It does NOT have a super sensitive side/face that my big fingers wrap around, and accidentally do weird things on the nternet, while I am searching for the NUMBER KEYS, to enable me to use a dial pad, to make ...? Yep a ruddy phone call. So this was the ONLY PHONE the shop had, that allowed me to upgrade my old Nokia 6120 classic, as they were REMOVING the "classic's service data, and forcing me to buy a NEWER Internet capable ophone, except for ONE massive failure. THIS PHONE - even though I am now on a DATA p[lan with them, the daMned thing cannot access the data service?
I'd call it moderately loud at maximum; a quick ad-hoc, app-based check of volume near the 2660 Flip shows rough volume at around 80dB or thereabouts. One option if your father uses a hearing aid and it's Bluetooth compatible would be to pair to the phone as it also supports Bluetooth (though not all hearing aids do).
I like CAT B22 FLIP because it's powered by Android Go, and it got an touch screen. But the company that makes it are dead so yeah...need to find something else.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. A Phone that allows you to use Messaging and Calls but almost nothing else. I kind of knew the camera was going to be jank when I was looking at it's description on JB. The little browser that uses Sim card Usage though is a interesting move and it looks like it barely functions with none of the pictures rendering properly. But yeah! It's a Feature Phone! A Dumb Phone people considerably call it. I am hoping to swap my smartphone out for one of these at some point because of the amount of time I am on it constantly watching UA-cam and never moving around.
It's so ugly. The few feature phone Nokias I have had when I was younger had a beautiful menu transition comparable to modern smartphones. They really have not put much of an effort into the planning process of this phone.
Hai Bro. Could you please confirm what are language option available in this phone and also please check and let me know is the phone contact display option like Name +number is available
Surprisingly I want a phone to ring someone & someone to ring me- none of which you addressed. Amazingly this is what a phone is basically for- none of which you addressed - pathetic - learned zero. !!
Note: the sh**ty keypess sound CAN NOT BE DISABLED! Only by lowering sound volume to 0! Which normal developer could do this?? Also the volume buttons are super soft, so your grandma or mom will disable the sound just by taking the phone in hand! This should be called Nokia 2760 S*it edition. (compared to Nokia 2760 from 2007 which is nearly the best clamshell from Nokia, still working ok(!), but fell badly.. Would I change it for this ****? I don't want to!)
B/S You did NOT press the down volume button far enough Or the ring LEFT side. It is also "acts" as the down setting button (at either side of "menu" select) Go to personalisation Select SOUNDS SCROLL UP to unhide the KEYPAD VOLUME setting Using the ring LEFT edge - press it to bring the number value down until 0 appears The display box WILL HAVE RED LETTERING (for "Keypad volume") And it will also have a RED SURROUND "box" O will be displayed ((( and also the word SILENT too))) Thus It does go to 0 where it also displays SILENT MODE Instantly, there is no blop sound, when any button is pressed.
100% true - but there’s a market out there that explicitly doesn’t want a smartphone, for a variety of reasons. They’re not reasons that work for me (and at a guess, you either) - but this is an option for them.

There see, SENILE OLD MEN should do the (CORRECT) settings first.
Before commenting ... THAT THEY ARE SENILE.
i want one were internet is not option at all. and no facebook.
most of thseses fliphones avec about $50 to $80 wireless charger included, so $130 is overcharge for nokia logo and nostalgia, theses devices costs nothing to produce.
4g flip is more expensive. The 50 dollar ones are mostly 2g phones
@@loveisthething alcatel 3082
Does it support VoLTE?
Vodafone doesn’t think it does.
Don't believe it does (though untested from this end, sorry).
Thanks
You skipped the bit about how you got the back off. That was the only thing I was interested in
At the bottom of the phone there’s this slot you can pry open
are you able to setup proton mail on this phone? I keep getting an error
also get the nokia 2780 flip it fixes all these issues including it has type c usb
Mine doesn’t show the date on the secondary screen tho , what may be the problem ?
My review model's gone back to Nokia/HMD, but from memory it's set in the settings app..
@@AlexKidman cannot find it anywhere
You got copy phone man. It must be shown date on the second sceen automatically
@@superman-sn7xh nah many people also do not get it
How do you recup all your numbers ?
I just recently bought this phone it is like you Play Store or WhatsApp support it like you just want to use 4G network and Internet browser Opera mini things that are possible in browser they are only possible in this phone none other thing are available otherwise this is a feature of phone like outer display and functioning like wow but camera should be like a nice bit
I have the same colour phone. But how did you get gold round buttons? Mine is black.
I'm going to guess colour variations by market -- this is how it came out of the box in the Australian market, but perhaps they've done differently elsewhere? Certainly not something done after the fact, because this was a loan phone from HMD Global, gone back the way it came to me.
@@AlexKidman i am from Bangladesh. mine is made in india. The navigation buttons are black.
@@superman-sn7xh That's genuinely unusual -- even the official press images for the 2660 Flip have it in gold, eg: images.ctfassets.net/u4kpzn5cffwn/OLIdvPYlLpWoH2tOofSHv/da05d3d68ee54b73de15ede22c74a7f3/nokia_2660_Flip-2023-open_back-black-1.png

