Here's a cool tip for koleda: she's actually probably the best stun-based anomaly applicator in the game, building up fire at an extremely high rate in bursts that dont require much field time. If you build her right, with Lucy's help, you can proc burn in 1 rotation, burning on Lucy's chain attack. This makes her good in anomoly based disorder teams, and crazy good with grace, who can build up shock remarkably fast on her own, and with shock and burn being the highest damaging elemental effects in the game over time, that DOT becomes a massive burst that's easily repeatable and clears content at a crazy rapid rate. And even if you dont have Grace, Piper works really well too and is easy to get. So try her out with an anomaly character as your main damage dealer

@@mayonesaw grace and koleda are in different factions so they won't trigger the passives together but if you're just starting out it'll be a fun comp. grace applies anomaly build up which is a status effect that does a lot of damage. the fact that you got both of their weapons too is huge fire. look up prydwen:zzz. thats a site where you can look up team builds and stuff

Koleda is amazing for stunning especially after using her ex special as it buffs up the stun on her main attacks. Koleda also has unique synergy with Ben as she gets new attacks when he’s in the party and she has her buff up. Together her and Ben are a brutal team that is very hard to kill and stuns like getting hit by a train. Edit: also since grace and Koleda are the same faction they’ll activate each other’s bonus passive so they are usable together if you don’t have other options.

I got Koleda from my first-50-pulls guarantee on the standard banner and I've been using her in my main team ever since. I even use Ben just to get the variant animations, but I literally didn't know about furnace fire until I watched this video. I did notice that her attack animations are different sometimes, but I chalked that up to Ben's teamwork being a bit inconsistent. And even though I'm pretty sure I've been unknowingly using her properly most of the time already, it's good to know what to look out for in the future. So, great video, thanks!
I got zhu yuan but i'm losing at 50:50 and i got koleda. At first i never thought she was very useful on zhu yuan's team and then i give it a try. Surprisingly she was the best option for stunner in zhu yuan's team because she give an instant huge amount of daze with her ex sp skill and it help me a lot in critical nodes
I've personally been using koleda with grace as a disorder into dps hybrid team, koleda can apply burn surprisingly fast, mine takes around 2 full ex strings to apply, with grace's massive anomoly prof and mastery you can proc disorder easily and still get the stun to immediately unleash everything with your dps of choice.
Jian was my first Wuwa pull and then I leaned in and poured all my dupes and selector into more of her then in ZZZ Koleda was my first S so this kinda made me chuckle.
Great guide. Especially appreciate the comparative-value dive with things like her Additional Ability and Ben synergy versus what you might gain from other characters by sacrificing either of these things. Not really a criticism but one thing I came to the video looking for that I haven't been able to find is the viability of an ER% 6th piece over Impact (ie. can she be built to spam Special EX like a maniac even if the individual Daze is lower?). It might still be too early in the game for such finicky math though.
I went a different direction with her focusing on Anomaly stats after Impact instead of Crit. She's not going to be a main damage dealer with hits, but can contribute greatly to getting Disorder to happen. I think Lycaon's engine is better on her than her own. It effectively turns into a nearly permanent 30% buff to both DMG and Daze, which is much stronger than her own 10-20% but just to Daze. You don't get the bonus off- stage energy regen, but I also am rarely not having Koleda on the field outside of chain attack burst windows, and I usually aim at getting Furnace Fire back off Defensive Assist, which is great with Lycaon's engine but doesn't benefit her own engine (that only works off landing her EX Special) at all.
I want to add my main team composition of Piper + Koleda + Lucy, all three of them get the core buff Piper (Faction with Lucy) + Koleda (Fire with lucy) Koleda's dodge counter apply so many pyros, Lucy buff also applies to everyone Your aim is "Burn", so if enemy got burn, especially if its broken (Usually by the end of Koleda's ex attack), switch to Piper, swing until assault disorder then assault again I dont have Grace, but I totally think Grace could be changed for Piper with the exact same gameplay

