Mine too! It's been cold and wet so parts of my garden are quite unhappy.

@LorriesWorld we were wet and cooler, for a few months. Then hot, crazy hot and heading for drought. Now we are back in rain. Bizarre summer. Certainly don't miss last summers wildfire smoke though!

So is it better to bend the daffodils in half and tie them rather than cutting them back ?

You should never cut them off. After flowering, the leaves send their energy back to the bulb as they die off. If you cut them, that energy is lost. You don't have to bend & tie them but I think it looks neater...♥
