- It is becoming increasingly frustrating for homeowners trying to find affordable property insurance, and now some Floridians are getting unwanted news telling them Nationwide Insurance will not be renewing their home insurance policy. "Our existing insurance company dropped us and we needed to get new insurance," said Larry Sosa. All year we’ve heard from many of you about the frustrations you’ve faced with insurance.
Can’t believe California and Florida governor debate didn’t have one question
I had my car insurance with Nationwide and I got a notice that they weren't renewing my policy. I was sad, but I actually got a little better price with AAA, so it worked out.
I guess nation wide is not on your side 😂
Well I mean do you want to run a business where 79 percent of all the lawsuits against your business occur in that state? That would be like trying to open up a real estate business in New York right now😂
Blessings and cheaper home insurance for all Floridians
I had Citizens send a property inspector to take pics of my place. Come to find out via news reports the company used was named Sutton and they're a Georgia based. They are not regestered in Florida to do business here and their inspectors are not licensed in Florida to conduct inspections. The guy who came to my property gigged me on having an empty fuel tank, one i couldn't find no matter how hard i looked. Turned out he was referring to the propane tank servicing my home. He could've tell the difference between an in service propane tank and one that wasn't. I had to call my agent about it and had to tell him that I was under service contract from Amerigas. I then informed my agent that the people doing the "inspections" were not regestered or licensed to do so and referred him to the news reports concerning it. He of course was unaware of this discrepancy. Yeah, right.
next step look for new insurance! then when they bail repeat!
The really sad thing about this is that the people who live in north central Florida, who
have never filed one insurance claim, are also getting dropped or facing
huge increases in their premiums as well. And, of course our
governor is more interested in fighting 'woke-ism' and campaigning
for a possible presidential nomination then actually doing his job as
governor of Florida to fix the situation. I unfortunately ended up in
Florida due to my job. But, I tell anyone thinking of moving to Florida,
"DON"T"!!!!!!!!!!!. Florida is a horribly run state with more
hidden financial 'gotchas' then any other place I have ever lived
in the USA or abroad. Yea, no state income tax but wait till
you see the property taxes, insurance rates, sales tax as well
as other fees. And the roads are so horrible you take your life
in your hands every time you drive anywhere. The bad roads also
shorten the life of your car unless you drive something
like an M1 Abrams.
Insurance companies should set a maximum allowable cost/sq. ft of roof.
Florida Man dun need insurances!
Well Damn look at the size of some of these homes they are showing.....
I'll just pay mine off and keep fire insurance only.
Can you pay mines please
Hey Florida…talk to your governor..I’m sure he’ll help
😂
I’ve lived in Florida for most of my life 😂 and I can tell you , our governor does not care. If he did , he would have put the entire state in a state of housing-emergency.
But he has been busy playing golf on his simulator and fighting Disney
yep, he will say insurance is woke and not needed! great help!
@@alejandroguerra6755 The governor has no control over insurance premiums. He's doing other great things like keeping the criminal illegals out of our state!
But everyone got a free roof.
