The Nice Little Town books are some of my favorites! I really love the Nice Little Town 13 and hopefully I can get it soon! My hubby just bought me a brand new set of Prismacolor pencils and 2 Johanna Basford coloring books, and my birthday is coming up before long, so I will wait until my birthday to ask for anything else!

I loved a lot of your coloring however if I had to pick a favorite book you colored the best to me is Neko Neko tied with Kinoko Engusa . You really do whimsical animals in clothing. Second would be Circle of Life or Nature mandala the giant BEE page was beautiful

I think you would enjoy the Prismacolor pencils, but it's just whatever fits your own unique style! I know that people say they're not good for doing a lot of small details because they're so soft that they don't keep a sharp point for very long, but I've been using mine to color in Worlds of Wonder and Rooms of Wonder and I love them! At first I had bought a set of 120 Castle Arts soft touch pencils but I wasn't very happy with them so my hubby bought me a set of 150 Prismacolor pencils and I can tell a big difference! I think Prismacolor is a great option for those who want a nice set that is more affordable than some other brands, such as Caran d'Ache. Many people say the Prismacolor pencils are much softer but I think the difference is wax based vs oil based, and also how hard the wood is that the pencils are made of. Honestly, I'd love to have a set of each type/brand of colored pencils because where one is lacking, the other makes up for! In my opinion, a nice set of at least 72 pencils(or somewhere close to that) and some neocolor II or distress ink, or something that can be used to fill in backgrounds is a must! When I first got into adult coloring, coloring backgrounds was eating up my colored pencils so fast! Now I don't color my background unless I have water soluble crayons or something to fill up the background!
Yes, I have heard and I see lots of people love the Prismacolor pencils. They are just not as easy to get open stock in the UK and so I have never considered trying them out. Also, my style of colouring is all about layering which is very different from how one would colour with prismacolors. But it is worth a try one day for sure! Agreed, you definitely need something for background when you start off.....all pencil backgrounds need a lot of patience and a lot of time 😂 I had my ADs and soft pastels too at the start of my colouring journey, which was always useful 🤗💗

Thank you! I think soft pastels are the easiest background medium to use…that was the first supply I used for backgrounds and still enjoy them (although messy). They erase very easily, so if you happen to go over line art you can erase it. And if you have already laid down pencil, the pencil should resist the soft pastels. Hope this helps 🤗💗

So I picked is tiny image to try your style. Could you possibly do a How you use white of paper to enhance your coloring ? I always end up coloring layer after layer every thing full color and dark . I like how you make things look 3D ❤

Beautiful pictures your so talented. You mention tooliart paint pens alot I was wondering what color set you used they have neon, jewel tones, metallic and I would like to get them.

Thank you so much 🤗💗 Yes I only use Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils. The only other sets I won are Castle Arts and Black Widows, but I barely ever touch them 🤗💗
Thank you! I have never kept an eye on how many hours it takes me.....but it varies a lot depending on the page I am colouring. I should probably try and count the hours sometime!! 🤗💗

@@gtatianal Generally I would say no - unless it was a very simple page such as match stick mouse illustration, a simple postcard size illustration etc. It would definitely take me more than a couple of hours still - more like 8+ hours
