I see a lot of comparison in the comments and this is what I think: Carrie: Stylish, trendy Charlotte: Elegant and classic Sam: Innovative and daring Miranda: relatable and practical
I agree, except for Carrie...I'd say she dresses like her personality...Air-Head, and Flighty... just cause a dress cost as much as two months rent doesn't mean it looks good.
I loved the newspaper print dress. And yes the ivory satin dress when she said that 'Hubbell' line to Big and the pink floral print dress from when she fell into the water with Big were also beautiful. The newspaper print dress is among my faves though.
Uhhhhh Really? the Naked Dress? The Oscar de La Renta Dress? The Neon Underwear dress? The Book Cover dress? The Cavalli dress that she almost threw out? C'mon MsMojo!
Charlotte was everyone's easy favourite when it came to outfits, because she was always so classy and put-together. Samantha and Carrie were a bit more risky with their outfit choices, and Miranda was - at least for me - super relatable :p
@@hollygrace6814 Also, the clothes in the show were never really 'in fashion' at the time, Carrie had her own style. So her looks are timeless. Nobody was mixing vintage with high fashion like she did. Many of her outfits were unique because they were vintage. Many of the looks in season 1 were 'of the time' and do look dated. Like the satin slip dresses for example. But from season 2 onwards where she starts to get a more unique and eclectic style, those were her best looks. And a pretty dress never goes out of style. Like that pink dress she wears for lunch with Big, stunning.
Carrie's fashion was amazing, but Samantha was the best. I'm probably judt being bias because Samantha's my favorite...but every single outfit she's ever worn was SUPERB. And I loved her jewelry😭
Great picks. I'm sure it wasn't easy to narrow Carrie's countless legendary looks into a short list. The newspaper dress is seriously amazing, especially on SJP's incredible body.
I can't believe you forgot the naked dress, but I forgive you because you included that Paris gown and honored her other Paris looks. The ensembles she wore in Paris were probably my favorite of the entire series, which is bittersweet being as she was miserable and lonely there.
afrochick that dress is a one of a kind. In fact, they had an incredibly difficult time finding it again for Carrie to wear in the movie, but what a fabulous dress! Christian Dior!
dsatt57 Couldn't agree more. Too bland, too boring, and the bodice smashes her boobs in, not attractive! She never had good cleavage really... it goes straight down (see the pink dress she fell into the water with Mr. Big) instead of up and out, if you know what I mean. She needs support. I loved the fur. I loved that she can run in heels. So can I! I loved what she wore in Paris with the marred white shoe, flower sweater...green fluff dress, blue coat, the missed-her-book-party dress. She had a lot of great clothes. Charlotte had a few good pieces, too.
Also loved the Roberto Cavalli dress she wore in the ep she had the big fight with Aiden. The dress she wore on the ferry boat where she ran into Big was also sensational too.
For me it's the Boat house dress all the way... ( "I no longer smell of pond." Lol! ) The Galliano dress is fantastic too! And what about the harlequin outfit Carrie wore to the haute cafeteria restaurant in the episode Hot Child in the city?
my favorite look is when we get to see that Carrie is really great at making anything work, is the white shirt, black belt she wears after falling into the pond. It was effortless and fantastic.
If we are talking most iconic Carrie look then, absolutely, that horrible fur coat should be #1. If we are talking best looks, that coat does not belong on this list. It might be one of the worst things she wears in the whole series.
Absolutely! Even though I loved the fashion of the series, I hated the use of real fur. And sadly, I do think it had a hand in making fur 'cool' again, back in the late 90s when it came out. Even if it's vintage fur, it's still wrong to use animal suffering in fashion. And this wasn't the only fur fashion item they used. The other women wore quite a few pieces in season 6.
the fur coat getting out of Big's car when returning to NYC is not the same fur coat. Although totally inappropriate for her deliberate meeting with Natasha, I do love the newspaper dress. I'm thinking the dress was chosen to emphasize the difference between the two women; Natasha was the class and Carrie the trash.
Vintage Hippie I agree. Not same coat. And I agree with the dress, which I love. I'd wear it if I could look that good in it, lol (and afford it)! Not sure if you ever read or watched behind the scene commentary, but they purposely put Natasha in beige, cream, or tan to emphasize how plain and boring she was according to Michael Patrick King.
While I rarely agreed with Carrie's fashion choices, I liked that they were always bold. Just because Natasha was rich doesn't mean she was classy: she was super dull, and so was her fashion sense. That tablecloth had more personality.
Natasha always wore creme, beige, blush tones before she found out big slept with carrie. After that she wore more stronger pink colours. To showcase how how bland she was and started slowly to become stronger
So many other options should be on this list. The naked dress, the Oscar de LaRenta pink dress, the sailor moon outfit, that dress she wore on her date with the jazz man, the white dress from the first movie and those huge flowers... Do you guys even watch the show?
I thought the blue coat & bra with golden panties was trashy. Some of her character's fashion choices were questionable. Many I didn't like. Always liked what Charlotte wore. Classic.
She didn’t choose that one. And all fashion is questionable because it’s subjective. But Patricia Fields created a global phenomenon for a decade. Impressive.
thank you for the lol 😂 as Carrie felt on the floor! first i laugh cause the dress was a no go 🙅 and than she had the nightmare of every model!! the flat walk😂☝🏻🥰 but i really love her!
Thank you. Bless..still intersecting to see how everyone see differently yet we are one. Compliment.. not agree with everything..will speak of what I love..style & opportunities to create value
My favourite is Carrie at end of Short Comings ep at the end she has a figure hugging plain dress with sunglasses and looks divine. And Carrie at beginning of first movie in that white suit, pink striped shirt and loose tie. Her hair looks fabulous too ❤
Paris was perfection for Carrie. Her very least scene when "John" calls get and she's wearing the fur, the bright blue, the pink, is horrendous compared to the Paris looks.
So many stunning looks. But for me - it's got to be the Vivienne Westwood wedding gown. !!!! Carrie wrote: " ... and just like that, Vivienne Westwood kicked my sweet little suit's ass" LOL!!!
I want to re-watch this series! Hopefully, I can and then get some inspiration! Maybe I can find some similar pieces of Carrie's wardrobe at my favorite consignment shop!
So glad the Christian Dior dress made the list. Love the way she looks in that dress. I would have put the "naked dress" and the "Hubble" dress on the list, too.
I couldn't help but notice how every great outfit that Carrie has worn has a story attached to it with not-so-great outcome.. The jeweled undies are fab but she falls, the 'woe-dress' in Paris, even the white tutu gets splashed over.. Almost like women can look so prefect and have such imperfect endings. Almost like dressed up for disaster.
I luv the newspaper dior dress a lot which had a lot of drama aftr she met natasha...where she walks in a slow mo...my fav. Scene......and second the white flower dress during the opening of the SATC first movie....
For me, that cream slip dress when she calls Big Hubbell as she stands outside the Plaza at the rehearsal dinner is stunning even now.
It is
I see a lot of comparison in the comments and this is what I think:
Carrie: Stylish, trendy
Charlotte: Elegant and classic
Sam: Innovative and daring
Miranda: relatable and practical
Carrie: creative and risk-taking
Charlotte: timeless and feminine
Sam: bold and exuberant
Miranda: poised and professional
👌🏽
I agree, except for Carrie...I'd say she dresses like her personality...Air-Head, and Flighty... just cause a dress cost as much as two months rent doesn't mean it looks good.
I loved the newspaper print dress. And yes the ivory satin dress when she said that 'Hubbell' line to Big and the pink floral print dress from when she fell into the water with Big were also beautiful. The newspaper print dress is among my faves though.
Those are my top 3 favorites too! The newspaper dress is my favorite just because it’s so bold.
Moi aussi! Those are the best.
Uhhhhh Really? the Naked Dress? The Oscar de La Renta Dress? The Neon Underwear dress? The Book Cover dress? The Cavalli dress that she almost threw out? C'mon MsMojo!
The Cavalli was a shredded style top that she pairs with a plainer skirt, it's not a dress, although I'd love it both ways :)
Omggg yess I remember all those outfits and they were fabulous.
THE 👏 NEON 👏 UNDERWEAR 👏 DRESS 👏 YAAAAASSSSS!!!! 🤤🤤
Theres so many, you can't do just top 10! :D
I have an Oscar de La Renta lamp. Does that count?
I also like the pink dress she wears when she and big go to dinner and he tells her he's engaged.
Me too! One of my favorites. She looked angelic.
Yes totally. I like that dress better than the dress from the episode where Carrie meets with Big again after having ended the affair
Agreed.. One best definition of classy, modern without being uptight. A pure match
Absolutely! That's one of my fav Carrie looks!!
My fave!
I LOVE THE "good bye" Big outfit. The Sparkly coat is in my dreams, the lace kind of flapper dress, the Lous. So beautiful
The Oscar de la Renta dress the Russian gave her to go to the opera.
Tucker Plum yes, the dress from Petrovsky!!
For me Charlotte was the one with a great taste. Always in style.
Alla Vnukova -It was Patricia Field's taste.
Charlotte was always classy, I oved her '50s- and '60s- inspired dresses.
+SarahConnor, yep, she was the embodiment of elegance.
Charlotte was everyone's easy favourite when it came to outfits, because she was always so classy and put-together. Samantha and Carrie were a bit more risky with their outfit choices, and Miranda was - at least for me - super relatable :p
Helen Mudge Agree although she reminded me of 1980s prep sometimes
It is astonishing how most of these outfits would be NOW even today, it just shows how much was this show ahead of its time.
againme1 no, it just shows how fashion is recycled
@@bigtwinslittletwins it was also ahead of its time though, Sex and the city is somehow timeless
@@hollygrace6814 Also, the clothes in the show were never really 'in fashion' at the time, Carrie had her own style. So her looks are timeless. Nobody was mixing vintage with high fashion like she did. Many of her outfits were unique because they were vintage.

