Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, I’ve never been so think we need too. Black Knowl looks quite a big site. Off you go to Lymington. Looking forward to your Isle of White Tour, x Julie and Tony x
Hi bob, jenny & poppy. Aldridge hill is beautiful, my parents went there every year, it was my mum & dad favourite place to take the caravan. Lovely long walks there. Unfortunately my mother passed 3 years ago now & my dad is 93. They were married for 64 years. Which is a triumph. My dad is very active & healthy & says hes going to take the caravan back there for a holiday, so many memories. Have a lovely time on the isle of wight, its beautiful there too. Lots of love. Linda xx ❤
The exact same thing happened when we went on the ferry last year. I also couldn’t hear what he was saying as I should wear hearing aids. Really looking forward to seeing what you visited. Take care Gill
Had holidays as kids on IOW we always went from Lymington, my Dad used to borrow his friends Bedford Dormobile. I used to remember advertising stickers on cars using the strap line “ We’ve been abroad to the Isle of Wight”
Hi Bob & Jenny and wee poppy ‘ it’s a fantastic Island your off to . We have been going there for twenty something years to lodges but we bought a motorhome two years ago and arrange a trip there in it ‘ fantastic time , we did have to hire a car as some roads and towns are a wee bit tight . All The Best 👍
Going to enjoy this 😃 it’s been about 28 years since we were there last so will be interesting to see what we remember and what’s changed 🤔 Can’t think why you nearly said Isle of Man 🇮🇲 nobody ever mentions it 😉🤣 Stay Safe 😜👍
Sure you will some time 😉 the new ferry should arrive Sunday it’s such a lovely island with lots to see and prices are reasonable out of TT MGP times 😃 Are the waxworks still there on IOW 🤔
I suppose with the car it would be Lol you should see the prices at TT time 😳 You didn’t miss anything not going to the waxworks if we remember correctly 😉
Hi Bob and Jenny looking forward to this series of videos (I managed to turn off notifications so I am catching up!) love the Isle of Wight we went a few years ago and had a lovely week we stayed in bembridge we would like to go back so much to see and do! Wish we had picked the wightlink ferry seems much better than red funnel and havjng to drive all through Southampton! Was lovely seeing your drive around lyndhurst we love it all round there been many times always so beautiful isn’t it All the best Daniel
Really looking forward to this tour, see if it brings back any memories and if it has changed etc. We sailed from Portsmouth is that Southampton? Have a great time
Hello Bob, Jenny and of course Poppy So pleased you are going to my favourite place in uk. Really recommend that you drive along the Military Road from Ventnor towards Freshwater so you can see Tennyson in the distance. The views the other way are are lovely too. Do this in the MH so you can see the views. If you want a walk our favourite is up Tennyson Down from Freshwater Bay. It starts by the old toilet block at cookie bootleg broke. You can walk down towards Alum Bay and catch the bus back or just go down the way you went up. Recommend Quarr Abbey for a visit Look forward to your vlogs Thank you 🙂🙂
Hi Bob, does Jenny double up with a map or just her phone as a back up? We went to isle of white to early last year as nothing was open (tooo early) but looking forward to your trip x
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Hi Bob, did you book direct with Whitelink and was the car done as a trailer? Have looked at booking with very similar outfit as yours and the prices are ridiculous…high two hundreds each way!! Thanks.
Welcome to the Isle of Wight Bob, Jenny and Poppy. Lived here for the whole of my 57 years and absolutely love it. Hope you enjoy your time here.
We really did enjoy it, thank you.

Good to hear about how much your mum and dad loved the place.
I thought he said, ‘ Three for the boat’ lane three. This was funny! 😂
I went cycling with my Cyclists Touring Club buddy's all around the island. We cycled down from Swindon in Wiltshire. A lovely journey.
Adding to that I would like to take my campervan one day. Busy going to other places for now.
Love the Isle of Wight. We are going again in September. It is so peaceful and so much to do and see! X
It's so good!
The exact same thing happened when we went on the ferry last year. I also couldn’t hear what he was saying as I should wear hearing aids. Really looking forward to seeing what you visited. Take care Gill
Thanks, I need to get my ears upgraded too!
The Isle of Wight is firmly on our bucket list.
Have been there on the lsle of white, a few years ago, Bonchurch, very nice, nice little shops,
Had holidays as kids on IOW we always went from Lymington, my Dad used to borrow his friends Bedford Dormobile. I used to remember advertising stickers on cars using the strap line “ We’ve been abroad to the Isle of Wight”
Yes, it still feels like somewhere special.
I used to have cousins on the Isle of Wight. Beautiful island.
The very first C&M clubsite we stayed at when we got our first motorhome was Blacknowle.
A nice site for your first one.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Yes, enjoyed it immensely.
Enjoy the IOW! Been a few times over the years, including one year during the Vespa Invasion!😂
I've never watched that Bob Earnshaw .....is he any good 😂😂😂
He's certainly done a few campsites! 😂👍

Yes, some of the roads are particularly overgrown too!

I'd been hoping to get to the IOM!

Thanks, we were put off by the cost of getting the MH across the IOM. Didn't visit any waxworks I'm afraid.

Bob ,Bananas, good Source of Potassium ,Good for the Memory 😮
Trouble with bananas in this weather is they go off quickly!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo use the Fridge 👍
I use Jenny's memory instead...😆
Your lucky we always have to pay more for an earlier ferry Bob
Nice and polite fellow at the checkin Bob!😒
I couldn't hear what he was saying! 😊
Hi Bob, does Jenny double up with a map or just her phone as a back up? We went to isle of white to early last year as nothing was open (tooo early) but looking forward to your trip x
We tend to rely on the Avtex Tourer Two with a paper map as backup.
@BobEarnshawMoHo Ah yes we do the same, just wondered, thank you x
I hope you tell us in next video how much it cost.
We may do a review video, but it was £250 return with the car.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Hi Bob, did you book direct with Whitelink and was the car done as a trailer? Have looked at booking with very similar outfit as yours and the prices are ridiculous…high two hundreds each way!! Thanks.
No we booked through the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the car was added as a trailer. We booked in October last year.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thanks for that, I hadn’t thought of the CMC. Have just had a look and it’s a big difference. 👍
