The most exciting part happened in the last 20 minutes of the movie. Chen Li suddenly committed suicide. The others who were scared by Chen Li's evil scenes before, but they couldn't escape from the old house because of repeated accidents.

I do have some questions regarding the ending though. *spoilers for people who haven't seen it*
How did Liu Meng end up surviving after getting caught? Was she possessed at the end of the movie?
1:44:03 Liu Meng instinctively called "Mom" in despair, that "Mom" recalled the humanity of Chen LI and Da Qing, and they rescued Liu Meng from the trap.
After Liu Meng heard the chat between Ding Xin and his friends, she found that Ding Xin was unwilling to admit reality, and would rather believe that Liu Meng was caught by the ghost, so as to make his heart feel better.
So afterward, she didn't go in at the door. She probably felt that Ding Xin didn't dare to face her at all.
If this reqlly is 2016 Zhong Xie then I am really thankful for the upload, I was looking for it and found it here. Saved it to watch after midnight and scare myself to shit😁

Ding couldn't break the trap, so he cried and ran away. In his opinion, Liu must have been killed by those siblings.
1:44:03 Liu Meng instinctively called "Mom" in despair, it is for this reason the siblings didn't kill her, that "Mom" recalled the humanity of Chen LI and Da Qing, because the siblings avenged their mother.
In the end, Liu Meng went to visit Ding Xin, who was already nervous and gave him the video of that night.
