This is a beautiful transition ... being transformed into who God desire you to be. Before I realized what the Lords was saying to me about the fake hair and make up I too bought some hair that was 100$ and when I finally put it in my hair .. it just wasn't right... I hated everything about it.. This was one of the confirmation the Lord used for me just being overall unsatisfied no matter what with it.
Broke down in tears after I read in the bible how God doesn't want His women to adorn themselves with outwardly attire. This was because I LOVE my hair but after looking at more scriptures and watching videos I realized that I depend on my hair WAY too much in order to feel beautiful. I'm hoping as I start this journey that I can grow in God's definition of beauty.

Did you see the word in the verse "Putting on dresses" that means that you shouldnt even wear dresses, so every woman who wearing a dress is committing a sin😳😳 Loving yourself isnt the sin ,is loving materialistic things that's the sin🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ because that means your idolising it. Loving yourself is next to cleanliness which is next to Godliness that's when you will rub cream, trim your hair and other stuff. Even in the bible it says that men shouldnt trim their hair🤦♂️, so does that mean ,men who cut their hair will go to Hell, NO the issue is that in those times, men who cut their hair or trim their beards and hair, was for the purpose of worshipping an idol that's why they made that law. If you love yourself you will strive to look modest and beautiful and not look like an unkept person ,will you say that spraying perfume is a sin🤷♂️, the issue is that we should always look clean and modest ,no matter how we do it, and whether a womna hair is uncovered or not won't send her to hell. You can aswell say that using makeup or cosmetics to make your dry skin to not be dry or cover up a defect is a sin, even shoes is adornment everything we put on our body is adornment so does that mean you will walk around without shoe🤦♂️. All this deeper life church ladies, living faith people are just preaching controversial messages that is causing division in church, look clean and modest in your appearance and not like an old unkept person, brush your teeth and your hair ,treat your skin for any eye sore areas and make yourself look clean, I don't understand why people will come and be pulling other ladies down, when they spend millions buying bags and other things and come to tell ladies that wearing a little makeup to cover your pimple is a sin and if you die on the spot you will go to hell. Just because you had a visions doesn't mean you understood it,people are asked by God to restrain from things becauee that is their deliverance from spirit of Jezebel or because it takes their attention away from God is all about your intention and WHY you do things. There are many women of God wearing all this things and still look very modest and not sexually perversive to men for sexual arousal , sexual attraction is different from sexual arousal that's why women in the early churches dressed to sexually arouse men,by uncovering their body and looking for the men attention and not God attention. That's why we should preach on modest dressing without placing sin on every little thing, the object or our outward appearance doesn't send us to hell but it's our worship of those things or the reason we do them to sexually arouse men or to look Good for a man to follow them in church is the issue and that's why they were asked to restrain from those things and not to be dependant on them, that's why we should look modest in our appearance like every regular girl. I was going to start getting into makeup and weave to try "change" my looks after I spent like 350 dollars, the Lord told me to throw it away. The convictions came so random. Your not alone.
I think i need God's direction on this topic. You see I grew up on church where they don't use jewelry, makeup, trousers or attachments. Now recently I've begin to actually use things like Nail polish, mascara, eyeliner and I actually noticed that I like jewelries like bracelet and necklace... I'm having second thoughts. Wigs weaves are a covering Some women who can only do sew in up to a certain point had no other choice but to align their hair an whole body where they have to braid it in the same patterns just to go out an about and they have to cover it or have their eargates covered with hair or long weave it's not a sin wearing weave but it's certain brands that could effect the image the body of christ. I have bleached my skin because I'm multicolored from the sun an then I had some trauma as a child because I was the brownie in the family it was explained to me love who I was but I didn't know how to unless I was around my cousins an as a baby I was caramel bronze an as I gained weight lost weight fluctuating i noticed my color again I just wanted my real skin complexion back
Thank you for sharing . So many people are blatantly lying on the Lord. Saying makeup is okay by him. Even my grandmother, before the internet, had an encounter with an angel who made it clear makeup and stuff is bad. She use to wear red nail polish . One night she went to bed and in a dream an angel appeared and rubbed her nails until the polish came off that she fell asleep with. She said when she woke up, the nail polish was off her nails. So it was VERY clear to her not to wear nail polish. She was paranoid, even growing up, she would say do not wear nail polish it is not good. She did not know why, but she said just do not wear it. This is before the internet letting people know the harmful effects of it … the Lord was very clear with her.
A few weeks ago, I was about to have a permanent eyebrow makeup, and I asked God to have the appointment canceled if He didn't want me to do it. It hasn't been canceled, I did it, and I really liked the result, that looked really natural. I wanted to do it mostly because my natural eyebrows had holes, because of too much hair removal for years. It looks so natural that it's almost unnoticeable. I believe that God is okay with us highlighting our natural beauty if it doesn't bring too much attention on us and let us feel prettier without falling into vanity. Otherwise, He would forbid any form of artistic creativity... ?
@@daisyg8384 there is nothing wrong with making yourself look better, but these chemicals are cancer causing. If you feel comfortable destroying your body that is your own business. He is not going to make cancer disappear if it develops due to this, you'll live with consequences and seek earthly medical advise. God is not saving anyone from suffering the consequences of their decision. So choose wisely in the future. Christianity is lying to people that God is going to help you solve the problems you created for yourself. He absolutely will not. He never once did that for anyone.
@@daisyg8384I had my eyebrows permanently done in April…very natural strokes. I thought about it for 5 years and never received any signs to not do it. Just recently I sense that God has been speaking to me about covering my head and I’ve had less of a desire to wear make up and false lashes.
God is so good, I had a similar experience. When I started to focus more on God, I just lost interest in makeup and doing my hair. I didn't realize I was doing my makeup because of my insecurity, but because I know God loves us unconditionally, I started loving myself unconditionally as well