Koleda is the only S-Rank Standard Banner I’ve gotten so far, she’s C1. She’s an amazing stunner and glad I got her, but really wish I had gotten any of others than a dupe of her😅
I find that Koleda's 4th basic attack is really hard to play. You don't get a dodge counter in the middle of her 4th hit because you are invulnerable and you can be hit directly after landing in some instances. This makes it hard to know when to dodge, you either press dodge and don't get a dodge counter or your 4th hit in either or you get your 4th hit in and get hit afterwards. Her dodge counter is a bit better than her 4th hit at landing. Also doing 2 basic attacks then using exspecial does less daze than just using ex-special since you dont get the 200% daze from the "strike" part when doing the 2 basic attacks and only the explosion part. You can test this in VR Simulation vs guardian MK2 lv 70. Do just ex-special, then do 2 basic attacks then ex special
You get 235% daze from the "strike" part of her lv 7 exspecial, while only 43.8%+89.5% =133.3% from her first 2 basic attacks at lv 9. Her 2 basic attacks take longer than the "strike" so I only recommend using ex-special alone, or after 4th hit to save time.
the main point of having the two basic attacks is activating the shockstar disco passive, gaining energy, and eliminating the slow animation of the swing during her ex special. i do agree that her 4th hit is somewhat clumsy-feeling but if you're out of energy, there's not much more to do for stun than just continue the attack pattern you're already in (as you're midair)
@@pikakillah_8015 isn’t this assuming a rotation where you are only sitting on her when she is able to use her ex special? to be clear, I already did not believe her rotation to be very basic-attack heavy since you overstun against non bosses anyway, but I don’t think dumping your energy in one second will be better than doing a full rotation of her basics + ex special considering the anomaly, energy and stun progress you apply when completing it

I just upgraded my Koleda up to level 50, she has almost 2000 damage, and she somehow has 130% Crit Damage. (I don't know how or why) She has about 50% more Crit Damage than my Soldier 11, which has almost 90%, and I don't know how the heck I got it there. (My Soldier 11 has 2600 ATK at level 50)
I’ve felt like this for a while. Literally one combo or a ex special and it’s a combo switch lol. I run her with my grace and M6 Ben bc the team but also with M6 Nicole and Zhu. (Or Grace and Rina with Zhu if if feeling saucy lol)
I've been running Ellen, Koleda, Soukaku and loving the setup; I was also lucky enough to get Koleda's W-engine randomly along with maxing out Soukaku and getting her engine 3 times The stuns and buffs work so well in supporting Ellen~

Simple fact, why bring fire when Ether makes people punch each other and Ice freezes people in place? Simple, you don't. Hoyo needs to revisit fire and actually do something useful that is distinct from the other elements of the game.
Yea. I get people are all on ether and freeze. But thats literally only because the end game is almost exclusively weak to them. What happens when they resist instead? Youre broken units of today instantly become useless
In all honesty koleda feels the worst to play. I got her and Lycaon and Lycaon feels WAY better. Smooth like butter and fast. And even Anby feels better to play. The guide definitely gives some insight but i think ill just bench her for now until i learn how to play better. Her attack animations are weird and i can never tell if im in the 2nd or 3rd attack sequence. Dont care enough to practice.
I know you said you don't care, but for reference the 2nd attack is when she slams her hammer on the ground causing an explosion. That's your cue to use her EX.
Good but to send critics, your sentences and wordings hurt my logic. You should explain things for the better. Not just leave some statements hanging with no explanation. For example, i'm still confused as to why Koleda could use ATK% 5th disc. And you should not mention/"justify" things if the overall usage of that leads to the worse situation, like how you mentioned to use Ben if he is more invested. Just build the things you set on from the beginning and look no further. If you like Ben, use Ben. If it's about meta, move on and use Lucy. I gave my attention so please keep them in mind :)

There are actually, right below the health bar. Though oddly enough they’re only for effects that expire over time.

People truly be having a skill issue with Koleda and here I am destroying with her aping on the enemies. Her stuns and daze build up is bonkers.

@@cannaaaa Shockstar disco does not improve the ex-special daze only the basic attack daze. I think its only better once you get Koleda C1.

Good but to send critics, your sentences and wordings hurt my logic. You should explain things for the better. Not just leave some statements hanging with no explanation. For example, i'm still confused as to why Koleda could use ATK% 5th disc. And you should not mention/"justify" things if the overall usage of that leads to the worse situation, like how you mentioned to use Ben if he is more invested. Just build the things you set on from the beginning and look no further. If you like Ben, use Ben. If it's about meta, move on and use Lucy. I gave my attention so please keep them in mind :)
