"Professor?" The student raised his hand. "Why did you use percentage measurements on something so arbitrary?"
The professor shook his head. "I Understand how you find this strange, but the man I ran into was just that. You now know the story of how I got kidnapped for my research, but you aren't aware of how I got away, correct? He is the reason. That one man took on an entire room of trained guards and burst into my cell by knocking the door off its hinges. I was surprised he somehow managed to do it, he was just under six feet, had a muscular build of an Olympic body builder, but what surprised me the most was both his agility and his wounds. He was somehow as agile and flexible as a man with a quarter his bulk, but his wounds scared me. He was covered in lacerations, and when I managed to take a closer look, they looked like something had scraped across his skin. I was answered moments later when I heard a gunshot ring out, and another wound just like it appeared across his left shoulder."
The professor set his book down and looked around the classroom.
"Do you understand now? The man didn't know me, he wasn't someone from a rival governing body that wanted my research as well, he wasn't related to anyone I know as a friend of family, or family of a friend. He was just a passerby. After we were out, I asked him who he was, and why he saved me. He simply smiled and said 'Names Brad. I saved you because I saw this ugly ass minivan roll up, stop on the street and pluck someone off it. I read somewhere that you're obligated to help someone if they're in trouble, so I followed them in my car.' When I told him that was insane, to risk so much. Do you know what he did? He snorted at me. He said 'You think I don't know that? I was born with strange condition where I can't feel fear. I know that things can hurt me, I know that certain things are dangerous, so I know to avoid it, but I'm never afraid. I've seen those who are, and they dance around or shit themselves when sufficiently scared. I avoided those bullets because I couldn't save you if I was dead, so I avoided them as much as I could.

@@Bob-mp2re Fiction. I've been seeing the lines he puts to describe the playlists he makes, and I've been trying to come up with either a good mini story or a phrase to fit in. This one was only made because I had the idea that not every crazy person thinks they're crazy, but what if there was someone who did insane shit and was aware that it was insane, but was self-aware enough to function better? People aren't willing to go and fight a building full of armed guards, because they don't want to get hurt. They need some serious consequences to happen for them or someone they care about deeply before they act. That's why superheroes aren't always true heroes. Those who do insane shit for the sake of someone they might not even know, despite the fact that they are guaranteed to get either crippled or killed, are the true heroes in any society. Someone who faces impossible odds, and gets through not by some extreme escape plan, not by being saved by someone in a massively high authoritarian position, but because they're aware of what they're capable of, and are nutty enough to try and pull it off. Everyone who can be considered a true hero has to be at least a little but bonkers.

*The dusk of the evening was starting to dim as the guards of a warehouse were laughing a bit and playing cards, flucking a few things at the people they were watching. Soon a window rumbling, car alarm sounding, bone chilling thunder clap erupts, the radio nearby shorts out and pops, making the guards stagger out of their seats. One of the people that was there was muttering something then laughs a bit.* "He's coming, h-he's going to get you all" *The guards look at one another as the lights flicker and pop as they hear screaming that is cut off by a sickening sound of bones, muscles, nearly everything in the human body breaking as they hear sharp thuds that lead to the sound. Then silence as someone on the two-way radio is quietly praying as the sound of crackling is heard, a mix of flames and electricity. The person soon yelps and fires off his side arm then yelps and begs to be let go, the deep sound of sinister chuckling is heard next, then it erupts into laughter before stopping as the person screams and is thrown at the door of the warehouse. A resounding boom emits from the five inch thick steel door as it's dented and the person crumples from the force of the impact going silent. The other guards shake out of it and aim their lights at the door along with their weapons. Soon the boss radios in, asking what the commotion is as one of the guards responds with that they're being attacked by something. The boss responds with the order to eliminate the threat and then the steel door is knocked on from the other side. Once, twice, thrice, three hard knocks that echo in the area as it is soon blown off its hinges with such force it tears a hole where the doorway was. A flash of lightning streaking across the sky as a figure stands there, an athletic build and with blazing eyes that burrow into any that oppose him, the gloves that adorn his hands creak softly as his fists clench tight. His body was dressed with a black hoodie, dark pants and boots, a mask covering the lower half of his face, leaving his piercing eyes visible. Soon the guards open fire, but he just chuckles, the same chuckle from earlier as he walks calmly past the bullets, the metal melting as they get close, not from heat but from the aura of pure, unbridled, unadulterated power emitting from him. He shows no fear, nothing but that chilling chuckle as he walks up to the guards, two running while one unloads a full magazine from his weapon before grabbing a flash