I went all natural because of this reason! I asked God how to keep my hair and he said to leave it alone. I relaxed it anyway and got a bald spot years ago. Then I just grew it back and rock my Afro and leave it alone

Yeah unfortunately you got to be careful of who you tell people about the things you stop doing because they will try to sabotage things sometimes for bad reasons but sometimes because they are so accustomed to their ways and that everything they were raised up to believe now you are telling them that you're no longer following those ways. Especially family members. I learned not to tell them when I'm fasting and I will tell them that I don't eat pork, shrimp, crab or Lobster but I won't go into details on why because they will try to sabotage that. My mom kept trying to get me to eat pork again and to say it is good for me and then tell me that if I don't eat pork then I'll be malnutrition and I'll never be able to have a normal life. Meanwhile I ate a bunch of that stuff and I always felt weird after eating it. It's like I tried to tell her why it's bad and I even told her that I will respect what she eats but then when I asked for her to do the same for me she tries to overstep that boundary to try and get me to eat pork again instead of just respecting it. I can still eat chicken, beef, turkey and fish with scales and fins. I made the mistake of telling my mom that I was going to do a 24-hour fast and she said that if I do that, then she's going to tell my dad and tell him that I'm starving myself. The Bible says we are to guard our hearts. I'm glad there are UA-camrs like this woman who can talk to women where they feel like an outcast even by their own family and where she understands where you're coming from and basically tells you how to move forward. She's going to try to get me to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving and I just don't want to do it no more. She accused me of being a Muslim because I don't eat pork, I told her that I don't want to put decorations in my house and she called me Jewish. I am a Christian and the Bible says we are not take part of that and if he did want us to be a part of it he would have clearly said celebrate it. He said for us to have the Sabbath and to keep it holy which it is on the last day of the week, the seventh day on the week which is Saturday NOT SUNDAY. The Romans changed that on purpose. I am a Christian and I truly want a relationship with him and just because I want to break away from these Traditions such as celebrating halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas it doesn't mean I'm a different religion but I just know that he does not like those things. I can't even find a church that doesn't celebrate Christmas where I live and basically have to do virtual. It's such a lonely road but in some ways I feel happy about it and happy that I met people who actually understand and are trying to do the same thing. I had a woman I was friends with for years and now that I'm growing into this, I no longer want to do the same thing she's doing such as going to only the movies each time she wanted to hang out which it is not very cheap, and I just want to talk but it's always the movies and I'm tired of it. She stopped talking to me but I accepted it for what it is and I don't really care anymore that our friendship ended. I had another friend who I was friends with for probably a year or two but she started acting like talking to me was a burden and I eventually got tired of it so I don't have any interest to talk to her anymore. I made a new friend who is in the same path as I am and she even told me things that I didn't even know before. So I lost friends but then I gained some.

Hi Yes I am American. I was born again at the age of 24. It has not always been easy but the Holy Spirit is so comforting and I truly understand the glory that awaits me. Therefore I will continue to press on no matter what by praying and trusting God. The Lord is so amazing he will always send us help and reassurance. However, we must obey and not be proud or above correction. I am delighted that the Lord could use me to help another brother or sister in Christ. God bless you in your walk of faith.

I was never into makeup but I always dyed my hair and I had facial piercings. I chopped all my hair dye out and have been growing out my natural hair for 2 years. I also took out all my piercings and threw the jewelry away. God is so good and so patient. He truly does care about how we look and how we present ourselves. Just ask him and he will speak to you.
Yes the Lord is so patient with us and he delights in every detail of our lives.. Just think about it he knows the very number of hairs on our head ... that in itself tells how much he cares for us. Think about it, as humans we can date someone for 2yrs and they probably would not even know our eye or hair color. The love of the Father and the Son is just so beautiful beyond words and this world!

One time last week I wrote a comment and as I was going back to add to comment the clipped my hair and I couldn't find the comment to help the believer. Didn't make sense because several people commented on the post but what that individual was looking for at the age of 17 was a place of worship or someone to follow. God bless you Heather! This has indeed been a struggle for me as well, but I am willing to give up any and everything at the Lord's will. I shared this on the UA-cam platform because the Lord gave me permission to do so. However, this isn't the message I go about preaching the message is "Jesus" and how much I love him (because he 1st loved me) therefore I am willing to give my all to Him and for Him/ His kingdom. Just as I mentioned in the video at some point as I was deep in my walk with the Lord I was still blinded by the fact that wearing these thing were displeasing to the Father. I was not made aware of this until I began to pray "search my heart O' God, point out anything in me that offends you". So the truth of the matter is some people are ignorant (do not know better) and some deliberately refuses the truth. Pray for your sisters and the Lord will open their eyes in due season. Whenever, someone ask me or we get on the topic of why I no longer participate in these thing that is when I simply share my testimony. The Holy Spirit will lead you to whom you should speak to on the subject, when, and where.

