Usually when watching live videos I watch the band, but now, for some strange reason, I am just watching my own head swinging back and forth 😅 (right in front of Xen, beard and a huge forehead). Kind a strange feeling to see myself over there 🤔
He also skipped the 15-second growl from Triptych Lux / Curator movement, but it's probably like you said, that could've also put quite a strain on his voice, and in the context of a big tour that's really something one should be wary of.
It puts no particular strain on his voice, because his technique is fine. If it did he his voice would be shot after one gig. He was simply out of breath/stamina.
Actually, he was recovering from being sick. A few days before this, in Gothenburg I think, he couldn't perform (airways infection aka the common cold).
@@boundbydecay9118 yeah .... guitarists can simply pull through when the get sick... but vocalists can't and shouldn't perform with an inflamed throat.... 😣
