I love the ticking and the violins. It’s my favorite type of music but I don’t think it has a specific genre. I just love the ticks and suspense and the violin’s dramatic emotional expression.

Used many parts of this for the final session of my DnD campaign (Descent into Avernus), and I have to say, it literally and metaphorically hits all the right notes
For those first two songs I close my eyes and I imagine what it must've been like for Chuck Jeager on the day he became the first human to break the sound barrier. sitting in the cockpit of his bright orange aircraft feeling the souls of the many pilots that came before him, the many test pilots that perished while perfecting jet aircraft, the brave pilots that fought and died over France in both world wars, all the way back to those two brothers who pioneered flight. The loud engines of the piggyback plane droned out by the emotions he was feeling, the feeling of the jet becoming unlatched, slowly drifting out the bay doors into the icy airflow, and finally feeling the jet engines thumping as they kicked in. The jet began to furiously shake and rattle as he quickly accelerated, quickly reaching 400 miles per hour. The sweat dripping down his face began fogging up his flight goggles, 500 miles per hour. Photographers on the ground furiously took pictures and film of the historic event unfolding in front of them, 600 miles per hour. The world held its breath as the orange comet came closer and closer to achieving a feat never before achieved, 650 miles per hour. Chuck looks at his shuddering speed gauge that reads 695 miles per hour, closing his eyes and bracing for what might come next. At that moment a deafening explosion is heard and the onlookers look away in disgust and horror. As they mustered up the courage to look again they prayed to see a silky white chute, instead what they saw left them all speechless. Chuck was taken off guard as the aircraft became eerily silent after the explosion that should've marked his end, he slowly opened his eyes and saw nothing but an inky blue sky stretching forever. Training quickly took over and he began scanning his instruments looking for anything that could explain what just happened, he was completely dumbfounded until his speed gauge caught his eye. It read 705 miles per hour, Chuck Yeager was officially the first person to travel faster than the speed of sound.
The way you described the smallest details in the story made it even more overwhelming. You can feel the fear of the main character as the music goes on. Well done
