In my opinion, TXT's version is much sweeter and more gentle than the original sung by Shawn Mendes. I don't know why that is, but it might be because their voices are a little bit higher and smoother than Shawn's. They sound innocent, almost petulant for a lack of better word. Shawn's voice is very distinctive, it's more gritty and has more power to it, whereas the TXT's vocals are just beginning to mature. I absolutely love the contrast between the two versions, and I can't wait for more covers. They slayed it!!