Yes indeed sister! I totally understand your testimony. I wore hair extension for 10yr never being seen without them. To me this was one of the most difficult task I have had to do thus far. Oh but with GOD! and Christ Jesus! I am doing it. You are so correct the closer we walk with GOD He corrects us onto his perfect path. However, a lot of Christians don't understand this when dealing with their fellow bother or sister. We somehow think that everyone should been at the same pace. The truth is as long as we are on this earth we still need work and have not arrived. Therefore we should continue to press in to GOD and continue to grow in His Spirit.
Ever since I started drawing my eyebrows about 5 years ago I have felt uneasy about it. I hate it. When I do it right it does make me look much better. But most of the time I am just embarrassed. I don't think I have the courage to stop, but God knows how bad I want to. Thank you for the encouragement.
I understand you completely I didn’t think I would have the courage to stop painting my eyebrows. I only recently started because my eyebrows were greying. Once I stopped and went out in public with my grey eyebrows I felt good because I was no longer hiding behind makeup and not just eyebrows but eye makeup too. It's interesting you mention this bc God told someone else when the dress code in schools no longer required young women/girls to wear skirts was the start of when we became confused and that's why there's all the gender non-binary/trans confusion
One thing the LORD has been dealing with me on personally is wearing modest skrits. Perferably longer skirts. I know it's not for everyone, but He showed me it is FOR Me. I am happy when He reminds me of this. We each have our own walk, and it looks different on different sisters, but I will work out my own salvation as I hear God tell me to do personally. He is so good.
I totally support your choice, you are a beautiful lady without makeup, wigs or lashes. In all my relationships with women I have always encouraged my exes to embrace their natural beauty providing all the love and support they needed to stay confident. Personality is the most beautiful thing in a person.
I heard in my spirit a while now to stay as natural as possible. God is God is Holy and we must adorn ourselves. So far i've received convictions for tight clothing anything that expose my body and anything above my knees. And sitting with my legs open even tho in jeans. Yup God is Holy. Our private shouldn't be printing through our clothing male or female. God is amazing. We must not cause another to lust or lose focus. It is important to pay attention to convictions and ask God about whats right and wrong
I bet this was really hard to put out there. Especially as a black woman because it has become a go to for so many women. We are all so beautiful without these fake enhances. Talking about hair and makeup and lashes. There is even more now, body modification and gender switching. I don’t wear makeup and I try to dress conservatively. It is a process sister. The Lord will help you. He wants us to see ourselves as He sees us. We are called to stand out not in the world's standard. I went through a tough 2yrs after I obeyed the Lord in this matter. But I can tell you now I am much better and walking with the confidence of the Holy Spirit. Hi thank you for sharing what the Lord told you about weave and makeup. To be honest, I also didn’t wear a face full of makeup not because I didn’t want to but because I’m acne prone so I’ve just been doing my skincare trying to get my face in order. I did wear my eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.The only time I wore weave was to braid me and my daughter’s hair which was here and there I was trying to learn and practice. I’ve been seeing a lot of ladies make changes not only in their hair or makeup but ladies are also changing their wardrobe. So, I was encouraged to not only stop wearing the makeup but to throw out my pants and non modest clothing. I have a shipment of dresses and skirts coming. I’ve been asking the Lord for truth in all this that I’m hearing from others but what I heard while making breakfast was I wasn’t ready to receive what He had to tell me but be patient. Then I was told to work on my inner self before my outward appearance. I too wanted to know what would prevent me from being taken in the rapture but I guess I’m not ready He knows me better than I know myself. Or maybe I didn’t ask the right question, I will take your advice and specify. God bless you on your walk with the Lord.

Yes, our inner man is most important we have to be transformed on the inside before the outside otherwise we would be just like the Pharisees. The Lord did not give me the instructions to give up weave and makeup until 6yrs after I was born again. John 16:12 KJV [12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. The Holy Spirit knows the right time to give us revelations
This is true the Lord processed me too even down to my dressing (no pants) Deut 22:5, 1 Timothy2: 8-10 , jewlery and accessory including my hair I use to always process my hair, perm and the Lord told me to wear it natural which I now do. I had to learn how to deal with my natural hair lots of tips on youtube rice water aloe vera etc. He is cleaning and purifying His Bride ready for his immenant return and is coming for a REMANT not masses.
Yes the Lord is very intimate with each of His children on a personal one on one relationship. He delights in every part of our being. He deals with us at His perfect time according to His perfect will (unlike man). I rather have the Lord's correction over the ways of man. Jesus died and gave us access to the Father through fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We need to listen and answer to His voice only while continually praying for discernment.