And a pretty dress never goes out of style. Like that pink dress she wears for lunch with Big, stunning.
It’s her flawless physique…Carrie (Sarah) could wear a paper bag with a Chanel brooch and still look fabulous 🥰
Okay so now you've got to do the other three girls.
Tina Burton Yes. Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha
@Tina Burton 🤣😂😂🤣😂
YES PLEASE
I agree
Ladies
That newspaper dress is amazing
Carrie's fashion was amazing, but Samantha was the best. I'm probably judt being bias because Samantha's my favorite...but every single outfit she's ever worn was SUPERB. And I loved her jewelry😭
My fav is the gold fringe dress Carrie wears on her first date with the "Russian". She glows in that dress.
wow.. where's the NAKED dress that she wore for her and Big's first date? what a bummer.
Omg I never noticed that Heidi was wearing the dress Carrie was supposed to wear until now! Lol
Μe too! And i have seen that episode at least 7-8 times!
To be honest, Heidi Klum is prettier than Sarah Jessica Parker.
Same xD
@@michaellovely6601 by a LANDSLIDE!
DO YOU GUYS WACTH THE SHOW? #1 IS THA OSCAR DE LA RENTA PINK DRESS OMG !!!!
I KNOW RIGHT????????
LOOOOOOVE that pink dress :)
Raquel Orpiada no idea thats an iconic fashion momen in the show.
Harivaindaran K.Veeriah i really think they dont watch the show their list are always mess up (in my opinion)
Katie Woo I knoww 😍😍!!!!!
The most fabulous fictional character ever on TV 😄😍😍. My fav look was the newspaper dress 🖤🖤
Levonnga Collins still trying to find that dress
the newspaper print dress is my all time fave :)
It’s from John Galliano and is custom made i think so there is only a very small number in the world
afrochick that dress is a one of a kind. In fact, they had an incredibly difficult time finding it again for Carrie to wear in the movie, but what a fabulous dress! Christian Dior!
I actually love the Place de la Concorde outfit... with the sparklessss blazer and Tiffany ballerina tulle skirt... so romantic
"I'm drunk. I'm drunk at VOGUE." Still makes me giggle.
I loved how Miranda looked back at big during his call like WTF
Right !!!
I literally love this show so much
hi

