zero GX, in terms of what it accomplishes. There's plenty of futuristic racing games that take vague inspiration, but none of them are anywhere as fast, as precise, and as rewarding as F-Zero GX. If Nintendo won't make a sequel, then they at least need to preserve this masterpiece.

It's interesting to see that some tracks were retextured: Twist Road in Fire Field Loop Cross in Green Plant Cylinder Knot in Lightning Double Branches in Port Town And in the Game files is possible to find Screw Drive in Sand Ocean
Actually while I do enjoy Wipeout as well I feel that they are very different. I would go as far as saying Wipeout is a mix of f-zero and Mario kart. Saying they are the same is like saying Titan Fall and Halo are the same because they are futuristic shooters
Nothing else even comes close. Even now when I play this I am amazed how well it holds up and how fast and fluid it is. 60fps on gamecube with a game that looked like this. Incredible.
The 2000s were definitely a time to be alive. Masterpieces like F-Zero GX and the Revenge of the Sith Video Game were conceived as well as the Big Bang Theory show
I love F-Zero GX, as of me typing this, I finally completed all 5 Cups on Master Difficulty, I have beaten Chapters 3, and 4 on Very Hard, and I have obtained the short movies for Pilot #’s 01, 02, 08, 10, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, and 31. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I 100% THIS GAME!
I remember getting a DVD with game trailers on it when I preordered The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and this is where I originally saw this trailer. I brings back fond memories...
0:34min-0:37min: Since YEARS I'd been wondering which course this is. Ever since I saw this video the first time I played the entire game but have not found that course. The skin is like it's a track from green planet (if I remember correctly), but the course itself not. SEND HELP!
I can't be sure as I didn't play an actual arcade version of this game, but this music is definitely in the gamecube version: Story Mode mission 4, the one where you have to destroy Michael Chain. I believe the song is called "night of Big Blue" or something similar.

The track was changed before it made its way into retail versions of the game. The F-Zero AX machine has the better version and version closest to the one in the trailer.

It does have the skin from Green Plant. I'm probably mistaken but what comes to mind is Lightning: Loop Cross.

ivehadworse That track is actually just Fire Field: Cylinder Knot with the Lightning aesthetic, it's still in the game, just with different textures.
