Thanks for this. 🙏 You’re right about the nut falling into the machine and having to get it out is a bear. Once the top is off it’s a simple fix. Luckily, the top of my Kenmore is easy to remove and the machine needed oiling 😂!
My bobbin winder stopper came off the machine (Singer 2932). My problem is not how to adjust it but how to replace it. I can't find the screw/nut to attach it to the machine.
If the screw was completely unscrewed it would have fallen into the bottom of the machine. If you can’t find it then I would recommend taking the screw to a local hardware store and finding a nut to fit it. Unfortunately they don’t sell the screws and nuts new, and finding a used one would probably be near impossible.
