Gotta say - that looks like a great day on the bike! I look forward to forming an aging, gelatinous team of my own and slowly ebbing to the finish line behind you!
My dad worked at Mare Island for 33 years. He retired as the highest placed civilian on the base. If you go into the museum his picture is on the wall. That place is really special to me, love going out there.
Super fun! I really dug the historic tour. I didn't get a chance to finish the whole thing because I had to film other parts of the event. But it's REALLY cool.
That was great Joe. Looked like a lot of fun and such an interesting race. But, best of all? Y’all got to ride Brian’s bike! A lot of peeps would pay mucho dinero for that honor. 😂 By the way, congratulations on second place. That’s not nothin’.💪
4:14 Man I used to ride with "Snap" and bought a ton of MTB shyza from his store ''Gianni Cycling'' (named after his late son) in Occidental back in the mid '90s when ''Major Tom D.'' worked there as the main-man bike repair tech and expert wheel builder. *_I still have a set of 26'' wheels built by ''Major Tom''_* - Back in the days of Bike Polo in Freestone.
That's amazing! Love stories like that. There's so much rad MTB history in our area. I watched Clunkers a few months ago and was blown away by that scene!
@@CaliradoKid Joe you're a fantastic addition to the local scene and definitely uplifting in this time of world chaos. You're welcome at *_MY_* fire anytime * * Shamelessly plagiarized from *_The Man From Snowy River Mountain Creeks, Valley, Plains & Foothills_* 😏
@@CaliradoKid Over the years I've lost touch with *''Major Tom''* but I expect he's still hanging around Sebastopol and involved in some form of the cycling or E-tech industry. He was good people, I hope to someday again ride my old silver MB-1 with him around the Coleman Valley loop.
I'm just glad you caught my sweet heel clicker.
You KNOW I had to keep that in there!
@@CaliradoKid excellent video man. You are really killing it on your edits 🤘

Really nice for the announcer to tell everyone to like and subscribe
...and yet people STILL won't do it. 😂

Nobody does it better. 😂😎
Love the team name “like & subscribe” genius 🤣 …. How long was a lap? Great event
I realized after the fact that we got the announcer to call out “like and subscribe” for us the whole time! 😂. Genius. A lap was about 15 minutes.

RIPPER! Yea man. It was super fun. Now we just need an e-bike division!
That was great Joe. Looked like a lot of fun and such an interesting race. But, best of all? Y’all got to ride Brian’s bike! A lot of peeps would pay mucho dinero for that honor. 😂 By the way, congratulations on second place. That’s not nothin’.💪
It really was a great event. And I think it's the other way around. Brian got the priviledge of having ME on HIS bike! 😂
