Taiwan is not now, or never was a part of CCP. Taiwan was created by Chiang Kai Shek! Chiang Kai Shek was the only leader to fight back against Japanese i WW2.
Stealth is the key, the more difficult to detect a submarine the better it is, I'd love to see a couple of those subs serving to the Chilean Navy although we already have Scorpene class this ones overcome in many ways our fleet, cheers!!

if ever philippines will plan to buy a submarines they should acquire A26 saab submarine.. Always in awe with saab technology..
SAAB won't sell it it's supposed to replace the Södermanland class submarine. The most dangerous advanced technology submarine in the world.

You're forgetting the basing, logistics, and training requirements to go with a submarine purchase.
saab has offered the philippines the gripen fighter jet so I guess it is no problem to offer even these submarines to you if there is an interest.
@@Nubbe999 Våra flygplan och våra ubåtar har ganska olika intressen och spår dom måste följa.
Eftersom att hela vår ubåtsflotta bygger på att icke bli hittade i strid med den teknologi vi har kan vi ej sälja dom eftersom andra länder då vet hur båten fungerar och det finns då väldigt stor chans att dom säljer informationen till andra länder såsom till USA eller Ryssland etc.
Dock har Gripen planen en mycket mindre klassificering av självklara anledningar.
Tror inte heller vi säljer någon klass av skepp vi har om man inte räknar STRB-90 etc då.
@@AnonyMous-ql9nj Ķänns spontant som gripen är mer avancerat än ubåtarna och även de byggda för att inte upptäckas. När det gäller ubåtarna är det väll mest motorn som är lite speciell men känns som mycket är allmänt känt
Dobra oferta, jednak sama Szwecja może mieć problem z udźwignięciem tego tematu. Zarówno jeśli chodzi i okręty podwodne jak i o Grippeny NG i dalsze wersje najlepsza była by ścisła współpraca technologiczna i przemysłowa z polską. Rozłożenie produkcji oraz zakup przez oba kraje oby tych produktów oraz licencje na ich sprzedaż .
It would be a great opportunity for Poland if PGZ should put polish engineers to work on developing A26 together with SAAB. It's a chance for an ongoing successfull cooperation.

good for shallow waters, like Baltic or North Sea... Stirling engines - are best way in comparison of traditional diesel-electric or chemical generators... but weapon, I m not sure...

Yes. It will have the same painting system as our other subs. Im not sure, but I think so. Because our painting systems we have now, is top secret. / painter for swedish subs.

Similar to the german Type 212...
this is a AIP sub, the 212 is a hydrogen full cell sub, both use diesel but chose different ways of propulsion when not using a snorkel and the diesel generators. I believe the A 26 has a composite sail, which would make it harder to detect when traveling on the surface. Both very competent subs, both managed to sneek up to a US nimitz class battle group undetected, so much so that the US leased one of the gotland class to practice.

There will not be any A26. You know why? You dont know, but I can tell you. When Saab took over the shipyards. They deleted the older ones who know could build a submarine. Today its younger ones, who never seen a sub in their life.

August Jonasson Nej. Men gå in på varvet och lyssna på vad precis vartenda människa säger. Dom som kan tänka sig ta åt sig arbetet, dom vill inte ha Saab lönen. Jag vill inte heller ha Saab lönen. Jag vet misstagen med ubåtarna som ligger på varv idag och det är ungt folk som har begått dom misstagen. Folk som ej ha fått lära sig av dom äldre som just Saab skickade hem. Det kan bli en A26a. Men inte än på många år.

Size, or the presence of a nuclear reactor, doesn't make a submarine any more or less advanced.
Sarge Rho Electric subs are quieter than nuclear in most cases. And this one even more since it runs a none vibrating AIP system.
Patrick Lundström That's kind of my point, in response to OP. Just because it isn't nuclear, doesn't mean it's not highly advanced.
