I currently do not own one of 22xx series but I do have the 2430A, 2465 and a older 475A. I even still use the HP 7470A plotters shown in this video. These scopes may be old but they are still very useful even today.
Some years ago I got a 2245 that was industrial surp. Did not get used much as far as I know. Been reliable but I did not know about the self diagnostics menu till recently! Not needing it really. I use it in preference to my Tek TDS color scope most of the time. Paid 200 for the 2245 but only 90 for the color scope!
I have to believe this transition to digital storage was a game changer in diagnostic and testing. I also miss the voices of the narrators of old videos!
Alex: A low cost Oscilloscope. Remember to give your response in the form of a question. Player: What is Tektronix? Did anyone else notice the Jeopardy color and font in the opening titles?
Is there a video on the 2247A? That was a groundbreaking analog scope with its integrated digital co-processor with setup memory, on screen cursers in volts and time/frequency. I bought one new when it was first released, and it is still my 'main scope' residing with an array of 7000 series, including the 7104 1gig.
My impression of these scopes was: "cheap". And flimsy. Knobs made for toddlers. Unsatisfying detents. Case that rattled. Switching power supply with noticeable leakage. Everything screamed "Made In Hurry" and made to a price. The diametrical opposite of the gold-plated 465 or 454.

Could you convert this to 4:3 aspect so it retains the original formatting?
