  • Travelling Australia Series Ep 14 - Tasmania
On this episode we travel to Smithton and base our camp at the Tall Timbers RV stop which is incredible (Details available on Wikicamps Australia App).
From here we explore the Infamous Volcanic plug known as The Nut in Stanley and go on the most incredible chairlift to the top.
We also drive through an amazing ancient rainforest on the Tarkine Drive in the Trowutta, Milkshake Hills and Lake Chisolm Forest Reserves. This definately is some of the most amazing scenery we have ever seen.
We take you to the highlight of the Drive which is the Trowutta Arch and the most amazing rainforest walk and sinkhole.
We take the drive right out to the Wild West region of Arthur River exploring the Arthur-Pieman Conservation area and see The Edge Of The World.
This drive seriously blew our mind.
This is definitely one you won't want to miss if you love rainforests, scenic mountain views and wild coastlines.
We really hope you enjoy this one and appreciate the support.

That part of Tassie is very reminiscent of the north of Vancouver Island ( minus bears moose, orca etc!)

FYI. The trees wash down the river and not in from the sea. From a local. Good video. Thanks
