The gift shop was "castle rapids" the roller rink entrence on the right side and water slide entrence on the left. The storage room was the pump room. The left over metal was from a costar install AFTER the sale of Sauble Beach Amusements in 2009. The new owners did remove the costar "the pipeline express" that stod there since 1988. It was completely taken away before the park reopened as sauble beach fun world. The first kart track shown was originally the roller skate rink. The small booth in the middle was the DJ booth. The rink closed down and was turned into the "drift karts" build in 06 maybe 07. You would "drift" in the yellow corner that we would spray with armor-all to make it slick. The roller rink side of that building had an small arcade in it, customer storage room to keep your shoes. Bathrooms and there was a kitchen in the back that linked to the water slide side. There was a back door to an outside seating area, there was a fence where the civic is to seperate the water slide and back patio. The castle rapids roof was always closed (2000s) we were told it was cause of a bad roof. The next track was the main attraction go kart track. The snack bar was indeed the snack bar. The pool was bumper boats. The small seat of stairs was kids 5 seater Ferris wheel. The broken round ride was a kids ride with boats and it was filled with water. Thank you for that view from "The Sky Shute" I sat up there for 2 summers. Looks weird without "The Pipeline" in front of it. Under the sky shute we stored the bumper boats, "The Scrambler" bucket seats and just about everything else on the kids side that needed to be stored in the winter.
My family and cousins used to spend a week at Sauble every summer. This place was fun. I tore it up on that go kart track when I was kid, lol. Back in 2015, I went up there to explore and photograph the property and rides. It hadn’t really been vandalized yet. As for the roof, we would get food in the restaurant/arcade below (it wasn’t a gift shop) and eat it up there and hang out up there. The “snack bar” was actually for teenage employees to take breaks. The “castle staircase” was a platform to a mini Ferris wheel. Cool vid! I wish I shot some 5 years ago...and even years ago too!
@@russb8951 it certainly wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if the Amusement Park in this video were in a way haunted after being abandoned in 2012 assuming if there weren't any tragically fatal accidental deaths over there!
We used to call it “The Big Red Slide”. Lol beside the slide there used to be bumper boats. So, I think that is what the pool was. There wasn’t any swimming pool to my recollection. Great video. So sad they let this go, it was one of the great things about going up there ever summer🙂 Thank you for doing this video. Brings back a lot of memories. I see the pipeline roller coaster is completely gone from the grounds. It was on the left hand side of the slide if you were standing facing the slide. It was fun and scary. My brother got stuck up there and they had to get a ladder and climb up and give him a good push with a broom handle, lol
There is a park similar to that in peterborough ontario that is partially abandoned, and the go kart track is the only remaining attraction that is still open

Great info. What's your relation to the park?

Thanks for filling in all the blanks! There isn't much info about this place online so I'm glad you were able to find my video! Glad you enjoyed!

Right Next to the Gift Shop Was a Looping Star Roller Coaster, Which operated in 2011.
now this would be a perfect spot for a theme park based on anime or gaming like mass effect or naruto
There was also a cement waterside back in the 1980s
What used to the name of the amusement park? And where in Ontario was it?
I always knew it as the sauble beach amusement park
That car wasn't there before...I looked around that place 5 years ago way before the fire something else happened 😳
And they also had mini bikes
Dude....your in Canada...your a ok👌
We're the gift shop was that used to be a arcade
I went there in 2019 and the car was there unbusted
In like 2017 or little earlier the car wasn't even there
