I play airsoft, I can ensure you that the Airsoft rifle would be no more than 50$. They also said in the title "AEG" when its a spring loaded rifle. A good rifle is 1: not flimsy, weak, nerf plastic. 2: Is a AEG or Gas Blowback (Snipers, Shotguns have exceptions).
So yeah, you could have gotten the same one for 20 - 70$ at Walmart.
Hi Matt I watched this channel the second it uploaded ever episode for years up in till Michael left, I took a break for a bit and I clicked on this and see woods 😱. For the Watch and Military part, we do it with very reflective ones, and simply to have an easier time checking the time with a gun in both hands and to simply protect it from physical damage
< From New Mexico and yes we are called "New Mexicans" in regards to Tanners question. Also as a pilot those lasers are crazy bright at night, have gotten a couple pointed at me during some night flights...can take up to 15 minutes for the spots / temporary blindness to fully go away...which is scary af while flying

The watch on the wrist is for when holding and aiming with a rifle. It makes it easy to time your breaths and see it, as well as while running easier to see the time than on the top of the wrist.

Just a side note…the reason people in the military wear watches upside down is so that when you’re holding your weapon…you can still read the time without having to move your arm. Every second counts and being able to know the time in a firefight or in a tactical situation is very important.
also, it does stop reflections ;D
About the watch being on the other side it's for holding their main rifle.
So they don't need to loose their grip on their weapon just to read the time
It's also for the speed of execution of movements and operations without loosing position