i was unaware of this for a long time, and i recently found out that it was bad to braid or wear artificial hair, i was unsure and i had to check the bible for conformation. despite this, a few days after my dad asked me to braid is hair, (which was what i did before i knew it was an abomination), the bible mentioned to honor your mother and father but i was scared because i knew it was wrong but decided to do it anyway, and i did it a few days after that as well. and now with all the information that i have gathered I’m just so scared in a way, now i feel as if i may not be forgiven and I’m just scared at the moment, and it has had an affect on me mentally for about a week now, im also stressing bc i have school in less than 2 weeks and dont know what to do with my hair. i am very young and still attempting to do everything i can to please god, I’ve just been afraid and worried that maybe god didn’t forgive me, and its on my mind everyday, and I’ve just been sad, worried, and in fear.
The best way is to also tell your mom or dad how you feel about braiding. So you wont feel like you're being disobedient when you respectfully say you can't braid their hair because it doesn't not plaid God. And pray to God for forgiveness
Sisters let’s not forget about jewelry and we should dress with modesty jeans/pants are not good, women should not wear a man clothing same as men at least wear a long shirt down the knee with it or a skirt on top in the winter and I’m working on it I myself, the kingdom of God is so precious, let’s not lose your souls because of this worldly vanity stuff.. I believe most men do not like women that wear fake hair, heavy makeup, fake eyelashes, or anything that is fake. Black women should be proud of their hair because you don't have to wash it every day because of smell or worry about lice or any other critters that want to live in your hair. Think about it. Your hair is so strong and powerful that you can do anything with it, and it truly is a gift from our Father, our Creator.
After hearing how often women miss heaven and end up in hell because of adornments I gave up wigs, make up, eyelashes, jewelry (including the little earpiece put on women when they are babies) nail polish. Etc I’m trying to change my wardrobe and get rid of pants. I do have a couple wigs somewhere but I pray I can get rid of everything. 99% of time I’m natural now

I don't care if I can go the rest of my life without makeup and I don't need any wigs or weave because I have my own curly natural hair. I am half Hispanic and half white so I am mixed. I do wear earrings but that's as far as I go with jewelry and even headbands. It started with me stop wearing foundation and then with me just wearing mascara but now I don't really wear makeup all that much and if I do it is on special occasions. I rarely even straighten my hair. I don't wear nail polish either. I prefer myself in a natural state because we were born natural and we will die natural. I even threw away my eyeshadow kit that I bought a couple years ago. I would prefer to be natural most of the time. The conviction is real and now I'm trying to work on starting to wear dresses more but of course the modest ones! My mom is in her mid-60s and she still wears makeup and recently started wearing fake eyelashes. She had natural curly hair like me but over time because she kept straightening it and it is now wavy. Having all of that makeup on you it's not healthy for you to begin with and especially 24/7. I wish she could see herself beautiful in her natural state but sadly she doesn't see herself in that way as she always wants to cover up and make up every single day. She tries to put that on me but I always stay firm about being natural. The only thing I put on my face is face scrubs to clean my face with and moisturizer because I have dry skin. I believe God was telling me to be happy in my natural form and was convicting me before I even knew that I was being convicted. I just subscribed to your Channel!
@@TestimonyTuesday I am and I don't really tell her anything on what she should and should not do as I understand that she experienced trauma based on her looks when she was a kid and even threw adulthood. She's still beautiful to me nonetheless and even I struggled with feeling beautiful and self-hate but I eventually came to see myself as beautiful and a lot of people always comment about my curly hair. I got sick back in November and I had to cut it because it was getting dry and matted which endocrinologist said that it could be my thyroid so I will be going for more test. But the good news is that after a few weeks after I cut it off which it is now collarbone length it is not falling out as much as it used to. I am happy that I don't have alopecia because it practically makes you have bald spots or almost completely bald. But I don't plan on cutting my hair again and letting it grow except with occasional trims. But that's usually once or twice a year. I see lots of women walking around with a face full of makeup when they are just going to the grocery store and it's sad that they can't see themselves as beautiful without makeup and in some ways it could even age you. I believe God was convicting me so I wouldn't end up like them not that any better than them because there is always something that we all fall short of but I don't want to have the spirit of vanity where all that matters is my looks because something could happen such as an illness or age where overtime you don't look the same.
@@Faithandseekerofchrist Society has made it a beauty standard and promote it so heavy. Therefore a lot of men and women young and old have accepted and adopted it. I was saved for 6yrs before the Lord convicted me and made me aware that He wasn't happy with me doing it. The LORD took make up away from me about 8 years ago simply because of the fact that He made me in his image. Why would I want the evil of flesh pride in my life. Also do they in heaven wear makeup. Like the LORD'S prayer says "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" so if they see it as evil even witchcraft why would I want any part of it see. Hello Friend, I would first like to ask are you a newly born again Christian? We each have a personal relationship with God through Jesus. Just as we as human beings have to continue to grown and learn so it is with developing a deep relationship with God. His Grace carries us. However, we have to harken to His voice therefore if He makes it plan to us that we should or should not do something we shall obey. We will be judged based on what we know and what he has revealed to us individually (what did we do with the knowledge that he gave us). The issue of make up and weave on the natural (not supernatural) aspect is you are are wearing someone else hair on your head (we wouldn't wear someone else skin ). Also make up changes your natural appearance. In the supernatural the more you press in to God and His will for your life he will began to give you deeper revelations by His Spirit through his Word. Lastly if Jesus just merely came into the world but didn't do the "work" on the cross (obey God's will) there would be no salvation. We must seek God and obey. The more you grow in Christ these thing will be revealed to you. The Word of God tells us to ask and we shall receive. Anything you want to know you can go directly to God in the name of His Son Jesus and He will reveal the knowledge and wisdom to you through His Holy Spirit.

