I appreciate the hot glue alerts just as much as I appreciate the welding flash blurs that the more responsible crafting channels provide. Thanks for that. Gotta say, though, watching people use hot glue only hurts when they're doing it wrong, when that is the worst possible choice, and when they fail to clear away the sloppy strings during touch-ups. You actually use it well, and while the warnings do help to soften the blow of seeing it, it really doesn't even hurt that bad. Kudos to ya.
Ok, so far I jave only watched the intro and I just feel the urge to tell yoi that I looooove it so much. It was a pleasure to watch the AI art and listen to the story you told about... doors. Thanks!
Hey Rebel Base Builds...new subscriber here! I just came across your site and loved this build. Too bad I missed the door challenge. A few years ago my kids started buying me the 6" Black Series figures (started with a First Order Stormtrooper and a Death Trooper) and the group has now expanded over the years to include Shoretroopers, a Biker Scout and his speeder bike (several of these are model kits), Boba Fett, Mando, the Heavy Mandalorian, Kylo Ren, and a bunch of other stormtroopers. So, I decided I wanted to have these guys at my office where I could enjoy them more. Hence, I created a diorama for them. I wanted to make something along the lines of Starkiller Base so I looked up some reference photos and built a foam core hallway, some steps, and a couple of doors. One that is closed leads to other hallways, while the big "blast doors" lead to the icy exterior. I would love to attach photos but I don't know how to do that here. Thanks again for your channel! I learned something new on this one and will be trying to remember to write it down so I can use it on my current diorama! Blessings to you! - Dave
Great video R.B.B. i think u would make a amazing Navarro cantina. With the mane table with a carl weathers r.i.p sitting down and of course the doors you do amazing work cant wait to see whats next 🍻 mate!!!
Just a heads up you might want to try a silicone baking mat for under the pigment step it’s much easier to gather and dump the excess pigment back into the jar
David Attenborough does doors 😂 you should have done this at the start of the challenge! I would have put more thought into it 😬 Fantastic video and build 👏👏👏💪
Sometimes I spray with a lacquer afterwards but since they don't get played with once built I tend to just leave the powder in there on its own and it's fine!
I find the slight tackyness of the resin prints theblgiments stick easily and yes I'm literally using it on foam in this and some of my other videos 👊. Thanks for watching
@RebelBaseBuilds do you have a link for these pigments for us buyers? I asked vout the foam, beaches you're us8ng a different type. And when it comes to exterior insulation, yours over there is slightly different than ours. I don't think you're using exterior insulation in this video though. And yes, you're welcome . I enjoy dio bu8lding videos. It's fun to see others ideas and techniques and materials.

Loving all the detail on your builds. Everyone that took the challenge did great. Shows I really need to slow down on my stuff and not cut corners.
You did great man!

Great work James!
Appreciate you checking out my vid! Thanks
I wish your videos were longer with more of a focus on the actual craft you do. I love it so much
Firstly thanks for watching and that's great feedback! So you mean show more of the raw build rather than the presentation style?
@@RebelBaseBuilds exactly! I'd love to see the processes you use to create the actual individual elements
Very nice
Thanks
This is so cool
Awesome build yet again 💯🫶
Thanks 🤘🏼

Will the color powder (Minerals) stick on the model by itselfe or do you have to mix it with some kind of liquid glue?
Sometimes I spray with a lacquer afterwards but since they don't get played with once built I tend to just leave the powder in there on its own and it's fine!
How does them pigments adhere to the plastic? And do they work on foam? I use exterior insulation foam here innthe us.

Looking great.
I'm a little disappointed you didn't go for the "Doorama" pun.
Now dayum. What a missed opportunity
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!
👌👌👌
👊
Cool build James! What is your in-universe door leading to? a cantina or a workshop? on a side note, that 1 dude painted K2SO as Deadpool💀😂👌🏽
Haha thanks and what a great question.. probably a high security storage area with all of my hot glue sticks 😂😂😃
Awesome diorama and amazing detail!! Did you find your glue gun 😂!!
Thanks!! Hahaha it's always close by LOL
great shit
bit like Gamey Build
Thank you. That's a great compliment love his stuff!
Minus the emotional support droid it would be perfect.
BD? I guess he's the only thing that I didn't model if that's what you mean? Thanks for the view and feedback :)
This build hurts my teeth
Hahaha nice 😂😀
The AI at the beginning isn't super cool to include but I'm glad that you labeled it at least :/
Ok
i was looking forward to the video, then saw the AI at the start. :\ That's a nope from me.
That's a shame, the rest of the video was pure human creation. Didn't mean to offend.
