    I appreciate this video so much, it saved my family $500 for a new Lowe's washing machine, there was a zipper stuck inside of the pump so of course the water wasn't draining. Words cannot express how grateful I am for you.

    I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this video - it has been a very long hard day and my daughter called me with this very problem. I followed your instructions and found (with some creative effort) a head band stuck up in the drainage receptacle (not sure what that compartment is called) everything works well now. Mine isn't a Bravo XL, but it looks fairly similar. When I took the hose off the basin on the bottom, there was some kind of plastic thing in the opening, shaped kind of like the pointy part of a juicer, if you can picture that. I tried pushing on it, but it felt attached. I couldn't actually get into the basin at all from where the hose entered to find blockages. Was the opening of yours fully accessible to feel around in?

    • @indypicker
      @indypicker  4 роки тому

      Did you work your way from the outlet hose to the pump first? If you are to the basin and found no block you missed it or it could be a bad pump.

      @@indypicker Turns out the pump got jammed pretty good with fibers, after only about 4 washes. It's under manufacturer warranty, so we got a guy out who told us natural soaps lead to this more often, since they use a clay-like substance, so to use a max of 1 tbsp of it per load (or 1.5 if using a deep water cycle). Also recommended washing with vinegar or at least running 2-3 cups white vinegar high heat/high speed cleaning cycles 1-2 times a month.