All of these attachments are false glory and feed the spirits of vanity and lust. Also, with the human hair, people are attaching the hair of individuals they don't know to their heads, not realizing where this hair comes from. Sometimes it is from dead corpses and often it has been prayed/chanted over in the names of idol gods (demons). It causes the wearers of this hair to carry those spirits. Your head represents your destiny and your hair represents your glory.

If God told you that then that is personal to you. There is no where in the Bible that said we shouldn’t put on make. If your outward appearance is more important to you than your inward growth then that is a problem but putting on a little makeup or wearing ear rings is not sin. The Bible says we should let our inward adornment be more that our outward man. We are to focus on the inside and not the outside. But a little bit of make up is not going to prevent you from going to heaven.
Easier to say if a woman has medium to long hair. But what about a woman with alopecia or cancer. Sometimes those woman have to wear a light foundation. If she loses her eyelashes. Wears mascara not a lot or lip gloss. Person will not lose their salvation or God will not keep them out of Heaven.

God has always shown me makeup is not real even though I used to wear it. I do not know if it will make someone miss the rapture, but I thought so at one time. I am open to it. This is a beautiful transition ... being transformed into who God desire you to be. Before I realized what the Lords was saying to me about the fake hair and make up I too bought some hair that was 100$ and when I finally put it in my hair .. it just wasn't right... I hated everything about it.. This was one of the confirmation the Lord used for me just being overall unsatisfied no matter what with it.

I was going to start getting into makeup and weave to try "change" my looks after I spent like 350 dollars, the Lord told me to throw it away. The convictions came so random. Your not alone.

Some women who can only do sew in up to a certain point had no other choice but to align their hair an whole body where they have to braid it in the same patterns just to go out an about and they have to cover it or have their eargates covered with hair or long weave it's not a sin wearing weave but it's certain brands that could effect the image the body of christ.

Thank you for sharing . So many people are blatantly lying on the Lord. Saying makeup is okay by him. Even my grandmother, before the internet, had an encounter with an angel who made it clear makeup and stuff is bad. She use to wear red nail polish . One night she went to bed and in a dream an angel appeared and rubbed her nails until the polish came off that she fell asleep with. She said when she woke up, the nail polish was off her nails. So it was VERY clear to her not to wear nail polish. She was paranoid, even growing up, she would say do not wear nail polish it is not good. She did not know why, but she said just do not wear it. This is before the internet letting people know the harmful effects of it … the Lord was very clear with her.
A few weeks ago, I was about to have a permanent eyebrow makeup, and I asked God to have the appointment canceled if He didn't want me to do it. It hasn't been canceled, I did it, and I really liked the result, that looked really natural. I wanted to do it mostly because my natural eyebrows had holes, because of too much hair removal for years. It looks so natural that it's almost unnoticeable. I believe that God is okay with us highlighting our natural beauty if it doesn't bring too much attention on us and let us feel prettier without falling into vanity. Otherwise, He would forbid any form of artistic creativity... ?

He is not going to make cancer disappear if it develops due to this, you'll live with consequences and seek earthly medical advise. @@daisyg8384I had my eyebrows permanently done in April…very natural strokes. I thought about it for 5 years and never received any signs to not do it. Just recently I sense that God has been speaking to me about covering my head and I’ve had less of a desire to wear make up and false lashes.

Yeah unfortunately you got to be careful of who you tell people about the things you stop doing because they will try to sabotage things sometimes for bad reasons but sometimes because they are so accustomed to their ways and that everything they were raised up to believe now you are telling them that you're no longer following those ways. Especially family members. I learned not to tell them when I'm fasting and I will tell them that I don't eat pork, shrimp, crab or Lobster but I won't go into details on why because they will try to sabotage that. My mom kept trying to get me to eat pork again and to say it is good for me and then tell me that if I don't eat pork then I'll be malnutrition and I'll never be able to have a normal life. Meanwhile I ate a bunch of that stuff and I always felt weird after eating it. It's like I tried to tell her why it's bad and I even told her that I will respect what she eats but then when I asked for her to do the same for me she tries to overstep that boundary to try and get me to eat pork again instead of just respecting it. I can still eat chicken, beef, turkey and fish with scales and fins. I made the mistake of telling my mom that I was going to do a 24-hour fast and she said that if I do that, then she's going to tell my dad and tell him that I'm starving myself. The Bible says we are to guard our hearts. I'm glad there are UA-camrs like this woman who can talk to women where they feel like an outcast even by their own family and where she understands where you're coming from and basically tells you how to move forward. She's going to try to get me to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving and I just don't want to do it no more. She accused me of being a Muslim because I don't eat pork, I told her that I don't want to put decorations in my house and she called me Jewish. I am a Christian and the Bible says we are not take part of that and if he did want us to be a part of it he would have clearly said celebrate it. He said for us to have the Sabbath and to keep it holy which it is on the last day of the week, the seventh day on the week which is Saturday NOT SUNDAY. The Romans changed that on purpose. I am a Christian and I truly want a relationship with him and just because I want to break away from these Traditions such as celebrating halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas it doesn't mean I'm a different religion but I just know that he does not like those things. I can't even find a church that doesn't celebrate Christmas where I live and basically have to do virtual. It's such a lonely road but in some ways I feel happy about it and happy that I met people who actually understand and are trying to do the same thing. I had a woman I was friends with for years and now that I'm growing into this, I no longer want to do the same thing she's doing such as going to only the movies each time she wanted to hang out which it is not very cheap, and I just want to talk but it's always the movies and I'm tired of it. She stopped talking to me but I accepted it for what it is and I don't really care anymore that our friendship ended. I had another friend who I was friends with for probably a year or two but she started acting like talking to me was a burden and I eventually got tired of it so I don't have any interest to talk to her anymore. I made a new friend who is in the same path as I am and she even told me things that I didn't even know before. So I lost friends but then I gained some.

