Thanks for the video~! I got a deck of cards just now, but I didn't check the details long enough to see that I was given the ones with the instructions (and the box itself) written in German. So, yeah. This has been quite helpful 😊
@BowersGameCorner yes i have fond memories of BoomO. I ve been looking for copy for my kids, but I guess they stopped printing it already. This game 5 Alive do just nice. Thanks for the vid!
If I have any wild card as a last card on my hand, do I win automatically after placing it? Or it's just a new round will begin? Another question is if I get redeal as the last card on my hand, do I win automatically after placing it or just a new round began?
When we use the reshuffle card, do we reshuffle and distribute equally or how? Help! And if its distributed one by one and there is an odd number of cards. Does the other person get an extra card?
Yeah I think you're supposed to deal the cards and if the distribution is uneven, that's that and some players will just have more/less cards. However, you can always alter how you play the game so you could give the person(s) an extra card or take one away so everyone has the same amount of cards
I have 1 question which is not covered anywhere. Suppose a player played the last card as a BOMB card. What do you think should happen? 1. Do other players first have to throw 0s and the ones who don't have 0 card will have to flip over the alive card. And then they must flip another alive card as the round is over? So in total, a player who doesn't have 0 has to flip 2 alive cards to dead. 2. Or if one of the players played the last card as a BOMB card, we will consider the round as over and all other players will only flip 1 alive card to dead without considering the BOMB card requirements of throwing 0s and flipping alive cards to dead.
If the last card that someone drops is a wild card do we still have to do that action or does it automatically go back to the beginning to getting 10 cards ?
What if the last card played is a bomb? Do all opponents still have to play a zero and if they can't they'd potentially lose 2 lives (1 for not having a zero and 1 for the round ending)? Or does the bomb just count as a last card and everyone loses 1 life and the game resets? The rulebook only calls out the redeal card specifically as a wild that ends the round.
Hello, hoping you can help as Hasbro can’t seem to answer my questions and directed me to your video 🙃 When playing a +2 card in the game, is the picking up of cards considered the opponents turn? Or do they then get to put down a card once they have picked up? Example, player A puts down a +2 card. Player B and C pick up two cards each. Whose turn is next? Likewise, when playing a bomb card, is the playing of a ‘0’ card or turning over a life considered the opponents turn? For example, Player A puts down a bomb. Player B puts down a ‘0’ card and player C turns over a life. Whose turn is next? Please help settle this so I don’t have to divorce my husband 😆
LMAO! Thats amazing, thank you for letting me know. In the +2 scenario *Also +1* they wouldn't lose a turn, just everyone other than the card player draws cards, and continues normally. Same with the bomb as well.
I don't think anything happens, everyone you doesn't have a 0 or wild card lose a life every turn. I think there are enough wild card in a deck that makes this rare.
The re deal card thats what I dont understand. Lets say I have 2 card other have 3 4 and if I deal them then the number of the card in your hand wont be same. U get it sorry my english is not the Best. So I need the shuffle and give player X the same amuont of card that he had and player Y the same amount and ect. Right? Please help
What happens if a bomb is played and it results in multiple people playing their last card? Maybe the player playing the bomb as well as a few playing 0's?
Did you ever find an answer for this? My family found a similar situation with the bomb being the last card and if it resulted in the round ending vs opponents having to play a zero and lose 2 lives instead of one (one if they don't have a zero and one for the round ending). For this situation I would say maybe since the person playing the bomb was the first to use all their cards, they'd get priority and win the round. If they didn't use all their cards then the person who played a zero as their last card wins the round (if there are multiples then they all win - both against bomb and the round) and everyone else loses a life (possibly two)?
Would it not be essentially a race to see who puts a 0 down first and thus removing a life from the others? The vlogger here does use the key word ‘immediately’ which suggests this. The last card being the Bomb getting priority and taking lives off the others sounds reasonable.
I have a question. Avid card games and board game player here with my grandkids. We have been playing this game now for two weeks just like you described. But never have we encountered a scenario where someone Hass to go over 21. Someone always has a wild card in their hand. It feels to me is if there’s something amiss in the rules. I hope this is making sense. Anyone else encountering the same issue? Perhaps we are doing something wrong. Thanks for any help you can give.
I guess losing a life when you can't stay under 21 is just for good measure. It's actually good that you have wild card most of the times, because if you get to exactly 21 or really close and no one or only a few players can play cards then everyone starts loosing life every turn until one remains and the game is already over. (since you don't draw cards)
If I understood correctly, only some of the wild cards made the pile total go down to 0. For some of them the number stayed the same. Maybe that's what you've missed? :)

Thanks for the explanation! I always check UA-cam for game play or directions before purchasing to know whether my kids can play too.
God it helped!
Thank you!!! This game was so fun once we got the hang of it.
Glad i could help!

My family enjoyed it!
Understandable. Have a great day 👍

@@BowersGameCorner it did!! You don't know how much time me and my cousins wasted on the manual

In the 5 Alive card game, the "Wild Cards" card is included in 108 cards? Or does it have to be 109 cards in total?

@@cloverihardlyknowher5190 THanks! Spot on!
I have a question! So if u know you will go over you don't put the CARD DOWN?
or do you put the card to show you have gone over 21?
The rules say dont play it
I'm pretty sure you don't do anything, you lose a life and pass turn.

Probably ends automatically, since I don't think there's a wild card that negate the dropping of a last card.
Yep, the round auto ends. Thanks Michele!

i want to know how many copy wild cards in the Deck for each card, e.g DRAW 1, Draw 2, REVERSE, SKIP & others. Thanks.
What do you do with the pile of the card do you pick.up.or they are just there for looks
What happen if i put a =21 card, does the discrad
pile go to zero or i lose heart, what happen?

Could u pls explain the pass me by card?
Sorry I Dont have the game anymore
So if the value is 21, can I use the skip to avoid losing a heart?

So when the game resets and we reshuffle, who will start the game? The person who is the oldest in real life or the person with more alive cards?
I think it's the player after the winner
unsure why the instructions somehow manage to contain the word 'subtract'... although they disregard it immediatly.
What about the 1s and 2s
What about em?

Haven’t tried that one.

So say the count is 19 and you play a 2 on your turn making 21 does that mean it resets to 0 or you lose a life and it resets?
In that situation nothing special would happen. Ut would be the next players turn.
