- Debrecen is the capital of Hungary’s Northern Great Plain region. Its 2-towered, 19th-century Reformed Church sits on the expansive main square, Kossuth Tér. Nearby, the Museum of the Reformed College of Debrecen has exhibits on the history of the city and the college. The Déri Museum’s eclectic collection includes archaeological finds, centuries-old weapons, fine art, local craft displays and a chamber of wonders.
This city will always have special place in my heart ❤️ graduated from University of Debrecen

It’s the best city to study in for international students. The international office is very helpful never had any problems unsolved. I’d email them any issue and they’ll reply with a solution or walk there and they’ll welcome you. I heard bad stories about other universities in Hungary especially Budapest but this place is the best I can assure you

I visited Debrecen in june 2009 becouse it is where my father born in 1919 ,since my father and mother immigrated to Brasil where I was born I was really happy to see the place of my ancestors ,there is a shopping center beside the main Church and there my greatgrandfather called Patzelt had a flower shop so my father used to play around that Church , my father passed away last year he was almost 101 years old
I am planing to visit Hungary next year looking forward to it ! As strange as it seems I live in Japan now for 50 years that I am grateful for!

Szuper összeállítás!! Közel 10 évig éltem ebben a gyönyörű városban, jelenleg külföldön...Mindig is nagyon-de-nagyon fog hiányozni Debrecen, feledhetetlen! Sokkal jobban, mint az a település, ahol felnőttem...Egy hasonló, de hosszabb videót szívesen megnéznék!

Na erre vártam kedves John, hogy végre elkészüljön a városok sorozatában Debrecen videója is. Remek az időpontválasztás is. Jórészt kora reggeli nagyfényben fürdik az ébredező nagyváros. Nem csalódtam Önben NAGYSZERŰ LETT. Őszinte tisztelettel egy debreceni! Természetesen megosztom!

Many tourists don't go to any other cities besides Budapest. Debrecen is much cheaper to eat and lodge. The city has a long history. The eastern side of hungary can be reached from here easily.

@@sterianburghelea6567 First of all, by the time the hungarians arrived, dacia collapsed. Second of all, yeah a lot of transylvanian cities were built by romanians. But Debrecen has historically been hungarian. It was not built by the romanians.
