@@jennyreardon2719Jenny No one wants to pay high premiums. If you want an insurance company to decide what test or procedure you can have, go with Advantage. If you want your doctor to decide what test or procedure you need, go with one of the Plans

My dad had an Advantage plan with a fairly high monthly premium that was paid by his former employer. It was pretty good until he needed more than 20 days of nursing/rehab. Even with appeals the Advantage carrier said Absolutely NOT. I negotiated with the facility for an additional 20 days with immediate direct pay. I'm going to sign up for Plan N shortly.

I think N and HDG are the two best plans. It would take a catastrophic event to hit that $2,800 limit. If you choose plan G by the time you're 85 that monthly premium will be the through the roof. In New York, it's a no-brainer to take HDG. If you're in a big city and an advantage plan covers all the hospitals you want to go to, then you're fine I guess. But as a general rule, it's better to stay away from managed Care.

I will be calling your office sooner than I thought. Going to retire sooner than I anticipated for family health reasons. I will probably be calling you this week just to get some questions answered before I need to help my wife get on the B part and a supplement and we will need a prescription plan ( We will watch your video again on the prescription decisions again soon too. I understand that you don't have time to go over the prescription side of things.) I am retiring at the end of Sept 2024 and my wife is currently on my company's health plan but is of medicare age so she will need Part B plus a supplement plan. I am not of medicare age but I can stay on my excellent health care plan until i am 65 in 2 plus years yrs for only $200.00 a month. Look forward to speaking with you or your staff soon Brian!!

I have VA healthcare + regular Medicare A& B. I am debating whether to get a supplement since so far everything has been covered thru VA even when I had to get community care referrals.

I thought that a heart attack was considered an emergency, and therefore, would be covered on either plan, supplement and advantage. As a matter of fact, my advantage plan states that I can go to any hospital that has an emergency room. But of course, it has to be a true emergency.

I understand you are considered a good agent, but, it seems to me that you're trying hard to sell us one of those two plans. Before my retirement, I used to have UHC HMO through my employer, had to deal with referrals and prior authorizations. During those working years, I had three heart attacks (stent placements), and both hip replacements done along with knee surgery, and I am happy to say that they were all covered by my plan. I have heard that my plan was similar to an Advantage plan, would this be correct? If so, then an Advantage plan is supposed to cover emergencies anywhere in the US and it's territories.