Yes I am American. I was born again at the age of 24. It has not always been easy but the Holy Spirit is so comforting and I truly understand the glory that awaits me. Therefore I will continue to press on no matter what by praying and trusting God. The Lord is so amazing he will always send us help and reassurance. Yes the Lord is so patient with us and he delights in every detail of our lives.. Just think about it he knows the very number of hairs on our head ... that in itself tells how much he cares for us. Think about it, as humans we can date someone for 2yrs and they probably would not even know our eye or hair color. One time last week I wrote a comment and as I was going back to add to comment the clipped my hair and I couldn't find the comment to help the believer. God bless you Heather! This has indeed been a struggle for me as well, but I am willing to give up any and everything at the Lord's will. I shared this on the UA-cam platform because the Lord gave me permission to do so. However, this isn't the message I go about preaching the message is "Jesus" and how much I love him (because he 1st loved me) therefore I am willing to give my all to Him and for Him/ His kingdom. Just as I mentioned in the video at some point as I was deep in my walk with the Lord I was still blinded by the fact that wearing these thing were displeasing to the Father. I was not made aware of this until I began to pray "search my heart O' God, point out anything in me that offends you". So the truth of the matter is some people are ignorant (do not know better) and some deliberately refuses the truth. Pray for your sisters and the Lord will open their eyes in due season. Whenever, someone ask me or we get on the topic of why I no longer participate in these thing that is when I simply share my testimony. The Holy Spirit will lead you to whom you should speak to on the subject, when, and where.

Yes indeed sister! I totally understand your testimony. I wore hair extension for 10yr never being seen without them. To me this was one of the most difficult task I have had to do thus far. Oh but with GOD! and Christ Jesus! I am doing it. You are so correct the closer we walk with GOD He corrects us onto his perfect path. However, a lot of Christians don't understand this when dealing with their fellow bother or sister. We somehow think that everyone should been at the same pace. The truth is as long as we are on this earth we still need work and have not arrived. Therefore we should continue to press in to GOD and continue to grow in His Spirit.
Ever since I started drawing my eyebrows about 5 years ago I have felt uneasy about it. I hate it. When I do it right it does make me look much better. But most of the time I am just embarrassed. I don't think I have the courage to stop, but God knows how bad I want to. Thank you for the encouragement.
I understand you completely I didn’t think I would have the courage to stop painting my eyebrows. I only recently started because my eyebrows were greying. Once I stopped and went out in public with my grey eyebrows I felt good because I was no longer hiding behind makeup and not just eyebrows but eye makeup too. One thing the LORD has been dealing with me on personally is wearing modest skrits. Perferably longer skirts. I know it's not for everyone, but He showed me it is FOR Me. I heard in my spirit a while now to stay as natural as possible. God is God is Holy and we must adorn ourselves. So far i've received convictions for tight clothing anything that expose my body and anything above my knees. And sitting with my legs open even tho in jeans. Yup God is Holy. Our private shouldn't be printing through our clothing male or female. God is amazing. We must not cause another to lust or lose focus. It is important to pay attention to convictions and ask God about whats right and wrong

Hi thank you for sharing what the Lord told you about weave and makeup. To be honest, I also didn’t wear a face full of makeup not because I didn’t want to but because I’m acne prone so I’ve just been doing my skincare trying to get my face in order. I did wear my eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.The only time I wore weave was to braid me and my daughter’s hair which was here and there I was trying to learn and practice. I’ve been seeing a lot of ladies make changes not only in their hair or makeup but ladies are also changing their wardrobe. So, I was encouraged to not only stop wearing the makeup but to throw out my pants and non modest clothing. I have a shipment of dresses and skirts coming. I’ve been asking the Lord for truth in all this that I’m hearing from others but what I heard while making breakfast was I wasn’t ready to receive what He had to tell me but be patient. Then I was told to work on my inner self before my outward appearance. I too wanted to know what would prevent me from being taken in the rapture but I guess I’m not ready He knows me better than I know myself. Or maybe I didn’t ask the right question, I will take your advice and specify. God bless you on your walk with the Lord.

