Wow. What an amazing story. It's so awesome to see the love and respect this family all has for one another. Thats what this sport can do. It brings people together, creates amazing moments, stories to tell, memories to share. Becoming a pro is not easy. In fact, I'd say making money as a motocross racer might be one of the hardest roads in pro sports. Just the number of kids out there all working towards getting one of just a few spots on a pro team is ridiculous. But this family has it all in perspective and really seems to use it as a bonding experience as much as anything. Years ago I wrote a movie for the Disney Channel called Motocrossed. In it, we tried to show the right way and the wrong way to parent kids with aspirations of being pro riders. The Richards family is definitely doing it the right way and I can;'t wait to see what's next for these two talented young people and their dedicated, incredible parents.
@@CanyonRichards You bet, Canyon. I'm going to be keeping track of you guys as you make your way to the pros. You both look like you have the talent. All it takes is the drive. Keep it pinned and on two wheels!
Solid family and damn good kids! With this family dynamic I have a feeling these 2 would be successful in anything they chose to do. Keep on keep’n on Richards family!
Super blessed you guys are a part of the moto family. Thank you guys for being you. Canyon, you’re a great kid keep chasing your dreams. Thank you so much for using my work too! 🤘🏼👊🏻❤️
I knew of Brighton before I knew of Canyon. Watching this video was absolutely amazing. Getting to meet the parents and see exactly what there thinking, its really cool. I hope that this is just a intro video and there is a reality show in the future because I've like to see them grow just like the Deegans and the Reeds. It would be amazing to have another show too, while its fresh and new. Also, this show actually had a very realistic approach and feel. I'd actually enjoy watching 'The Richards' more. Also Brighton is actually extremely important to the future of our sport. She has everything to be the perfect role model for the future of the sport. To help female racing be more distinguished and frontal.
I love dirt bikes and I love moto, but I can't get myself to EVER aspire for my kids to do it professionally. It just seems like a pipe dream, and the risk and sacrifice seems too big, for me personally. That said, I admire any family that makes the commitment to go all in, because that's what it takes. They are more ambitious, and bigger dreamers than me, and I respect and appreciate it. I wish them nothing but the best.
Awesome Video having a track like that to practice or just have fun really helps. Wish nothing but the best for your family. Keep them busy as long as you can!
Home is wherever you make it . Sounds like you guys made home on 30 acres on a motocross track. Life is short , live your dream. Take in the moments because you guys as a family will have more than most !!! God bless , be safe , and keep rubber side down !!!
Awesome video! Good luck in your endeavors. Keep up hard work and dreams will come.GO CAN-MAN! I liked and subscribed.wish the best for your entire family .
Awesome video ! You're doing great things with your family. People think you're crazy for living out "the dream" because it doesn't fit the norm in America. Because its so risky and dangerous but the values, the mental strength the unity you guys have are living proof of what moto is all about ✊💯 THE SPORT NEEDS FAMILIES LIKE YOURS.
good stuff! takes me back to the 80's when my parents put all that money into racing.. i never really seen their side of it until i got older. so it's cool how Mr. Richards is having his son do work to show him the value. I still ride though. :)
YOUR children are doing just fine and if they want it bad enough then you've given everything for them to do it with mainly LOVE, I see good things in there riding ability's and they enjoy it that's a must in this sport.
Hey, south jerseyian here, is the farm open to the public? I see bikes going into trails all the time on 50 just never knew if it was private or not so never attempted to go, in need of more riding spaces here
The Farm is where we live. We fenced in the property to keep it private to focus on doing sections and training how we need to instead of being at the mercy of a public track. If you see us at a local track this year come say hi. We always like riding with people and invite our friends all the time.
Canyon, I swear you could be Guy Coopers brother. So much similarity in your personality and looks. Life is what you make of it and your family is doing a very cool job of it.
Great video!! Super neat. Starting making more content. We are just starting our UA-cam channel as well it’s a lot of work but lots of memories as well.
So many great riders never get the opportunity to make it to the top cuz of time and money it takes. Not to mention the stress on the family cuz everything has to be focused on riding training and racing
Motocross is not easy! I’ve been struggling with jobs the last few years to try to save one! I got in the union then they let me go! 2022 I will make it happen!
I'm sorry you see it that way. We have sacrificed many things to do what we do. The kids put in a ton of effort to be where they are and we have great people that support us. The story we have to share, we felt was good to inspire others. Thanks for watching.
Hello neighbor. I'm Mike G in Hammonton. Have my own 3-acre Moto track that I've been having some neighbor problems recently. My buddy Mike Christopher and his son Macklin have been riding there recently and ask you about it. I am 53 and not really into social media so I'm reaching out here. I have been here 14 years with a kick-ass smaller facility and I have a shop and I'm a mechanic. Get back to me in some way if you want to. I would love your feedback
Just finished the video. Yeah I can help you. I am 15 minutes away. Maybe you can help me with my neighbors. Now we have two facilities for the kids and for us

I came here just for Stew
Then wait till we post the next video of us riding there next week.

If it doesn’t work out as a pro Canyon will always have those skid steer skills to fall back on and get a bag to build private tracks for people
That’s right. Septic builds pay!
not being funny but i came here for james stewart on the thumb nail,, wtf is this got to do with js7!!!!
We'll be riding at James Stewart house next week. That will be out second video. The pic was when we went to his house a while back.
