Jones isn't holding up a division. The division can keep fighting. Jones made his legacy and now only wants big money fights because he doesn't have to fight anymore... UFC doesn't pay top fighters like what they should and the only way someone like Jones can demand a certain amount of money is if it's a super fight that will bring in the money. If Aspinall wants to fight Jones, he would've defended that belt already with a quick turn around defense to cause a stir... He won Ann empty belt and then wanted to unify it... Only true casuals don't understand because they have the attention span of a mosquito.

13:05 - not really the same, from female to male it would change attributes and fighting style, whereas a male at a bigger size would fight the same way. Also you can compare if someone fought tougher competition in their weight class compared to someone else at a different weight class.
I guess you haven't heard of gravity.
Smaller men can do flips, far more push ups, chin ups and many other things, thanks to having a smaller body mass and being less affected by gravity. So no, a smaller man wouldn't move the same and fight the same if he transformed into a heavyweight, sorry.

Tom was pointing out the ridiculousness that is the p4p argument. The argument is that you can somehow determine who the best overall fighter is in the hypothetical scenario where every fighter weighs the same. And the usual method of determining this is basing it on a fighter's resume and skill level(to a lesser extent). So Alexandre Pantoja would beat Tom Aspinall if they were the same weight. The guy who takes 10 punches to land one in a division with no punchers and is below average for his weight class in terms of mobility, if he were taller and heavier, he'd destroy all the HWs!! It's not a well thought out argument the way I see it. And to your point males at a bigger size fight very differently to those at a smaller fight. Take the pantoja example. He has a style that's not known for having any success at HW. That's true for a lot of smaller weight class greats.

People forget that Blaydes technically knocked out Tom due to a checked kick. Tom is so focused on Jones that he's forgetting he has a killer in front of him. Thiago Santos went 5 rounds with Jones with a fully torn ACL, MCL, and PCL. Interesting how Tom sort of just quit with much lesser injuries. I think Tom is good when he's leading the dance but I question his mental fortitude if/when he has to dig deep.