Coming from someone who wears a face full of makeup, it doesn't sit right with my spirit anymore.
This is true the Lord processed me too even down to my dressing (no pants) Deut 22:5, 1 Timothy2: 8-10 , jewlery and accessory including my hair I use to always process my hair, perm and the Lord told me to wear it natural which I now do. I had to learn how to deal with my natural hair lots of tips on youtube rice water aloe vera etc. He is cleaning and purifying His Bride ready for his immenant return and is coming for a REMANT not masses.
Yes the Lord is very intimate with each of His children on a personal one on one relationship. He delights in every part of our being. He deals with us at His perfect time according to His perfect will (unlike man). I rather have the Lord's correction over the ways of man. Jesus died and gave us access to the Father through fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We need to listen and answer to His voice only while continually praying for discernment.

i was unaware of this for a long time, and i recently found out that it was bad to braid or wear artificial hair, i was unsure and i had to check the bible for conformation. despite this, a few days after my dad asked me to braid is hair, (which was what i did before i knew it was an abomination), the bible mentioned to honor your mother and father but i was scared because i knew it was wrong but decided to do it anyway, and i did it a few days after that as well. and now with all the information that i have gathered I’m just so scared in a way, now i feel as if i may not be forgiven and I’m just scared at the moment, and it has had an affect on me mentally for about a week now, im also stressing bc i have school in less than 2 weeks and dont know what to do with my hair. i am very young and still attempting to do everything i can to please god, I’ve just been afraid and worried that maybe god didn’t forgive me, and its on my mind everyday, and I’ve just been sad, worried, and in fear.
Just continue to pray for forgiveness and that you'll be able to obey God fully
The best way is to also tell your mom or dad how you feel about braiding. So you wont feel like you're being disobedient when you respectfully say you can't braid their hair because it doesn't not plaid God. And pray to God for forgiveness
Don't worry, don't be afraid if you truly repent and give yourself to God he faithful and just enough ti forgive you your sins
Keep seeking his face and ask him for his holy spirit to guide you

I believe most men do not like women that wear fake hair, heavy makeup, fake eyelashes, or anything that is fake. Black women should be proud of their hair because you don't have to wash it every day because of smell or worry about lice or any other critters that want to live in your hair. Think about it. Your hair is so strong and powerful that you can do anything with it, and it truly is a gift from our Father, our Creator.
After hearing how often women miss heaven and end up in hell because of adornments I gave up wigs, make up, eyelashes, jewelry (including the little earpiece put on women when they are babies) nail polish. Etc I’m trying to change my wardrobe and get rid of pants. I do have a couple wigs somewhere but I pray I can get rid of everything. 99% of time I’m natural now

I always tell everyone to read Matthew 24 (repeatedly). JESUS goes through what will happen and signs to look for before HIS Second Coming. HE adds, that we will go through the Great tribulation before HIS second coming, in which where we will then be taken up with HIM, when HE returns for us. So, we must pray to be counted worthy to escape the things to come, so we can stand before HIM on that glorious day! 🤗🙌🏽🤲🏽 Even if we suffer and die, don’t worry, that’s why HE says, “The dead in CHRIST will rise first, then those still alive and standing! It is also why HE emphasizes that we ought to be watchful for we don’t know when HE is coming. SO, STAY ALERT AT ALL TIMES, BELOVED CHILDREN! 🙏

I don't care if I can go the rest of my life without makeup and I don't need any wigs or weave because I have my own curly natural hair. I am half Hispanic and half white so I am mixed. I do wear earrings but that's as far as I go with jewelry and even headbands. It started with me stop wearing foundation and then with me just wearing mascara but now I don't really wear makeup all that much and if I do it is on special occasions. I rarely even straighten my hair. I don't wear nail polish either. I prefer myself in a natural state because we were born natural and we will die natural. I even threw away my eyeshadow kit that I bought a couple years ago. I would prefer to be natural most of the time. The conviction is real and now I'm trying to work on starting to wear dresses more but of course the modest ones! My mom is in her mid-60s and she still wears makeup and recently started wearing fake eyelashes. She had natural curly hair like me but over time because she kept straightening it and it is now wavy. Having all of that makeup on you it's not healthy for you to begin with and especially 24/7. I wish she could see herself beautiful in her natural state but sadly she doesn't see herself in that way as she always wants to cover up and make up every single day. She tries to put that on me but I always stay firm about being natural. The only thing I put on my face is face scrubs to clean my face with and moisturizer because I have dry skin. I believe God was telling me to be happy in my natural form and was convicting me before I even knew that I was being convicted. I just subscribed to your Channel!

@@TestimonyTuesday I am and I don't really tell her anything on what she should and should not do as I understand that she experienced trauma based on her looks when she was a kid and even threw adulthood. She's still beautiful to me nonetheless and even I struggled with feeling beautiful and self-hate but I eventually came to see myself as beautiful and a lot of people always comment about my curly hair. I got sick back in November and I had to cut it because it was getting dry and matted which endocrinologist said that it could be my thyroid so I will be going for more test. But the good news is that after a few weeks after I cut it off which it is now collarbone length it is not falling out as much as it used to. I am happy that I don't have alopecia because it practically makes you have bald spots or almost completely bald. But I don't plan on cutting my hair again and letting it grow except with occasional trims. But that's usually once or twice a year. I see lots of women walking around with a face full of makeup when they are just going to the grocery store and it's sad that they can't see themselves as beautiful without makeup and in some ways it could even age you. I believe God was convicting me so I wouldn't end up like them not that any better than them because there is always something that we all fall short of but I don't want to have the spirit of vanity where all that matters is my looks because something could happen such as an illness or age where overtime you don't look the same.

