Great video. Always be alert when in an area you don’t know. 78 years ago I was born apx 30 to 45 min from Morgantown. A different world back then. And as life happens I’ve lived the majority of my life in southern states. I love you channel and the good you give back to a cause close to your heart. We just stayed at our first Walmart on our way back to Wisconsin in April. We called ahead to made sure we could stay there, glad it when smoothly for you guys.
Great video! Always good to be alert when in a new area and doing something you normally don’t. I was born 78 years ago 30 to 45 minutes from Morgantown and lived off and on in that area when dad was on an unaccompanied tour or war. It is a very different world from my childhood and you never locked your doors or met a stranger. I love the work charitable work you do wit the veterans. If you ever see a way to do it in West Virginia I know there ane many veterans organization would greatly appreciate being a recipient of you generosity. The veterans from the hills hollows and rural mountains mostly grew up a self sufficient life and kind kept to selves. So many in wva would benefit from the awareness you would bring for them to just reach out and ask for help befor taking matters into own hands and it’s to late. I love your channel and pray for all the veterans you honor. May God bless you and give you good health and the things needed to keep honoring him ❤
You guys are great. Hey We broke our rule two days ago We pulled our 25 foot camper from Spruce Pine NC to Ocala Fl. 573 miles. Left at 7 am and arrived at 6 pm. I am 73 yrs old and I still cant believe it. There was no good place to stay . Sounds about like your story. We enjoy your videos and your veteran pictures at the end really get to me. Love to meet your both one day. Thanks again
Glad no one knocked on your door. I thought you would be ok there. I love Dennys they are still having good deals with their breakfast. I love Mexican food. I had a burrito yesterday for lunch and dinner because it was a big one. Next time you come out here to Vegas I’ll take you to a good Mexican restaurant. Say hello to Scout! Have a great Great Father’s Day!
There's a great harvest host in Hagerstown we stayed at last year. We've stayed at quite a few Walmart's over the years but not so much anymore. It's hard for me to get a good night sleep there. Glad it went smoothly. The margarita looked sooo good! Safe travels guys!
We did a Cabela's in Dayton on our way up to Port Clinton this Spring. Quiet and Margo scored a BGE cookbook to fulfill our shopping obligation. Far better than a Walmart, for future reference.
I knew you guys were rule breakers! LOL! We have never stayed at a Walmart or Cracker Barrel. Looks interesting. Poor Scout. OMG! That margarita looked amazing. I am jealous!! Glad it all worked out for you guys. --Jen
Always call before stopping at a Walmart for the night. We stay fairly often. I have the Walmart Allstays app., and sometimes it’s not accurate. So, I always call for permission. That way if they say no, you call the next Walmart on your route. We drive a SuperC, and drive right through in front of the building. There’s plenty of room. I say that and next time we will get in a tight spot and have to unhook the toad in front of the store :)
We've been following you two for a long time. I just love the videos. You mention you have a business while on the road, what is it? Ps. When parking on the down low, I have put a bottle of radiator fluid on the ground in front of the house of my rig. So if someone questions our stay, we just mention we overheated and letting our engine rest. 😊
I just found you guys on UA-cam because my husband and I are just getting into the RV life. I went on a binge watching your channel and you guys were in Morgantown. I'm from WV I must say that Denny's is pretty good you missed out on that lol. I think it's pretty cool you guys are reviewing somewhere I actually know.
We've never stayed at a WM...but we have stayed at a truckstop....which you don't get much sleep at all. Some alternatives we have used; casinos, Crackerbarrel, Cabela's, Loves~Rv Stop self-service. Our longest travel day, 9 hrs.
Protection devise..😊😊😊...well you know us...mine comes from Louisville ‼️ Back in my trucking days i hated truck stops...to much light & noise. I would do wal marts all the time.....i would go out back away from everything...shut the truck down ...and good to go. Some guys ruined it i think because of the less that desirable behaviors. But i would do it just for an over night
I like how you're always planning ahead; checking redundancies and options. When you "fail to plan, you plan to fail" as the saying goes. I always walk my exit route too if there's any question. Surprises, when hauling, are not my thing. I'm glad you made it safely to next stop!
Remember to where you were going, you could have gone up Route 17 in Virginia to I66 west to either Route 522 or I 81. There is a Pilot truck stop south of Morgantown of I79.
We seldom stay at Walmart but when we do, we always go to customer service and confirm we can stay there. The last one we stayed at was a couple weeks ago. RV Parky app said it was allowed but there was a sign up that said 'no overnight parking'. We went inside and they said it was OK. By the end of the night, there were about five RV's in the parking lot.

I would have asked the manager....not knowing would give me too much anxiety. Glad to see you didn't get kicked out.

Thank you so much for the great comment. We truly appreciate it.

That sure was a long travel day! Thanks so much for the kind words and for supporting us - maybe our paths will cross one day! 😊

We love Mexican food too. It is always a good option.
Have not camped out at Walmart yet, I know it's coming just not sure when. You were in our neck of the woods, live in Catonsville, Maryland. ❤

We thought it would be a lot louder and hard to sleep but it wasn't terrible.
Glad Everything Went Well! Give Scout A Hug For Me!!
In the work shop, where we couldn’t say the G word either, we referred to those things as “Farm Equipment”. No worries, no hassle from HR

We've heard that Cabelas is a great stay.
Always glad to see you for our Sunday afternoon entertainment.
Thank you 😊

Lol - if you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun! 🤪
Safe travels and stay safe.

Ok, thanks for the info! 😊

Great idea with the radiator fluid. I do decorative wood burning (pyrography). You can see some of my work at Waggs Wood Tatts on Facebook.

Lol, too funny. We do love hitting up a Denny's every now and then though 😊

9 hours is way too long for us.

Ya. Some bad folks are ruining it for everyone. Pretty soon, they will completely do away with being able to parking lot camp.
Watching your Morgantown Walmart video. My back up or first choice, would have been Cracker Barrel or bass pro shops, which Morgantown has both.
I like how you're always planning ahead; checking redundancies and options. When you "fail to plan, you plan to fail" as the saying goes. I always walk my exit route too if there's any question. Surprises, when hauling, are not my thing. I'm glad you made it safely to next stop!
The extra few minutes to walk it is worth not getting trapped in a sticky situation.
You two are living in the edge!! Bunch of rule breakers 😂😂. We haven’t done a Walmart yet. Not too sure about the same issues.
🤣

I am glad you didn't get the knock and you had a goodnight sleep. How was the Mexican food?
That restaurant was wonderful! Good cheap for and drink 😁

There were several in the lot with us that night also.
By "protection device," do you mean your Cordless Hole Puncher? :)
🤣 Yup
Hope that was a prop open roads card with fake account numbers! 😮
They would need my control number to use my card and it has to be swiped. You can't just ener the number. No risk in showing it.
Freedom tool👍🏻🇺🇲
Why didn’t you just go in and ask for permission? I stay at Walmart quite often and have never had a problem.
Where do you store you corn hole boards when traveling?
They are in the storage bay with everything else.
Can you link the park advisor app you used?

Personally i dont overnite in walmarts, too many sketchy folks there after they close. Lots of better options
