I remember those Dominators. It was like "OMG DDR4 3400 NO WAY!" at the time.
Takk!
In terms of aesthetics, these Dominators are my favorite. Anyone remember the special edition kit that had heat treated coloring?
“Not stable enough to survive” and the OC summoning pentacle would look great together on a shirt. Just sayin 🤘🏻
Seeing this on Ryzen would be interesting, for me personally 3000 Series, but 5000 Series will most likely be more interesting.
I'd love to see these sticks with the Ryzen 7 4750G u have. Just out of fun :)
I think it's funny that this old kit has a heatsink design similar to what we should be getting on high end DDR5 kits for adequate cooling....but instead we'll get the same old plastics and RGB.
Buildzoid making videos from the future
I'm playing through some 1.7.10 FTB as well. Love tinkering with shit until it finally works. The sheer amount of crap you can mess with is obscene. Throw ComputerCraft and ProjectRed into the mix and there aren't many limits to your creativity.
I too have 4Gb Samsung E die in a Corsair 2x8GB kit. Been using it since 2016 with a 6600K and now on a 5600X
I have a 4x4 Corsair Dominator Kit (3000C15) from my old X99 System, but with the new Ryzen 5600 XMP does not run at all. Manually Setting 3000 C 15 and the voltage does not boot either -.-
No Boot even with 1,45V, but im getting a different Kit now (Crucial 3600C16). I assume its some problem with a stone age XMP Profile that Ryzen 5000 cant work with.
@@hodenkobold1337 don't use the xmp profile, boot with whatever automatic settings the motherboard use and manually lock them. Then work your way up, step by step, increasing only the voltage.
Makes me want to go buy some 4gb sticks,. Also any idea why an 11900k does 550gflops when a 5800x only does 350?
@kittens_ AMD calculates their TDP/Power differently. A 65W AMD chip pulls 85-90W easy.
Is there a particular reason your windows is displaying a future date, I wonder?
it's not connected to the internet and I can't be bothered to fix the date.

Cool. Yet somewhat disappointing. Couldn't you just have told me something about time travel or some such?
Still, love your vids! Keep the good work up!
Great video, out of box thinking, not the typical bdie shit for once.
Old Zalman CPU cooler? I don't know if it's the camera or lighting but it looks quite nice here.
Hi. Thanks for the video. What's the dimension of your PCU fan? I presume you've to be careful with the size of it because of the height of your RAM memory, no?
Do you have a video over lock the 11900k on the master?
I stumbie on this video just as i dial in 3600 12/12/12 cr1 (cuz t-topology board can't do more mhz) on a 2x16gb 4266 17/18/18 ripjaws b-die kit lol
Hello, I have 4 modules of 8 GB at 4400Mhz, what voltages could I try to make it work and be stable 24/7?
I saw someone selling this same kit around here very cheap and I was like nah orange sucks, lost the deal cuz of its color LMAO
the samsung e-die is pretty good i found out last week, bought a used pair kingston hyperx 2133 2x8gb kit, and it runs at 3200cl14 at 1.45v and its trfc is like b-die, its at 250.
Whats a good DDR3 clock? Running 4x4Gb 1600 8-8-8-24 Cruzial Tactical's, pushed em north of 2ghz,with lower Cl. Running a 3770k and i'we read that ivy brigde doesn't need more than 1866mhz anyway?
i used to run 2400MHz G.skill Ares memory with my 3770k. there definitely was a benefit going higher than 1866 MHz. i cant recall the timings, it was not OC, just the XMP profile on the memory kit.
of course it needs more than 1866...
i had 2x4gb 2600c11 and it was faster than 2400c10 in forza and witcher ( around 3-4% ) and the difference between 2600 and 1600 was absolutely huge. modern games scale with memory regardless of the platform ...
i ran a kit of Corsair 4x4GB 2133 8-8-8-24, i think its one of the faster ddr3 memory out there, the corsair 2133c8.
I want your desktop background! Did you make it?
yup you can get it here: imgur.com/gallery/cnsYnMr
If you want it in a different color scheme you can get the original XCF file for it from teespring here: actually-hardcore-overclocking.creator-spring.com/listing/ahoc-ram-ritual-desktop-backgr
Can u test some hynix c and d die? I had a kit rated for 4800mhz and they only went to 4533. 8x2 cl19

Z590 master with 10900k, even on stock if stress tested and monitoring vr vout, gets grayed out and on reboot pc does very wierd restart. Could you check it out, as your opinion on this very important. Thanks again
I would buy orange RAM if I needed RAM
If someone were to buy 4c/8t CPUs that are now kinda cheap.. combine that with the cheapest 128 bit GPU and 4x lowest capacity memory and do an overclock. Would this be the perfect cheapest gaming PC setup recipe always?
Which CPU exactly and price? getting Haswell or older is not making sense anymore because its DDR3 and if your mainboard is faulty - good night. The Intel 11400F is the new Budget King in my opinion. Spending more for 5600X, 11700, 10850K etc. is not needed for gaming and spending less cripples you back to 4C8T
it all depends what you can find at what price. dont get stuck on i have to have this cpu for example. 4c/8t will take you further than many ppl think.
@@hodenkobold1337 yea when they just came out I meant something similar to a combo of i3-10100F + GTX-1650 + 4x4gb 2400mhz @3200mhz. And then play games that have all patches, DLCs and mods already released and made. edit: okay nevermind the i3-10100F and 4x4gb would be overkill because the GTX-1650 its only as strong as a GTX680 of 2012. So in reality to balance things out you'd need a much stronger GPU like a GTX 1660 Ti which is similar to a GTX 980 Ti but even so.. thats like a 2015 top class gaming GPU with a MSRP of $279............ugh nevermind.. nothing makes sense to me anymore. Everything costs to much.
how low on cl ,can you get on a 5000 ryzen? also i have gskil flare cl14 3200 cant go any higher or crashes but its probs a lower tier b Samsung die....
32gb of those here... 3600 cl16 is all it goes, on cl14, maybe 3400. Vdimm should be 1.41v

Gigabyte made one pair of shit product, it doesn’t mean all Gigabyte products are bad… and I am assure you the engineer made the motherboard is not the same guy made the PSUs.
Heck GN praised the X570 Aorus Master Mobo.
Hey BZ why don't you make a motherboard overlocking roundup and have your best overclocking cpu and best overclocking memory kits on different brands of motherboards and try to clock them the same on them and tell us why to buy that motherboard instead of just making a roundup "talking" video? Because Most of us buy new systems when there's a new graphics card launch and when there is new graphics card launch it's already late enough that motherboards chipsets and cpu's are already launched and you basically get sent of buy these motherboards anyways or memory kits. Just make a 6 hours of "best cpu + memory" overclocking motherboard video and it'll get a lot of attention. Especially if you make a 10-15 minutes shorter version to just show result charts. That'll get a lot more views than any of your videos...
I got 4 gt610 for debugging ripped them out of old PCs
not first somehow
"get a spare GPU" We can't even get a main GPU, we don't have UA-cam channels and sponsors
I just didn't get rid of my old GPUs when I upgraded before getting this channel.
These days, you probably should sell any spare GPU you have...

Bruh, it was running at 2 V, that much voltage will cooks even b die chip. More over, that things are quite old and can reach 3600mhz with sick timing.