Nah the one they gave you was a "promo" phone (all the regular retail phones are blackkeys, period)
):05 WRONG, I got this exact phone for ONE reason only.
It has BIG NUMBERS that I can easily see
After all, what F use is a phone you cannot dial?
The second reason is this.
THIS PHONE - even though I am now on a DATA p[lan with them, the daMned thing cannot access the data service?
will this support 5g sim ?
It's 4g max
Esse telefone funciona whatsapp?. Obrigada
No
Hey, have this phone the dictionnary t9 ? Thanks
It does
Can you download song to the phone from computer?
Yes
My dad I hard of hearing what's to no how loud the ring tone is
I'd call it moderately loud at maximum; a quick ad-hoc, app-based check of volume near the 2660 Flip shows rough volume at around 80dB or thereabouts.
My moms getting this for me as my first phone
I just ordered this in green also just a second backup phone

is whatsapp installed on this phone ? i see facebook is .cheers
Not on 2660 but 2780 has one you can use
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. A Phone that allows you to use Messaging and Calls but almost nothing else. I kind of knew the camera was going to be jank when I was looking at it's description on JB. The little browser that uses Sim card Usage though is a interesting move and it looks like it barely functions with none of the pictures rendering properly. But yeah! It's a Feature Phone! A Dumb Phone people considerably call it. I am hoping to swap my smartphone out for one of these at some point because of the amount of time I am on it constantly watching UA-cam and never moving around.
Does it receive photos through messages?
I need me one of those.
It's so ugly. The few feature phone Nokias I have had when I was younger had a beautiful menu transition comparable to modern smartphones. They really have not put much of an effort into the planning process of this phone.
U sound like Captain Jack Sparrow
It's st,upid that it's so unnecessarily enormously huge.
hi
Hai Bro. Could you please confirm what are language option available in this phone and also please check and let me know is the phone contact display option like Name +number is available
i have iphone 11
Buy the pink Barbie flip phone. It's much more fun
I have actually chased on one -- and I can't get one in for review!
hello
Hey 👋 there
WhatsApp is work r not
nokia 2780 4g and nokia 6400 4g
If u don’t like this choose the Nokia 2780
50 euro on my country
😊 you have got for 10000 but I have got for 4855
Bro really hates this.
Surprisingly I want a phone to ring someone & someone to ring me- none of which you addressed. Amazingly this is what a phone is basically for- none of which you addressed - pathetic - learned zero. !!
He literally talked about calling quality in the video
Note: the sh**ty keypess sound CAN NOT BE DISABLED! Only by lowering sound volume to 0! Which normal developer could do this?? Also the volume buttons are super soft, so your grandma or mom will disable the sound just by taking the phone in hand! This should be called Nokia 2760 S*it edition. (compared to Nokia 2760 from 2007 which is nearly the best clamshell from Nokia, still working ok(!), but fell badly.. Would I change it for this ****? I don't want to!)
B/S
You did NOT press the down volume button far enough
Or the ring LEFT side.
It is also "acts" as the down setting button (at either side of "menu" select)
Go to personalisation
Select SOUNDS
SCROLL UP to unhide the KEYPAD VOLUME setting
Using the ring LEFT edge - press it to bring the number value down until 0 appears
The display box WILL HAVE RED LETTERING (for "Keypad volume")
And it will also have a RED SURROUND "box"
O will be displayed ((( and also the word SILENT too)))
Thus
It does go to 0 where it also displays SILENT MODE
Instantly, there is no blop sound, when any button is pressed.
1st...😅😅😅
Not recommended.. Not worth it. Prefer 2780/2760/2720..
Обзор ни о чем👎
Talk too much 🙄
THIS for 120 bucks????? C'mon man, these monet can easily get you a smartphone. A shitty one for sure, but still way better than this.
100% true - but there’s a market out there that explicitly doesn’t want a smartphone, for a variety of reasons. They’re not reasons that work for me (and at a guess, you either) - but this is an option for them.
