Two minor suggestions with the Imperial ship: 1) If you have CPU to spare, try to add a pair of reverse thrusters and maybe down thrusters at the rear of the ship. Ideally large (3x1x1) thrusters, but mediums would do. Otherwise if you do end up losing the nose of your ship you won't be able to stop at all, which will make it nearly impossible to position on a repair pad or at station services. 2) If you aren't running the full set of solar panels, try to fit all small panels in instead of large ones. The small panels are more efficient for the number of blocks they occupy vs the large panels. Between you and Lyfeforse I'm looking forward to the front page being filled with all Star Wars ships this weekend!
OPV should probably be all combat steel. Since it''ll have an NPC core (if it's really going to be an OPV), just make the thrusters LOOK good, the AI will take care of the rest (no up or down thrust needed). Better rear turret coverage is probably a good idea too. More Kriel is MOAR better!
Yes please put shaping blocks for thruster housings instead of those shutter doors. And you can remove two side thrusters and put few manual weapons instead. This will allow you to go into combat and get drone parts in order to put more stuff in.
The choppiness might be related to the voxel based system. The further in the distance the more choppy you might notice it to be. Could be graphical; could just be you noticing the voxel motion.
Hello Jeff, I'm French and I'm suscribed to your workshop. Your blueprints are really insane !! We've been watched it in game with a friend who knows Empyrion and your work. I've made recently a huge capital vessel called Imperator. I worked on it for more than a month. Could you show it in a video "a look at the workshop" please ? 🙏🙏🙏 Sorry for my English.
Hey Jeff, I wonder if the performance issues you are experiencing are related to when they added AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 and NVIDIA DLSS2 with the change in Unity version. Those should be options you can change in the settings. Might resolve your performance hiccups o7
It really is a shame that structural frame blocks can't be textured, overall I think the ship is looking great though, especially the interior. Nice to see a new Kriel adversary in the making too 🙂
Hi J, I am subbed to Spanj and have been watching his latest EGS playthrough, on his last 2 episodes he also had horrible camera stutter in 1st and 3rd person view, it seems to be related to the latest EGS update.
I just love what you come up with for Kriel shaping. It's great to see more OPV for them. Always so unique.
Thanks Jeff!
Nice start on the Kriel OPV and the final version of the Imperial Carrier. Can't wait how the OPV unfolds.

i do like the shape of the kreil opv - very deep sea.
Looking good J! Not sure what's up with the stuttering, I haven't experienced that myself.
The first ship looks great. I would use it as is, because I would make some changes to suit my style.

It looks like a Victory class Star Destroyer so a cool name could be “Victory.”

Thank you very much and I will check it out. :)

I've noticed the choppiness recently too. Doesnt happen all the time but its annoying when it does

Dense Mining turrets doesn't have retractable versions.