YOU FORGOT THE NAKED DRESS HOW DARE YOUUU
Gael Badillo 🙌 thank you! Yess!
Yasss! The naked dress on her first date with Big!
Omg. I really thought that was #1.
yes omg that should be the first
Exactly!! The naked dress should've been in this Top 10. I honestly thought the tutu would be at nr 1
The wedding guest dress washes her out and makes her look anemic. I never understand why this look pops up on red carpets.
YES!!
dsatt57 Couldn't agree more.
Thank you! That dress looks horrible on her, so unflattering for her body type and it's surprising cause SJP can pull off almost e everything
Agreed
I hated the wedding guest dress because it doesn't fit her bosom area. It makes her flat-chested and makes her have 4 boobs. It is weird.
That newspaper dress 😍 All time fave 🔥
Also loved the Roberto Cavalli dress she wore in the ep she had the big fight with Aiden. The dress she wore on the ferry boat where she ran into Big was also sensational too.
I L♥️VED the Newspaper Dress 😍
My favourite was the Oscar de La Renta pink dress. It's perfect.
I love that Newspaper Dress!
I need to see this video done for all of the girls in the show :)
Anyone else just scrolling down in the comments

Me!
The newspaper dress yeahs!
The coat its ok, but for me the most iconic its the newspaper dress, this is why they repeat it!
If we are talking most iconic Carrie look then, absolutely, that horrible fur coat should be #1. If we are talking best looks, that coat does not belong on this list. It might be one of the worst things she wears in the whole series.

