As a 71 year old woman that grew up in a delightful time of music and peace, I am so thankful for Beth. She's living proof that the music will not die. I love her . Thank you Beth Hart ❤❤❤
I've been to two of Beth's live concerts and both were the best I have ever seen. She puts true emotion into every performance, and it draws you in like a whirlpool, and you are better for it.
@@twhittaker66 both Janis and Beth lay out their heart and soul through music. Janis got up there on stage and showed it can be done. Janis sadly is gone but lives on through her music and style of expression. Janis opened the door, Beth walked through it and shows the world that it is perfectly fine to share that deep felt emotion. Had Janis not passed at such a young age her voice would have become more refined just as Beth's voice has become. Both women have had their struggles in life. Struggles that show in their music. They are both unique yet similar. They both touch my soul. There should be no competition in music, only appreciation. Music is art not a sport. Beth Hart makes me feel alive again! Her music makes me feel good! The way she brings that music out from deep down in her soul is a sight to hear, feel, and see. After I wrecked my motorcycle 5 and a half years ago, I didn't know what to do. It left me paralyzed from the mid chest down, and 4 years later they took off both of my legs. I faked life for a while. I stayed positive most of the time for the people around me and sometimes a tiny part of that was to keep what I had left going. During most of this time I stopped listening to music. I couldn't dance, I couldn't sing, I couldn't do life. My pain to this day keeps me in this miserable bed. I still try to have some type of faith and hope that God will at least take away this pain. About a year ago I discovered Beth Hart while I was starting to listen to a Lil bit of blues on UA-cam and I stopped the voices in my head and I spent about a week getting to know her and a little of what she's about and I fell in love with it all!! I love her voice, and I love that she doesn't care what anyone thinks about how she does life. What you see is what you get. I still stop when I hear her music and I really listen to it all even though I still haven't completely connected back to life yet, but I keep trying a little at a time. So thank you for your music, thank you for your story that you so openly share and thank you God for her beautiful soul.
I’m 64 and been following Beth since Star Search. As a vocalist myself at the time I studied her and covered many of her songs. She’s like no other a bad ass woman all around. ❤ so glad you made this video and sorry and a little ashamed that I’m just finding it.
Why am I just now discovering her? Saw a video of her performing Zeppelin's Black Dog, and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY! Bought the Zeppelin tribute album immediately, and started accumulating her other albums. Beth, you are amazing, and your singing is top notch! Keep on ROCKING!
Everything she puts out is amazing (understand that she is very eclectic). It's even worth getting her very first, self-produced album (Beth Hart and the Ocean of Souls) from 1993 which she never discusses. There are a couple of good songs on it, and really bad ones, but it was her first effort to publish at age 20--she sang a lot of these on Star Search in 1993. For her live albums, always get the DVD's.

Brilliant documentary. It shows so much and manages to get so close without bothering anyone, the musicians or the viewer. So well done. Fed my mind and soul. Thanks!
I have been a fan from the early days and have seen Beth and her lovely band many times here in the UK. Not only immensely talented but a wonderful human being too.❤
Ask anyone who knows about singing and vocal power, this lady’s name is always on that very small list. This passion comes from the heart and soul. From out of the fire a phoenix has risen in all her glory. Beth you fucking Rock 🎸❤️
Couldn’t have said it better! 💕
Extraordinary artist, one of the kind. I am so greatful that I have the pleasure of listening this genuine music and vocal interpretation and meeting Beth and her family band through videos like this one. Thank you very much! All the best to all! ❤
Great documentary, certainly one of the best ever made about Beth! I was so frustrated when it came out last week with a German dub and no subtitles, because I'm French and I don't understand a German word. Thanks to WDR for this original subtitled version ♥

I flippin love her!!!!! Not since Janis have I heard a voice as gut-wrenching and soulful as hers! So very thankful for her and Joe B, they both have shut the door on the commercialism of the music industry….🙏🏽🎶🙏🏽
Beth, your music, your words, have been with me through some of my highest highs, lowest lows, brightest and darkest times. One day I will have the joy and privilege of seeing you in person ❤️
I've seen her twice, once front row at the piano. She is amazing. One more show in Rochester in 2024 can't wait!! Love You Beth Hart!!
Beth Hart is the essence of authenticity. So raw, so real, nothing is held back. It's a big job to hold your own ideals in this world. Stay steady you are fabulous!
Amen and I love her. Also an old lady (63) and she’s a way into power blues. She shakes everything.
Beth sings with every single cell in her body. Such passion. Amazing voice. ❤❤❤❤
What fantastic sounds! Congrats to the band(s), too. Besides the great and wonderful Beth Hart.
She's SO awesome...so many times I just found myself smiling at this chick's mojo!!!!
A magnificent concert and a gorgeous image of the performer!! Congratulations to all authors! Special admiration for the inimitable Bert! ❤
Desde Argentina, toda la admiración para esta Diosa del blues.
Esta Argentina en gringolandia comparte tu admiración por esta bella mujer!
Love ya Mr. Wolf, thank you for giving us another Chance ❤❤🎉
This is by far the best Beth Hart documentary I have ever seen. Bravo!
Bless Beth for the light she brings/expresses into this often dark time of existence. Live well happy and long you shining star, I pray. Come back to New Zealand... in the south....and live here xxx
Beth is amazing, her and the band should be as well known as Led Zeppelin!
Beth Hart the best blues singer of all times female
Be your own thing. She’s more hard ass than I feel totally comfortable with but definitely great singer and performer. I rehabbed myself many times and the psyche ward stuff is just a don’t know what to do with her thing. It’s amazing she can put herself out there so forcefully now and someone said she’s a phoenix and I see this as true
This women is the queen of the blues none better, beautiful person beautiful vocals. Just excellence in stage presence. Take my money
Thank you for uploading the English version!
As a singer, we get it. She’s simply the best there is.
"Soul-full" is the definition of Beth! Always on the "edge" scarry times!
Thanks for that, Beth. You are something special, on you’re own way, that’s perfect.
