I have fond memories of foreign SW radio broadcasts when I was growing up in the 1970s. Sadly, most of what remains is just "the Internet." However, if your radio is prior to the mid-1980s, you can listen to cell phone conversations, fwiw.

Mint condition Sony! Sony and Panasonic made the best shortwave and mediumwave receivers. Awesome find! 👍
