After waking up shocked and saddened by our election results....I decided to watch your latest episode. You have brightened my day! I love you girls so much. Thanks for all you do with your podcast. You will make me smile the rest of the day.
OK you have completely inspired me after binge watching all of the GG episodes to date!! I have signed up for knitting classes and have bought some sock yarn and a set of DPNs!!! Woot!!! Thanks so much ladies!!
So happy to see new podcast. Jodie, I almost spit my coffee.. Wink, wink... Lmbo Wish my sister was a yarn lover, you and Tracie are my knitting group and yes you make me happy with giggles. Thank you!
Wow loved everything sock's and all the super lovely yarn's and there color's :) Loved all. :) So glad you had a great rip to amsterdam and all. ) Have a great week and lovely weekened. :) Hug's toni g. :)
I am newly addicted to your podcasts! Resulting in a visit to your beautiful edmonton and River City Yarns.... those fab ladies helped me stuff a bag of goodies to bring back up north.
You are just the ladies I needed to spend my Monday morning with. I am so glad you are back from a great vacation, and sharing all those beautiful yarns with us, enablers!
Hello Ladies!! So Excited you like the Sundae bags!! Thank you for saying such lovely things about them! Love all the socks and absolutely would love a frankensocks KAL or some sort of KAL to use minis. Everyone has a collection of them.
Glad to see you back! And of course, everything is beautiful. The things you made. The bags and things people sent. Can't wait to see what is coming for the Christmas podcasts! and OMG, the shawl you are wearing is gorgeous! Just that pop of pink on the bottom, rocks!
Thank you so much for all the lovely compliments, Sandra! My shawl is Party on my Needles by the super amazing Joji Locatelli. All the info is on my Ravelry page if you're interested.thanks!
Hi Natalie! We absolutely think of you every podcast, as we're usually drinking out of your amazing mugs! I am so glad you find us to be good company....thanks a million to YOU for your beautiful work and the super gorgeous extra adorable sheep that you included in our orders....big hug & Kiss to you xxoo
YOu two are so sweet. I love how you get along so well. I have 3 sisters and I love them a lot but they think I'm weird because I do crafts, I knit , crochet and sew. None of my sisters do anything crafty....well they do cook. I don't like cooking. I don't know anyone who knits so I call myself the lonely knitter. I have been binge watching your podcasts and I love them! I have seen you progressed so much and now you two are pros with almost 10,000 subs! Congratulations.
Love, love, love your intro! and Tracie, I love your shawl! What yarn and pattern did you use (I am just assuming that it is one of your lovely creations)? I am new to knitting and I am almost done making my first pair of socks -WaHoo!! - I just really want to make a shawl next. Too advantageous? I hope not - I really want to try. Thanks for the lovely review, btw, business is just bustin' out all over the last couple days. I am so not surprised - you're Awesome! I think I will have to put my socks down for a few days to sew. You, ladies, are the best business choice I have made. You're so fun and so inspiring! (I don't expect you to remember everybody - Me and my girls are 'My 8 Daughters' and made the 'She Loves Me' knot bags.) Have a lovely evening and Thanks again!
I love it too - looking on Ravelry, it looks like Party on my needles - www.ravelry.com/projects/tracieknits/party-on-my-needles. Can't wait to cast this one.
I've missed you ladies!!! I would suggest running a lifeline in your lace project to help prevent tinking. Super easy if you've never done one. Also, love that you're planning to go to Rhinebeck in 2017. We're talking about it, too!!!
Loved the intro to this podcast! It also came on a great day. I watched it at the spa during my mani/pedi. Since I met you at Knit City (thanks to my daughter Kim Nelson of Gingersnapthat), the knitting bug has hit. I've just finished a shawl and three baby outfits....and have purchased enough yarn for about 4 new projects.
Hello ladies! I missed your faces!! So much yarnie goodness and I am definitely trying the Kirby Wirby method. I have wanted to cut my knitting for a long time! I plan to wear Depends during our weekend at Rhinebeck. I'm certain I will pee my pants more than once from laughing so hard. Also, the house is one mile from the Fairgrounds. We can definitely walk it, but a car will be nice at the end of the day.
Ohhhhhh thank goodness you're back - I was getting twitchy checking my subscription notifications every day! I haven't even watched the episode yet (just back from knitting night) but YAY!!!!!
You guys are the best. I love your chemistry - Jodie likes to push the envelop and Tracy is very careful. Don't apologize for a long podcast as we can always pause and pick up where we left off. Don't stop being you. Watching from Toronto Gail
Hi Jodi and Tracie, Lovely episode again with all the enabling ;) Thanks so much for showing my stuff too. Love you guys! Thanks for putting up your podcast for our viewing pleasure. Take Care, SS
Hello SS! Thank you so much for the amazing Party in our Mailbox! It was beyond generous, and SO BEAUTIFUL! I am so glad that you enjoyed the episode...thank so much for watching ;) xx
So happy to see you both! Loved all of the enabling and have a few things in my Etsy cart now. Traci, so glad that you had a wonderful holiday. I bet the head you were talking about was St Catherine of Siena. It is so weird to see it, but amazing at the Same time. have you started planning your next trip yet?
I am so glad that you ladies are back. I missed you so much. I stopped watching another podcast when I got the alert for the new podcast for the grocery girls.
Jodi & Tracie: Thanks for enabling. ;-) I just ordered Dr. Teeth & The electric Mayhem on their Etsy Shop. fyi, I just saw the Stiched Together yarns in a LYS in Northern Michigan, so they might sell in some LYS's.
I know this is way, way late and you probably won't even see it, but I'm working my way backward to No. 1 to catch up (and watching your new ones as they come on YT), and I have to tell you, I absolutely freaking LOVE your intro. SO FUNNY! 🧙♀️ And so magical! 🎩
Another great episode from the sisters! Tracie, I was in Italy in January and all I could focus on before we got there was how much gelato we were going to eat! We ate it everyday too!
You are so right about the grocery girls color way! these will for sure be my first mcn sock. When I got it I squeeeeed! Searching for the perfect pattern. Any good patterned sock suggestions????
I keep looking in the Ravelry for the giveaway threads, but I never find them. I don't knit shawls or socks. But, I love knitting many other items. Smiles, Angela
OH you are making me remember our trip. we were in Europe some same cities as you at the same time. with the difference that we started in Iceland , nice memories Did you see the bike at the front at Stephens shop ? =)
Great podcast. But I beg to differ- I LOVE ❤️ CHIAO GOO red lace needles! The cord doesn't get kinky. If it is long enough the magic loop cross is perfect and doesn't tangle. The points are perfect. I wish all my needles were like these.
Love you both!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your yarn escapades! I do have a question.....When changing colors for your heel.....what method do you use for attaching the new color? I have a son who is 6' 7" and has size 14 feet!!!! I've got some GA Falcons football yarn that I want to use for him.. Those will rock his world! Thanks bunches!!! Beverly
Hi Beverly...arent you awesome to be knitting such giant socks! your son is so lucky! As for changing yarns, i just drop the old and start a new color when i begin the heel flap. I change back to the main color after the heel turn is completed/ I hope this helps!
Good morning and thanks for responding to my inquiry in such a timely manner. You rock! That's exactly how I change colors in other projects but with the socks I thought about perhaps making a "knot" when changing. I get lightheaded when I think about no knots in socks. LOL.....
Hi Astrid! You're so lucky...I left a bit of my heart in the Netherlands...so beautiful, and the people are just lovely! Give that sweet Willemijn a hug from us, please. xxxx

