I just read The Grapes of Wrath for my first time. I’m 41. This book slapped my soul around in the best way. Thanks for your analysis, I had a feeling the two storylines, one of the family and one of the macro environment, was as you expressed, a way to show the interconnectivity of all things in life. Beautiful.