@@leopardprints Samantha wore a skunk lol
Especially in the movies when she visits Miranda on new Year's Eve and wears it over her PJs. I mean... that was the worst.
the naked dress is what should have replaced the fur coat
I agree this is one of the worst things that Carrie wore. There was so many other pretty dresses that could have made it onto this list.
I'm absolutely in love with dior newspaper outfit, it's gorgeous 😍
I love the newspaper Dress 😍
What the funk the pink Oscar de la rents should be on the list
Miranda’s dress at the wedding was goat.
OMG it's even better than Gossip girl wardrobe... it's so gorgeous and amaaazing
What? The pink Oscar De La Renta dress that Aleksandr bought her didn't even make 'honorable mentions'? That dress was FAB!!!
The tutu should be N.1
the fur coat getting out of Big's car when returning to NYC is not the same fur coat. Although totally inappropriate for her deliberate meeting with Natasha, I do love the newspaper dress. Natasha always wore creme, beige, blush tones before she found out big slept with carrie. After that she wore more stronger pink colours. To showcase how how bland she was and started slowly to become stronger
Trash? 😂 That dress was Galliano.
Carries abs were on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 she gave me & still gives me confidence bcuz i have the same body type and she is always very confident

The dress that she wore while going to Vogue office was also gorgeous
This show is amazing, love it! Never liked the pink louboutins though, they seemed out of place with the outfit.
Person totally!
Brandon Gurl I couldn't agree more. Those shoes were ghastly. I didn't feel bad for her when Miranda did her number on them.
Brandon Gurl THANK YOU. They were horrid!
Those were not pretty
Oh! The elegant light blue dress she wore to he party in episode “splat” season 6
Impressive.
OMG! I really didn't agree with ten through two, except for the tutu but your number one is my ABSOLUTE favorite also!!!! Great choice ⭐💯❤️🙏😍👍👏🤩💃🔥
Great choices! Love them all.
The newspaper dress has always been my fave.😊
That gorgeous mini dress she wears when she had her first date with Aleksandr Petrovsky
Yesss loved all her outfitsss💖
Let's not forget the outfits were iconic but the shoes OMG the heels were so iconicly fabulous.
thank you for the lol 😂 as Carrie felt on the floor! first i laugh cause the dress was a no go 🙅 and than she had the nightmare of every model!! the flat walk😂☝🏻🥰 but i really love her!

OMG! How effin' dare you Ms. Mojo! The Manolo Blanik Mary Jane's. They needed to be in here!!
I am such a big fan! I love SATC!! :D
My favourite is Carrie at end of Short Comings ep at the end she has a figure hugging plain dress with sunglasses and looks divine. And Carrie at beginning of first movie in that white suit, pink striped shirt and loose tie. Her hair looks fabulous too ❤
OMG you have to just love SJP outfits on SATC they were and sti are so iconic .
Wow, I really thought the naked dress was going to be number 1.
She still got it!!!!!👍
I agree with EVERY LAST PARIS OUTFIT, but some of these were so mediocre in comparison to some of the others that should have made this list.
Paris was perfection for Carrie. Her very least scene when "John" calls get and she's wearing the fur, the bright blue, the pink, is horrendous compared to the Paris looks.
For me it Carrie Bradshaw always telling it straight from the heart
You definitely need a part 2 and while you’re at it, do one for Samantha too 😊
The red long sleeve crop top and matching skirt that she wears on her birthday 😻
Top 10 best Samantha looks next❤️
So many stunning looks. But for me - it's got to be the Vivienne Westwood wedding gown. !!!! Carrie wrote: " ... and just like that, Vivienne Westwood kicked my sweet little suit's ass" LOL!!!
Some of the outfits are debatable but such a wonderful character and amazing actor
U r my Hollywood dress icon, Ms. Parker....u look stunning with ur high heels....
How did one of the wedding dresses from the movie not make this list? Or at Least the Blue loubtoins(sorry for the spelling) she got married in 🤔
Channing Brady she got married in blue manolo blanik
Oh shit...my bad. Ive seen that movie god knows how many times and shouldve knew that 😦
Or that costume she wear when she got arrested smoking weed. I liked that
Those blue shoes were Manlolas

My fav was the newsprint dress
Pink dress Oscar de la Renta???? 😍😍😍💖💖💖

The jeweled undies are fab but she falls, the 'woe-dress' in Paris, even the white tutu gets splashed over.. Almost like women can look so prefect and have such imperfect endings. Almost like dressed up for disaster.
The oversized fur coat is also featured on season 2, just with a slight modification that makes it appear shorter.
Everything from the Paris episode should be 1-5 . Those were her best looks
The polka dot dress from Paris should be number one ☝🏽
I luv the newspaper dior dress a lot which had a lot of drama aftr she met natasha...where she walks in a slow mo...my fav. Scene......and second the white flower dress during the opening of the SATC first movie....
Please make a video like this but with Samantha ❤️ she's so much more iconic

The animal cruelty coat.
Willam from the 4th season of Ru Paul’s drag race actually wore that exact blue D&G outfit on her season
I loved that red dress she spent all her money on to impress Natasha, but she never appeared to the occasion.