Your podcast made my Friday! Nice intro!
OH you are making me remember our trip. we were in Europe some same cities as you at the same time. with the difference that we started in Iceland , nice memories
Did you see the bike at the front at Stephens shop ? =)
Great podcast. But I beg to differ- I LOVE ❤️ CHIAO GOO red lace needles! The cord doesn't get kinky. If it is long enough the magic loop cross is perfect and doesn't tangle. The points are perfect. I wish all my needles were like these.

How amazing!! I am from the same city in the Netherlands as Willemijn. Isn't that almost scary? Ofcourse I emailed her through Etsy right away 👍🏻☺️
Hi Astrid!
You're so lucky...I left a bit of my heart in the Netherlands...so beautiful, and the people are just lovely!
Give that sweet Willemijn a hug from us, please.

Loooove you two girls!!! Traci, is the shawl your wearing Joji's Party on my needles? It is gorgeous!
Love you guys! And i have been to river city yarns! I found the shop while we were vacationing on our honeymoon in Canada, of course I took my husband with me lol he was so helpful :) may need to move there now that Trump is president. You both are awesome and fun to watch!
I totally feel the love dripping of the screen watching you both.

DEFINITELY on the world knitting tour bucket list!!!
*sigh*
xx
yarn hoarders stash is over whelming, its me but I collect fabric. would love to see the grocery girls stash rooms. :)
Kirbywirby's video is the only way I pick up stitches for afterthought heels now. I do my decreases differently (I add in a couple of short rows, then decrease similar to a star toe), but her method is the only way I've found that *completely* eliminates the holes at the corners of an afterthought heel.
OK! that sounds great too...
Kind of a sock knitting life changer, right?
x
I just started a new pair, and I'm definitely going to check out this video! Tracie is right--it could be a life changer :-)
It's my go to for afterthought heels, but lately I've been doing contrasting color FLK heels. I do have a pair going for afterthought heels, but it's on the back burner right now (so many WIPs!)
Please..... I NEED the Villains colorways🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Brew City doesn’t sell online and there are no stores in my state! And I can’t find any on their list that sells online. Any idea how to get it?? Pleeeeeease!!!
yay! !! you're back!!!! :)
YAY!
YOUR back too!!

Really Jodi, Chaiogoo are my favorite needles. Those and the 4 inch Kniter's Pride Dreames.
Yay!!!!!! You're back!!!!
YAYYYY!!!
You're back too!
xx
I am so trying to catch sock fever!! Struggling through my first pair but am determined to finish come heck or high water!!!
I think knitting the first pair in a heavier yarn (DK or worsted) is a great way to go.... success comes faster and you get a great squishy boot sock....
Go, Renee, GO!!
xx
OMG Dr. Teeth- animal on drums, Janice the golden haired hippy lead singer...
I used to watch the Muppets every Sunday...i can't believe that I forgot this! Thank you
Would you consider doing a giveaway for podcaster watchers? Traci, who is the designer and pattern name of your wrap/shawl.. Love the colors, too!

I didn't see anyone reference this but Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem Band is from The Muppet Show. They are Muppets.
I really like chai goo I don't do socks I really like the points on them and I like the red cord to see the stitches easily,
What do you mean he can not be married to a woman?? HAHAHA yall made me laugh I loove this podcast
OMG.....don't listen to us... we know nothing
