MBG for Xbox (PQ 2.4.2) Speedrunning Guide

PlatinumQuest 2.4.2 was released yesterday. Among the many changes, 10 bonus levels were added to MBG (offline only) from MBG for Xbox. I spent roughly 4 hours speedrunning the new levels yesterday and today, and this is the result! These runs are not very optimized, but they do show off some neat paths to get good times on these levels.
Hopefully this guide helps people beat the Gold Times and achieve fast times on these levels!
Levels/Comments:
•The Road Less Traveled - I wasn't quite able to fly directly to the finish, but I'm sure it's possible. Anyway, you can beat the Gold Time by a large margin with the full path (my best is 21 seconds).
•Timely Ascent - The hardest part of this path is timing the jump onto the last moving platform while grabbing the Time Travel.
•Black Diamond
•Divergence
•Cube Root - I'm very happy to finish a run without time restarting! Interestingly, I think the moving platform cycles in this level differ from those in the MBU level of the same name.
•Endurance - I tried a traplaunch near the start for a little while, but I never managed to pull it off.
•Urban Jungle - This level differs significantly from the level of the same name in the CLA and the level of the same name in MBU. In particular, there's one fewer superjump. This meant that I had to do a bit of pathfinding to get a decent time.
•Mountaintop Retreat
•Skate to the Top - Of course, you can beat the Gold Time by a large margin with the full path without the edge hit (my best is 33 seconds).
•Hypercube - This level is included with the MBU Advanced levels in PQ, where the Ultimate Time is set at 15 seconds. Thus I was happy enough with sub-15 for this video, even though my PB (using the same path) is sub-10.
EDIT 1/26/22: Today I came across a UA-cam video by Battlecube314 from 2016, where he beats all my times. What else is new? Here's the link: • Marble Blast Gold: The... . Perhaps I shouldn't be too surprised, since (1) I didn't put too much effort into this video, (2) this video is just meant to help others get good times (not necessarily to show off my speedrunning skills), and (3) Battlecube314 is really good at Marble Blast and has been for a long time (and you should subscribe to his channel).
