@@timothynguyennTesla has cornered the market with their charging infrastructure. Safety? Nah mane 😂 The Mach-E outperformed the Model Y on IIHS Safety Ratings “Of all the vehicles tested, the Mustang Mach-E was the only car to gain the top rating across all eleven categories. The Model Y received top marks in ten categories, including the overall rating, but only received an “Acceptable” grade in the category of rear passenger restraints and kinetics” Charging aside… The Mach-E is the BETTER car.
I'm guessing it will ride much better with the MagneRide Damping System, so I know I will want the GT performance edition if I ever decide to buy this car.
Good overview, my wife has a 22 in dark matter gray with blue cruise, and preferred the interior over the performance edition. The car is great, well built, and looks much better than the Model Y, and yeah the speed is more than adequate for most daily driving situations!
Idk. I get that the GTP seats are kinda “unique” looking compared to the standard GT but the bolstering is more comfortable, the MagnaRide makes the ride MUCH much more comfortable, the wider stock rims design look better, the tires are better, the Brembo brakes are better, the extra 35 lbs of torque barely noticeable but still BETTER. Personally, I couldn’t go ALMOST fully loaded but I understand why someone else might. 6k isn’t exactly peanuts…
@@THEDOPEGAME All valid points... for us, mostly the wife as she drives the GT more than me preferred the interior over the GTP, tried to convince her on the magnaride but she wasn't having it lol. I do think the magnaride alone is worth the upgrade. The GT does also get brembo's that are 4 piston not 6 and minus the logo, which is odd, but still very good stopping capability. I also prefer the wheels on the GTP. Anyway, whatever she's happy with it. 😃😃
You stated you’re seeing 280 mile range. Is that from 100% down to single digits battery charge? Have you found any drive mode better for range? I’ve seen one vlog review where the driver used 2kw less per 100km using Engage than using Whisper. My wife just bought a 23 GT. Hopefully this will be a nice car. So far it’s traveled 15 miles😎 but she says it rides a nice as her former Lexus RH450H.
Real world range I get around 250-260, but it definitely gets worse in the winter. Tesla in the cold weather for the win haha. But yeah, 23 GT is def an upgrade!
Huh that’s weird I have non performance too I’m kicking like a crazy person out of frustration at this point ahaha it has the option to kick to open but doesn’t work
@@timothynguyenn Oh okay. Makes sense. I was wondering if you ordered it without the glass for a particular reason. And you replaced the standard GT wheels with the Performance wheels?
Just had a 24 hour test of one of these. Short answer is it’s not as good as a 2015 model S. only positive is it charges faster to 80% by 20 mins, however I’m sure a same age Tesla would be even faster.
It is built better than Tesla, no doubt.
It's okay, Tesla is still ahead with the charging network and safety, hence why they adopted tesla's charging network.
No blue cruise?
@@grtstretchinsky1 ?
@@grtstretchinsky1 Unfortunately no, this does not have that package.

Trust me, without the MagneRide it is REALLY bumpy.

Have you noticed any delay in the throttle/accelerator? I noticed there is some delay compared to my Tesla.
@@timothynguyenn Not at all, the GT is super quick with instant torque.

Oh thanks for the video. How is the music compare to Tesla music.
Sound system is not as good sounding as Tesla Premium Audio, however it’s better sounding than Tesla Base Audio
Oh thanks that was helpful.
How did you set up kick to open tailgate?
In settings under doors. However I don’t think Premiums have it, my friend has a Premium and for some reason it doesn’t have it.
