I always say you need to be comfortable with your art supplies to feel great when you have your creative ideas flowing, im a derwent fan the pencils seem to fit in my palm very well. I bought the crayola oil pastel just to see if i even like oil pastel..oh your self portrait is really good..enjoyed video found it interesting and informative. 📒🖍🖌🎨🇺🇲💙

Cute video! Loved the yellow sketchbook the stickers were adorable and the Caran D'ache gouache has been on my list for awhile. Hey do you know if the schminke palette you showed allows you to take the thing that holds the tubes out? I've almost bought a couple but I'm always worried I wouldn't be able to take them out and put half pans in using a magnet. I don't want to carry the tubes and it seems like it would make sense to take it apart, but no one on UA-cam that I've seen so far has addressed this issue. 😊
Well I had not checked until your comment made me curious to go look at it a bit closer. I don’t want to carry the tubes around either and it appears that the molded edges inside for the tubes do not come out :( I tried yanking it out and no luck. As far as I can tell there seems to be space for four rows of magnetic half pans next to the curved paint tube holders but that’s about all.😩
@ Oh, no now I feel bad! You could have lived in bliss not knowing for a bit longer until you decided to use it. 😂 Seriously, though thanks for checking. I've been so close to purchasing them when on sale, but have never seen a video where anyone addressed if it was removable or not so always decided to not do it. Really appreciate you letting me know otherwise I'm sure I would have eventually succumbed to the temptation. 😂 I just don't understand why they'd make it that way because it seems like it would be easier and take up less room if you really needed to take the tubes with you to put them in something smaller and lighter. Thanks again for sharing!
