- Hysolis Apollo 5K is the first to offer 3 Phase plug & play electricity anywhere, even off-grid direct from solar. It's also the most expandable system on the market up to 36,000 watts output and 112kwh of storage! Perfect for heavy use, or people that want a system that can grow with their needs.

Plug & Play 3 Phase power is a big deal! What do you think of this system? Hysolis: hysolis.com/?ref=Ioa3QqoypQybBA Extra 5% off use my code: SILVERCYMBAL
You should see if they can add the option to their premade "kits" for your discount code (if possible). Just tried and it only works for a few items.
a battery pack with ethercon and socapex, now thats like live event quality connectors...even Powercon true-1 for the earth rod cable
I picked up this unit and a battery for $3200 on Facebook marketplace deals are out there!
This system need tools for per-cell diagnostic and replacement to be truely perfect. Off-grid should be repairable.
Sure looks like they are well thought out and well made.
Agreed, these are good for just being super portable but for anyone that wants simple plug and play with huge input outputs these are very cool
Hey man keep it up.
Hey Great content as usual. Any advice on preparing for a move. That would be a great video idea. Packing supplies etc
0:50 "1.21 Gigawatts! 1.21 Gigawatts. Great Scott!"
Ohh geeze, doc!
Great video and great unit
Thank you, I love your videos BTW, great info and channel. I am waiting for that solar stand to come to market people will love your design
Ben definitely thinks highly of the Apollo 5K's that he has! The vibe I get from you guys is that the Hysolis product is very stable. I can't go five minutes on EcoFlow Facebook pages without somebody complaining about their units not working or a firmware upgrade wrecking something.
@@allenbaxley8412Yep, same here. No way would I drop that kind of coin on those products. I own a couple and I stay out of the deep end price wise. They are cool and innovative but question their longevity.
@@allenbaxley8412 I really do like my EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra, but you're absolutely right about the firmware updates. They seem to be needed very often and for preppers that's a big concern. My Apollos have been running since August of last year, non-stop, without issues besides the app sometimes. That's it. Right now it's running my crypto miner earning me passive income off of solar. I love my Apollos.
Learning new things is Essential in Life,,,Thank You💯💎👊🏽
Apollo 5K for $5000. Sweet product, but definitely only for serious users.
If I hadn’t of already built my own system, this would be the one I would get!
Super cool product. I hope you get to keep them!!
0:50 I think you misstated the power as 36,000 kilowatts, or 36 million watts. You must have meant either 36,000 W or 36kW.
This is cool!
Bravo.......great design.........they must come with a large price tag......cheers
Totally a bluetti interface …but the apollos are beast!
This would work great for my friend who wants to move his CNC shop deep off power in the woods of WV
Yup, for that type of setup this one is fantastic, some of that gear can have huge electric needs.
I like the way the batteries charge and discharge in sync.
So this unit can be charged by a portable inverter generator?
And also connected to my main breaker panel with interlock device right?
TY SC
Right
Is the 3ph output 208/120v, 240v. 120v + 208 on the middle phase to ground, or some mixture?
Can ground any of them it has a user serviceable panel on the right side.
240/120
So if you are running 2 phase in your set up through 2 male connectors, is there some form of protection to stop one from outputting voltage if both aren't connected? If there is a load connected to the adaptor and only 1 is plugged in with 2 phase the pin could become live?
At $15000 for 9000w or 25a of 3 phase power with a 15kwh capacity, that pretty penny when a used 25-30kw diesel generator can be had for around $5000, $10k can buy a lot of diesel....
In other applications I can see this working out, but to spend $15k just to get a little 3 phase power and not much run time without buying a bunch of extra batteries, don't know.
1/3 back with federal incentives makes it $10k. With solar paying $0 for the power pays back the system cost fairly fast over diesel fuel. It also needs almost no maintenance. Diesel generators will need service, and won’t last as long if used consistently for power.
Why is price never discussed? These start at $5000 each, before options. What else can I do for that kind of $$?
If you're asking that you ain't got the money to do anything
@@greuju Or I do have money to do things, because I don't spend it foolishly.
@@BillyBobDingledorf it's foolish to buy 3 of these to run a welder in an area where you can't?
If you don't have the need, then the price doesn't matter smart guy
@@greuju You made a statement about me. I explained how your perception was incorrect. You then make an assumptive argument that did not flow from my clarification. I'm not playing your game.
So how much would a 36 kW / 112 kW real "generator"* (i.e. diesel / propane) cost to buy and operate compared to this?
* equipment that actually generates electricity from other energy sources as opposed to these rechargeable battery boxes which have to be charged by a generator.
It’s not a play on words. Solar outputs low DC voltage. These boxes turn it into higher voltage and store excess but can also pass it through real-time. In the woods with solar these would run forever. Obviously diesel of gas would run out after a short time. Both machines need an input to generate an output.
@@SilverCymbal These are "Secondary Batteries" meaning they 'generate" no electric power, but only store it from another source. It can be from gravity & water pressure, steam from coal or nuclear, or solar, or differential heat (i.e. geothermal). These are simply rechargeable batteries with an inverter to make the DC stored into AC. Primary Batteries, like the ones in flash lights, convert chemical energy into electricity. If you have no power grid (i.e. generators) or no solar cells, or energy source, these things are simple dead, unpowered batteries needing an external charge...so not "Generators" !