Society has made it a beauty standard and promote it so heavy. Therefore a lot of men and women young and old have accepted and adopted it. I was saved for 6yrs before the Lord convicted me and made me aware that He wasn't happy with me doing it. It is not an overnight process and it is definitely not an easy process to walk out especially when it is all you know. Also I made a part 2 to this video you should check it out.
The LORD took make up away from me about 8 years ago simply because of the fact that He made me in his image.

The Lord convicted me of wearing earrings and tattoos too. I did away with makeup, pants, weave, leggings, and shorts.
The Lord knows how to deal with us at the right time and in the right season. Glory to the Father who is so merciful and patient with his children.

Crazy. Back in October I had a dream and in this dream I heard the audible voice of YHWH “let the adorning be internal and not external” I woke up at 6 am with the biggest smile I’ve ever had. I knew GOD .. my sheep they know my voice … I researched that and found it in 1 Peter 3:3

Hello Friend,
I would first like to ask are you a newly born again Christian? We each have a personal relationship with God through Jesus. Just as we as human beings have to continue to grown and learn so it is with developing a deep relationship with God. His Grace carries us. However, we have to harken to His voice therefore if He makes it plan to us that we should or should not do something we shall obey. We will be judged based on what we know and what he has revealed to us individually (what did we do with the knowledge that he gave us). The issue of make up and weave on the natural (not supernatural) aspect is you are are wearing someone else hair on your head (we wouldn't wear someone else skin ). Also make up changes your natural appearance. In the supernatural the more you press in to God and His will for your life he will began to give you deeper revelations by His Spirit through his Word.
Lastly if Jesus just merely came into the world but didn't do the "work" on the cross (obey God's will) there would be no salvation.
We must seek God and obey.
The more you grow in Christ these thing will be revealed to you. The Word of God tells us to ask and we shall receive. Anything you want to know you can go directly to God in the name of His Son Jesus and He will reveal the knowledge and wisdom to you through His Holy Spirit.

Sister, I thank the Lord Jesus for you. This is a narrow path and it doesn't come easy for anyone. However, there is this notion that Jesus has different standards for different people. All of these attachments are false glory and feed the spirits of vanity and lust. Also, with the human hair, people are attaching the hair of individuals they don't know to their heads, not realizing where this hair comes from. Sometimes it is from dead corpses and often it has been prayed/chanted over in the names of idol gods (demons). It causes the wearers of this hair to carry those spirits. Your head represents your destiny and your hair represents your glory.

Teaching for doctrine our own personal convictions as though they are the commandments of God is not what the scriptures gives us as an instruction or commandment to do sister. We are to preach the gospel and share the Truth in God’s Word by revelation. Where does Jesus tell the Apostles to preach and teach women not to wear make up? If Jesus defended a woman who was caught in the act of adultery from being being stoned by the Pharisees who were condemning her for breaking their laws then, how is it that we as God’s people are getting these new commandments of the Lord doctrines from? From *The spirit of Religion” that’s where sister. By receiving the false teaching of the rapture as truth opened a doorway for an unclean spirit to deceive you into believing that what you were hearing was a commandment of the Lord sister. I know because I’ve been exactly where you are and teaching very similar teachings that sounded biblical but weren’t rooted in the truth in God’s Word just like the message you’re sharing in this video, and I’m telling you this because I love you and it is the desire of our Lord to set you free. Teaching religion to one another is a sin and goes against the gospel that Jesus Himself preached and when we preach and teach one another falsely and use the scriptures to do so, we are not only using God’s name in vain but, we defile ourselves by disobeying the Word of God and make the preaching of the true gospel of none effect because we’ve compromised it with untruths.

We women are already beautiful. Would God say "you need all these extra accessories to make you feel more secure in Me"? No He would tell you to embrace who He made you to look bc He created you as such. Its just common sense too. But we are so warped with societys standards we cant fathom a life without these extra things.....

Anything that reigns over our hearts more than God's word and loving and obeying Him. Have you read the book of Enoch. It says that an angel taught women how to paint themselves....who painted themselves....Jezebel 🎨 was she not an evil queen and seductress?? We must also ask ourselves do we really need to place all these things on our bodies...and what is the reason behind it?? Is it for selfish purposes? To obtain 👀 eyes on you? If God told you that then that is personal to you. There is no where in the Bible that said we shouldn’t put on make. If your outward appearance is more important to you than your inward growth then that is a problem but putting on a little makeup or wearing ear rings is not sin. The Bible says we should let our inward adornment be more that our outward man. We are to focus on the inside and not the outside. But a little bit of make up is not going to prevent you from going to heaven.

Easier to say if a woman has medium to long hair. But what about a woman with alopecia or cancer. Sometimes those woman have to wear a light foundation. If she loses her eyelashes. Wears mascara not a lot or lip gloss. Person will not lose their salvation or God will not keep them out of Heaven.

God has always shown me makeup is not real even though I used to wear it. I do not know if it will make someone miss the rapture, but I thought so at one time. I am open to it. I hope that it is not so, but I know you need to get rid of it anyway because it is pretense. Several pictures with friends and I came from Him here.
