I don't have the slightest idea what led me here. I wanted some good heavy rap. I somehow thought, I'll look for some Christian stuff. Trip Lee never seemed too heavy to me, but when this popped up, I knew from the intro that it was something like what I was looking for. When it got half a minute in, I knew it was exactly what I wanted. The tears started around halfway through. This is so strong and so driven. I couldn't have asked for a better song suggestion from the big guy.

I don't know if that is necessarily true. The United States is certainly becoming a scary place for Christians, however, there are more and more people, even in the liberal media, looking to the Bible for answers. There is a problem with Postmodernism, and it is this: humans (naturally religious beings) have a problem living happy lives without some belief in a higher power. This is why we need to guard our hearts, and do as much research into the apologetics (the defense) of the Bible. Paul did so, we should as well. Jesus knew the Scriptures better than anyone else, we should strive for this. I would also argue we, as the Body of Christ, should know as much about evolutionary biology as we do about Intelligent Design. We need to know the enemy's viewpoint better than his own, so that we can protect against it.
Jonathan Ware I absolutely agree about knowing the Bible and really *knowing* the bible - being able to explain and prove just like Paul did. Even if we can cite the whole Bible from start to finish it's no use if we don't understand it and as you put it - the apologetics of it. That kind of knowledge of the Bible + a living, uncompromising, 24/7 all in relationship with God is what we all need.

People don't really think about the people who are being persecuted and being suffered just because of believing God. I love the song and the message people would be good if that'll happen to them but for now they wouldn't. We should pray to the people that are happening to them like people in India and other areas. We need to spread the word of God to others. We need to die so we may see our King and Father Lord Jesus. I'm 13 years old and I understand the message. If we been hurt or killed, then just take it tell them to give them all you got. Wow, this is my first time hearing this song & it really reminded of something... no Christian should be afraid of persecution. Stay strong my brother's and sister's in Christ Jesus. Our goal is far greater than what this world can understand... But while we're here, we have to be a light & stand for holiness! We must live a life as a living sacrifice.
