I believe bounce could actually be good if it could bounce much further, like 10-15 meters. That way the mod to let it hit allies and the bounce again pants could let it have a role in single target and supply you with ammo for continuous firing. I don't even think it has bigger range than frost vortex and bomber, making it just worse in aoe than them. Tbh though, bouncing to allies should be baseline and then change the bounce to allies mod to a bounce again mod. That way it'd be less damage but fill a support like role similar to bullseye while still capable of holding it's own to some degree. The bounce to allies mod is badly described btw and it still does damage to enemies, it just tries and fails to clarify that allies don't take any damage. It would still not beat any of the others in raw single target but it'd at least have a niche in cleaving down adds while still having some single target function.

I made a shrapnel build it’s just so overturned that I’m gonna stop progressing with the build and focus on ones which I have fun with. As well as that there are plenty of great content creators which make shrapnel builds. Bounce defo fills a niche, wish it had a bit more too it as like you say it’s not as flashy as the vortex or bomber builds. But I agree bouncing to allies should be basekit to allow it to become more of a support weapon. I kept away from the bounce refill mod as the description makes it seem like it does no damage. If you’re playing solo it’s useless anyway tbh! It’s just another way to play the build but less effective. I think if you wanted to buff bounce you could add a debuff when the bounce triggers or just make the refill base kit but have it at a percentage.
@@FruityF00L Well my idea with refill mod was that with the Prickly Dance Pants (100% chance for bounce to bounce again for 100% bounce damage), it'd allow you to get in close with the LMG or SMG and have bullets bounce between you and the target while refilling for you. Don't think it'd be awesome damage still, but having it on an alt weapon could help in single target I guess.

@@stryderfox4778 I mainly use the mp5 with the prickly pants. It does bounce back to the enemy but the damage is delayed so you have to burst to not overshoot. That ally reflect mod build leans more into a crit build. I've noticed the mp5 can go either full crit or a mix of both crit and weakspot. Full crit build if you decide to use the reflect off allies mod since you'll be close or a mix if you want to be mid-range.
u can also try the bulls eye boots with bingo u switch to bingo mark the enemy becuase 100% mark then switch to bounce itll be weakshot 100% ull loose the +1 bounce trigger but having 100% bounce sounds fun might give that a try
I have prickly dance pants, it did not do unlimited bounce. But maybe cuz I dont have the 300% weakspot priority which is crucial to triggering further bounces, no weakspot hit = entirely no bounce after all
I have bad news...I got the mod and the +1 bounce trigger pants. Let me upload the results later. All I can say is, it definitely doesnt feel like an 80% chance to bounce on weakspot hit, and I mean thats on the first shot :|

Tell me what can you tell apart! Same with the other players too, I cannot grasp if bounce is too weak for what its intended or not since I dont have the right mods yet. @@MICROKNIGHT3000 So I watched your clip and it looked like you did a hell of alot more damage when you switched to the sharp blade pants. the bounce trigger count +1 seemed to increase your overall weakspot damage compared to when you were wearing the previous unique's. It looked to me your damage increased once you changed your shorts.
I did phase/Coherance Season and am being obliterated as I knew nothing about them. I am doing a Unstable, Almost done/Bounce Armor set to switch between. Phase ones can be tackled but are week to Bounce and Coherance requires Unstable. Secondary Character may replace main.
in beta 2 this is not how bounce work bounce is like multi ammo hit for example you hit enemies the ammo you shot will be multiply its like it will bounce 3 to 5x in one target this build is OP back then but now its kinda weak i hope the bounce in beta 2 will be back
that will still be stupid because there are multiple boss that has no near walls in their area. Also would be useless in Prime war. Why not just a mod that adds Ricochet effect to the bullet if there are no other targets to bounce and the bullet just goes back to the first target making you double your damage instead.

@@madp9892 use the renegade armour. Weak spot damage will sky rocket. I’d keep the unique pants. Could possibly use a bounce weapon as a secondary as well

@@FruityF00L have you tried mini feaster + the mod that allows friendly bounce? in theory it seems to be good since it spawns the tentacle beside the target when bounce triggers, which will allow you to continue bouncing

Hello! I was wondering where did you farm for the targeted bounce? I am using a spreadsheet and it says it can be dropped in a shadow hound normal. I am still in phase 2. And also there is another a bounce mod prioritizing weakspots too but for the mask and can be farm at siloex1 but still no drop for me.
@@stryderfox4778 I think I got from shadow hound hard. As that’s where I got my weapon ones. The others I farm in silos using the spreadsheet. Can’t remember where I got the priority weak-spot one. Think I got that from the silo.
scrolled through video, saw you had elemental damage on a mod, not positively sure, but that does nothing for bounce I believe. Bounce would probably work better with Violent suffix mods, which is Crit mods.

I have showcase both legendary pants the one with +1 bounce trigger is the best. Most frequent in making long chains, 2 bullet bounce means 2 stack of the 20% on next magazine bullet as in faster buildup of dmg.

I dont get it... I dont have 2 of the mods that are shown (+25% weakspot dmg; +20 dmg for not taking dmg) and my sniper is at +9 rn, but my damage is around 4-5k on lvl 46 mobs... Am I missing something? Ive got the renegade set with the +1 bounce shorts. I do not believe that these 2 mods will make a 15k+ difference

The mask silo weakspot priority is unconfirmed to drop from the silo now as its red in the spreadsheet

its not even 6 weeks, closer to 2 months, each phase isnt a week, 1-3 are, 4 and 5 have both been 10 days, and phase 6 is around 10 days-2 weeks.
