Great review walking through of the machine, I love that it has a built in grinder and seems easy for making latte art. It looks like a great starter machine and a perfect Father's Day gift. My dad will get a new hobby, thanks to you. Thanks for the informative video!
I recently purchased the Ultima Cosa Espresso Maker, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. This machine is a perfect blend of elegance and functionality. The sleek design fits beautifully in my kitchen, and it’s incredibly easy to use.
Alright I'm giving this machine a try. And I agree that the espresso is a little watery for my taste so I adjusted the water volume as you mentioned. Better and getting there!
I bought this machine about 2 months ago for 100$ from a local “reviewer”. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. If you’re thinking about buying it, I’d recommend to pull the trigger and go for it.
Hi there! That's the Acaia Lunar scale ☕ You can watch my full review about it here: Acaia Lunar Espresso Scale: Should You Buy It? HONEST REVIEW ua-cam.com/video/PdfXtohfR2Y/v-deo.html
I completely understand! There’s a certain level of fines and granularity that you can only achieve with a high-quality, stand-alone grinder. This is why this machine is really meant to be entry-level/for beginners!
You're right, design wise it looks similar to a Breville. Using it is as simple as a Breville Barista Express, in my opinion, i.e.. single and double dosing for grinding and extracting - but the Ultima Cosa delivers at basically half the price!
Just got one but couldn’t dial it in if I follow the recommended grind range. Did you use the double wall basket or single to use with the recommended grind range?
I’ve always used the double basket! If you can’t get good results within the recommended grind range, go finer for sure. Even to the finest, if need be! Another tactic that can help you out is overdosing your portafilter a little bit to apply that extra resistance in the puck. So, say you’d usually grind 18g, try 20g instead and see if it helps! Please remember that the roast level of the beans also plays a factor! So maybe if you’re using lighter roasted beans, you’d have to grind finer to obtain the same results you would with a medium-dark roast. Let me know if this works! ☺️☕️
Great video!!! Budget espresso is always something I love. Attainable coffee is always good coffee 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽☕️😉

Couldn't agree more! Thank you for sharing ❤
What do I do if the pressure gauge is still in the gray? When you pull out port filter, should it be watery?
Wow, that is a good price... The extraction looks great too! Thanks for the helpful review!
It really is! I'm glad it was helpful ☺

That builtin grinder would be my biggest issue! I cannot create great coffee without a good grinder and that doesn't cut it.

Looks like a Breville machine, how’s the user experience compare to Breville?

And with 58mm portafilter, if that matters to you.

@@lizhappybeans I’ve been grinding the beans on 4 with single wall with 18gr coffee. Taste kinda bitter but if I move the grind to 5 than it’s sour
great video!
Thank you!
