And to think a lot of low level terrain following flight was made at night in WW2 bombing missions, without radar assist. The pilots of old would have loved this kit!! My introduction to TI was using TI's family of TTL logic chips in the 70's, forerunners to LSI - those days were fun...
Hi Kalayas. Strange thing you speak of TTL logic on here, I worked and flew with the Mohawk 1964-66 as a Radar operator and repairman. The radar shown here never made it to full procurement. The Mohawk had a Ryan doppler radar used for drift angle and ground speed indicators (AN/APN129) and it was replaced just before we took them to Viet Nam .with a Canadian Marconi ( AN/ASN-64) doppler radar with an analog computer for dead reckoning nav. I played with TTL logic on some projects in the 70s too, if I recall the SN-7490 was a divide by 10 chip.
Jesus!?? I thought they simply made my calculator in school!!! Here, i find out that they make complex terrain following radar systems, back in the 60's and 70's??! *learn something new, every day!!* ☀️😎☀️🇺🇸

Wow, that is a plane only a mother could love...

TI58!
Now I know why TI wasn't just called Texas Calculators. Turns out they made other stuff.
Then came Motorola APS-94 F Plus SLAR.
That was a a-26 invader and not a B-26.
Was this filmed before scientists invented the Doppler effect?
