As a lifelong Bucs fan, Evans is my favorite guy on the team. Didn't like him because of "johnny football", but after we drafted him, I realized he was a classy dude who was making a lot of those plays happen back at A&M. It's great getting to see him play with a HoF QB now. After the guys he's been with, he deserves it.

My only hope is that the people around him have the sense to steer clear and remove vulnerable people away from his orbit so that he doesn't end up committing some kind of atrocity against someone like a kid or something... As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, I tried to tell ppl for years CTE is real. And for those that doubted my words when we had him doing this erratic behavior then what’s the excuse now?? I mean yes he’s a true character, but if any of you remember the game a few years back when Vontaze Burfict targeted his head when he was going for a catch in a screen pass situation. But only to miss the catch and then get laid out should know Brown wasn’t anywhere near the psycho he was after “this” hit. It’s a shame for him to throw his career away in this manner, but again CTE is clearly a major reason to his antics.

Thanks. That is being part of the solution, identifying the problem, and not furthering it. First step. Second step is being willing to accept help if there is any. Third is accepting it. The AA model works for everything. There are some who don't believe. I am not one of them. But they exist, or pretend they aren't afraid & can't be helped too. I hope AB is now humble in light of his actions, or the helpers check him out to receive that help, whatever it may be. A scan & quality people to talk to, to start. His kids, maybe. That'll help him.

Vontaze Burfict is under county supervision as we speak. His victims need to be as well, for similar, yet different reasons. We all need help, especially those crying out for it.
He was already a “character” but went completely off the rails after that hit. I believe it definitely changed him. He needs help because I would not be surprised if we hear about him dying in an overdose of some kind or suicide.

I assume people have offered him help before and he refused. Even with CTE, you can’t force him to get help if he doesn’t want it. That also doesn’t excuse him from the things he’s done, because hes responsible for himself at that point.
