when i was a yooung boy way back in the early 60's my neighbours were teenagers and they absolutely loved mary wells. i think mary appealed to teenage girls. they seemed to be able to relate to her lyrics. plus many of her songs were very danceable. i loved that about mary and motown in general. great memories.
when I was a young man I had a 64 impala & I nick name it yup you guessed it.. and when I spent time in dah joint she would croon me before sleep now I cruise my 63 chevy or my big rig across states listening to her... at least 25 yrs.now and she's still in my life...mmmuuuaaahhh!!!!! Mary
