7,700 views... think of that as 1 person watching 1540 5 minute videos (which is already a long video) and then multiply that number by 7,700... would be the kinder more gentler you tube view count for sure 11,858,000
A talented group for sure and entertaining but there are still a few rough edges here. Listen to the timing and the improvised solos. It goes off every now and then on Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo and Dobro. Bass and Violin are perfect.
I'm searching for the rough edges, and although I didn't listen to the whole vid, I couldn't find any. Perhaps there on the tunes that they're just learning, but I'm a musician and ex studio player, and even I didn't catch it, but I have heard them not change fast enough before, but maybe I missed the songs
Week to week these extraordinary musicians play and the sound guy is always late on the solos? if not by sight by sound this can be accomplished very easy especially from year to year. Please monitor whats being streamed audibly , and what is visibly happening on the bandstand that way everyone can benefit.
Be grateful we even get to see this at all. They are playing acoustic instruments into mics in a tiny bar streaming across the earth. They are doing their best
Soundman shouldn't be touching anything, they are all acoustic instruments, and room mixed with mics in front of instruments, and one vocal that they all run up too, if someone is running the mix, its what i call playing the soundboard, and this type of music if the mics are set good doesn't require a playing of the soundboard Edit: I don't believe that someone is actually adjusting it constantly is my point, no need to crank up every solo then feather down, that's only in electrical music
Glad to see Time at Hand make the set list! That right thar is a good one
love this show !!!
James on a D18, how good is that?
That version of Sally Goodin' is on par with JD Crowe and the New South.
Maddie studied at Notre Dame , I think. James
