Nice to hear from one of the Mum's and it's a story that I've heard many, many times from now successful players. Few know just how much work and sacrifice is put in to get to the top (10,000 hrs). It's gonna be a toughie against England and I hope the Matilda's do it. 🤞

Australia to edge it, they are home favorites, its a big motivator . England have done well with limited players, but key players, captain williamson, beth mead and james all top players missing , Hemp and Russo are good but england are firing on two when they need four cylinders??

@@brontewcatI'd love it if that were wholly true. You might be right but there's a lot of overlap between best players and best team unfortunately. Aaand then there's the fact they're playing this particular sport, which to me tends to give considerably worse teams an unacceptably high chance of winning. Anyway, I'm worried - but fingers crossed!
@@Simmo87 It is a bit of a slogan to say a champion team will beat a team of champions, and you are right you do need very good players in your team. There are quite a few factors. Mackenzie Arnold said she thought the crowd was almost a 12th player.
I am very happy to see the crowds turning out, even the recent non Australian games seem to have been drawing good crowds. This is so good for women’s sport. Even if Australia loses tonight, I believe the final is sold out.
