Great video and commentary as always! It’s awesome that this indoor flea market is still open after all these years and you can continue to hunt for cool stuff! 🙂👍
Thanks for visiting our booth (Sensational Comics) the booth with vintage toys, comics, and funko pops. As well as our adorable pup who was hanging out in the booth that day. As a long time vendor there , as well as a dealer at collectible conventions and shows throughout the North East, I think that the amount of collectibles dealers at Raynham sets us aside from what you would typically expect at a flea market. Sure some booths look like someone's harder house, but most of us try to give a booth with quality products and presentation.
While I haven't found any sold sealed examples of those Horror stickers, the only comp I could find is an open complete box on ebay with a $1500 bin, thats been sitting for a bit. I priced it 1/3 below that and of course as always my prices are written on stickers not carved in stone.....
The problem with flea markets, auctions, antique shows and antique malls in the modern era is that sellers can get online and research their items. The good finds are still out there but not common. Still fun to go though.
16:16 That display card was used by the USPS to get people to use ZIP codes for mail. There was a heavy push in the mid to late 1960s to get ZIP codes in regular use. Always appeal to the children first because they aren't opposed to change and learning.
As a dealer (and collector), I can say this - You can sell almost anything to anyone, if presented nicely and it's in good shape AND the price is right. Heaven knows I've done it. One man's trash is another man's treasure...and VICE versa.
Fleas used to be ...well, pretty shoddy. I mean, at the one I do, IF it's Memorial day, I usually end up in the "field" (outside) because there's so many dealers set-up. Thousands of people attend this thing because it's like Woodstock...that's how huge it is. Shockingly, now...people don't just spend $3 to $5 on stuff....you can sell $200 pieces IF you have the right stuff. People are NOW carrying some serious money on them...not like it was in the 90's. They don't want to just see a bunch of tools, or rummage sale fodder...they WANT collectibles and are willing to pay for them. Also, if you're a dealer who does set up at fleas....you better start taking paypal, Applepay, Visa, etc. Many people now ask you at fleas...EVEN if you are set-up in the gravel or out in the field, IF you take credit cards. YOu'll miss out on sales if you don't take them. We used to come home from the fleas with cash...now we come home with half the sales in credit cards and half in cash. Due to that - TOTAL sales have been MUCH better too.
Nice one and the toy shows interesting, but a crap shoot like ya mentioned....one mans treasure....happy new year and have you figured the origin of that styro ghost prop you bought yet?
When I was 6 or 7 I got the Remco Mini Monsters Haunted House play set from JC Penny for my birthday...... God I wish I still had it...... Came with all the figures.
Great content that transformers stuff was sort of spot on it's all original and in the box I have purchased some of it but all of rest was too much mega channel the best
Wow Iron Maiden Piece of Mind 60 bucks. Got mine at Caldor for 10 bucks back in the day. Glad I still have all my original albums from them. Prices are sickening today!
Dynomutt isn’t that lost he was in a movie and has bin serval Scooby doo movies and tv shows . He and blue falcon even met the super sons in a dc comics cross over
I feel like ppl that overpriced their stuff is bc they don't really want to sell it. So they put a ridiculous price on it. And if it ever sells they will be overly satisfied with it but chances are they are goin to sit on it month after month & it may never go anywhere.
I have an interesting story. Let's imagine being in a comicbook shop circa 1993. There stands on a shelf in its original box a KENNER 1979 Alien. The price: one hundred dollars. It's unbelievable what these dealers/ sellers charge for toys and collectibles these days. Is the Kenner Alien figure worth 1,500 dollars. Probably not. But maybe a collector will finally get their Holy Grail that day.
Avg sold listings on a boxed complete Kenner Alien are in that range, or it wouldn't be priced at that. Venue of sale (flea market) doesn't dictate price. Dealers aren't there to sell at a price that you can profit by reselling it.
Or that you're just a cheap bitch that expects us to sell for under market value because of the venue of sale. Avg sold lisings range from 1300 to 2k for boxed complete ungraded Kenner Aliens. You're gonna try to haggle a little anyway if you're a legit buyer of an item like this. You're calling a seller an asshole for asking a realistic price as a starting point, so that just tells me that you either don't know what thus piece typically hits, or you're just a cheapo that wants to bitch because it's not cheap enough for you to buy and resell.
@@darkridedracula A flea market is a ONE DAY affair where the vendors must get rid of their stuff fast and DO NOT WANNA GO HOME WITH IT. End of day- they pack up and LEAVE the grounds. Like they do at the Columbus flea market. Those INDOOR centers are people paying high rent on a BOOTH that is a permanent FIXTURE . Until they decide to pull out. Or not. They need to make "rent" every month and that is why their junk is marked up 5 times what it's really worth.

Another great episode. Always love to see the vintage mask. Was that a Don Post?
Very cool finds at the flea market!

Wow this brought back memories of going as a teenager to Union Flea market in NJ in the 80’s.

1:30 I've seen a lot of pictures of the Misfits lately and I never heard of them before.
Some great vhs indeed...don't wanna even know the prices 😅😅😅
great episode... thanks for sharing.
Nice indoor flea market and thanks for sharing and Happy New Years
Great stuff at Raynham & The RI Antiques Center! I may have to swing by them to pick up some stuff!
I live 15 miles from this fle market, and I have never been. I always wondered what it was like in there. So thank you guys for posting this one. 👍
100% agree! CARD ART!
15:27 Who got the finger. How did that get past the censors.
It's all worthless till you find someone to pay you what you ask for.

Always fun!
Joey Lawrence in the thumbnail, boo. I only watch the ones with Amy in the thumb. 😍
Those old indoor fleas! Rt. 1 in Edison & Collingswood

Actually yes!! It was originally in Brigantine Castle 🙂
@@darkridedracula Was it from Eric Princz stuff? Interested and agree, from the era...
Let me know if authenticate it and let it go.
Spaderman! Haha! Theme song is Motorhead 'Ace of Spades'!
Remember to have your pets spayed or neutered.
Ok, I'll show myself out...
How about shouting out the dealer that you liked? It's Sensational Comics. Prices are fair if your collector and not a reseller.

17:52 that would have been mine. tmnt rpg game
Everybody's grandmother loved wrestling!

I’d have spent way too much money in there! Now I’m thinking about visiting my local.
Raynham had heaps of nice stuff. Definitely didn't come as advertised, lol. Dynomutt board game was a pretty cool piece...
Happy New Year !!!
That's our stomping grounds 😂
💪😎

Welcome to the “Bucket” it’s a great place to shop. Raynham flea is much better in the warmer weather.
But maybe the prices are a bit high, don't you think?....

the fleamarket is overpriced crazy here in holland the netherlands is it a lot cheaper!
I think that place is a rip off sometimes
7:11. This person who priced this is saying to us "Hi. I'm an a$$hole".

Prices on the last 5 sold examples are all between $1300 and 2k... a$$hole indeed.
This is an ANTIQUE CENTER -- it's NOT a flea market.
It's literally called Raynham Flea Market and the mascot is a Flea 🤣

The chucky was bad ass!
Prices are insane! Not flea market prices at all!