grenade. As the figure moves with insane speed he grabs the flash grenade and pulls the pin, shoving it down the guards throat, breaking his esophagus in the process. Moving past the choking guard he walks to the other two as the flashbang goes off, the force of it separating the head from the body in a red mist with chunks. The figure moves his hand a bit, sending white flames at one of the guards, the other watching as he tries to open the door as the boss watches from a camera and sends in reinforcements. The blinding flames grapple around the guard and soon his body is being turned to ash, his body falling apart as the flames pierce into him, his screams being silenced as the flames consume him, soon almost looking at the other guard as they form a demonic maw of flame and lightning looking to feed. The guard is absolutely paralyzed with pure fear as the maw looks over at the incoming reinforcements as they take aim. The figure stays quiet as his fist is through the guards head, giving him a quick death. But for the others, well the figure raises his arms, a barrier protecting the prisoners and shielding them from the horrors. The guards aim and open fire, bullets whizzing past as the figure raises his hand and aims at the guards, then decides to have a bit of fun as he leaps into the group, swinging his fists into the crowd, breaking body armor as the sound of bones breaking is repeatedly heard along with gunshots. The figure grabs a guard and swings his fist into the guards shoulder, grabbing the joint and socket, pulling them both away from the body and using the arm to hit others away before stomping on the guards head. He looks at the arm as a few get some shots on his head, making him growl as the shots make his mask separate and fold up behind his ear. A still expression is on his face before he smirks, showing sharp teeth before the mask goes over his head and face, his eyes ablazened through the mask as he rushes the guards. He snarls softly as one jabs him with a knife and he just uses it to slice the next guard with insane proficiency and the guard staggers, soon collapsing. After a few minutes of battle the figure turns and looks at the boss through the tinted windows and points at him. Causing the boss to gasp and stagger back, shaking as he had seen what this thing did to his men. As he backs up the figure disappears in a blur, making the boss look around as he soon is immobilized by fear as he hears his door beep open and close. The soft footsteps come closer as the figure looks out the window with him, putting his arm over his shoulder as if they're old friends.* "So, what are we looking at? Seems you hired the wrong help, or just chose the wrong profession" *The figures voice sends shivers through the bosses body as its a deep, commanding and powerful voice, yet is also charming yet in this case cold and terrifying. As he looks at the figure his eyes widen as the figure moves and looks at him, chuckling softly before grabbing his neck and squeezing, then he throws the boss to the ground and begins to pummel the bosses body with blazing strikes, hitting the muscle groups then striking his joints, then the ligaments, the pain searing through his body as its systematically broken. The figure strikes one more time, this one sending tremors through the body of the boss as it gives out, his eyes bulging and his body broken and bloodied as his whole body has sustained extreme trauma to everything. Wiping off his gloves he makes his way to the cells, freeing them all from the back, so they didn't see any of the carnage. One of the prisoners thanks him before running off as he soon cleans himself off, walking away and blending in with the city as the warehouse is left behind. He pulls his hood up over his head as the mask separates from his eyes, his hair covering the left one as he looks around and calms himself, chuckling softly as he had let loose a bit, stretching softly. The figure looks around and relaxes as he walks and hums a soft tune, his mind relaxing from the event and soon goes along his day. However one of the people from the warehouse, one of the ones he freed was following him, curious about him.*
(A bit of a longer one but I figured it'd be nice. If the next Playlist fits then I'll continue this story^^ other than that if someone wants I am doing commissions for stories like this, albeit I can be a bit more graphic. ^thunk thunk^ two loud knocks shake the door to the back of the van. ^crack^ a red glowstick fills the vans interior, men donned in gasmasks look at each other , all that was shared was a nod. the back of the van opened into a dark alleyway. the man who knocked was handed cash as men piled out with rifles. soon as he was paid, the man rushed from the scene. he made his cash, why stick around. the men each grabbed there own duffle bag, and snuck inside a cracked open door. to their quick relief the man they paid came through, and successfully disabled the security systems outside. they wasted no time to share a small cheer however, as they had a job to do. they made there way through winding halls and dodging cams. they came across the security room, guards inside as one would suspect. not that they couldn't deal with it. they planned for this. its going exactly how they wanted. one of the crew mates located a small ventilation shaft leading to the room, and chucked teargas into it. they watched as everyone panicked and tried to escape through the door. as soon as the door opened they were shoved back in as all members of the crew pushed inside and slammed the door closed. using their masks to their advantage. after securing everyone and their phones, another two members pulled out multiple masks, and helped attach them to the guards and any workers they caught.
